This paper proposes a method for constructing the virtual characters adopting the personal body types for the clothing coordination. At first, the method produces the 38 kinds of the Korean 3D body models considering sex, ages and body types, and constructs model DB. We select a model similar to the personal body size from DB and deform the selected model according to body size. The method deforms the model linearly for height 12 items, width 6 items, depth 5 items and round 13 items, and constructs the personal character fitted to the personal body size. The preprocess for model deformation consists of grouping for body part and establishing the feature points. Linear deformation for each group leads us to easy construction of the virtual personal characters. This method has two advantages as follows: 1. Large reduction of man power, cost and time for DB construction of the body 3D models, since the preprocess permits us to effectively use the various body models whose geometrical structures are different, 2 Suitability to Web-based clothing coordination, since the body deformation method is simple and its speed is very high.

City Train Technology that is large and complex system and consists of mechanical, electronic, electric, materials, computer, communication, civil/track etc. is very important area of railway industry, national fundamental industry. The standardization of city train system as a public transportation method and foundation of national economy is very important in order to do effective operation and to get fundamental technology, and the information system of the standards is required to operate the city train system effectively. By building data base of city train system design knowledge using computer-aided system engineering tool-Cradle, the system development issues and the design solutions are used by all engaged persons, and are managed by modeling and documentation. And this system will support architecture design consistently and effectively by applying this system to formalize early development process, to system requirements and configuration management, to system interface analysis and management and to system behavior analysis etc.. This study is for construction of data base of system design knowledge through making data base of many kinds of standards using CASE tool based on System Engineering Process, and introduces a model to support concurrent engineering for all engineers involved in system development allowing access to standard DB through Web from anywhere and at anytime.

Since a 'Well-being' theme had become an issue in 90's, everyone now care about their health more than ever. Besides, IT has been developed so tremendously that we have various ways to collect up-to-dated information through the internet. There are so many web sites that contain information about health and diet. However, the menus of these web sites are not simplified and the content is too large, so the information we see in those web sites may not be accurate. Also, some information is out-of-dated. In this paper, we propose a web site called 'Calory&Diet' that provides customized information on diet. The characteristics of the web site are as following: First, the menu is so simple that users can easily find information they want. Second, it only provides necessary customized information. Lastly, it uses an open application that helps users always get the latest information without DB updates. With its user friendly menu and feedback information, the proposed web site can be a good advisor for people who want to be healthy. 100 offers the user survey results than existing systems, simple system to 2%, 3% from a custom-related topics, the latest related topics were 3% higher on 5 point scale.

This study aims to improve the accessibility of websites that can search for online e-journals and check the original text, and the accessibility of web contents in the form of article papers. In order to publish online e-journals in Korea, article contribution management system is used, and services are provided through public or private academic DB companies. There was no content related to accessibility in the publishing and editing stage of online e-journals. In the case of foreign countries, objective to comply with Level AA of WCAG 2.1 to improve accessibility of websites and web content. In addition, the level of accessibility of academic journals is guided through VPAT. In order to improve access to web content in online journals, Accessibility matters are added to the academic society's editorial and publication regulations. Accessibility education should be provided to journal editors. Accessibility checklists should be developed and researchers should verify themselves. To improve the accessibility of online e-journals to websites, For equal use, various convenience functions should be provided when using the website. It guides the accessibility function to the article contribution management system. Each academic and academic DB company should be required to submit a Korean VPAT.

Web 2.0 시대의 대표적인 콘텐츠인 UCC와 Learning 콘텐츠를 접목시킨다면, 효과적인 지식공유와 습득을 유도할 수 있을 것이다. 두 콘텐츠를 접목시켰을 때 일어날 수 있는 전문성과 신뢰성, 저작권법 관련 등의 문제점을 효과적으로 해결하기 위한 방안으로 History 검색을 제안한다. 또 그에 따른 메타데이터 설계와 데이터 검색방법을 제안한다. 효율적인 UCC기반 Learning history 검색을 위해서 reference 요소관리가 가능하도록 DB를 설계하였다. 저작도구를 이용하여 제작된 Learning UCC는 reference 요소를 통해 소스 콘텐츠에 관한 정보를 가지고 올 수 있으며, reference DB에 저장된 정보에 따라, 사용자에게 reference에 관한 정보들을 효과적으로 제공 할 수 있다. 저작도구를 사용해야 한다는 제한성과 검색 효율성을 보다 개선한다면 Learning UCC를 관리하기 위한 효과적인 시스템이 될 것이다.

This paper presents an optimized adoption of NVM for the storage system of heterogeneous applications. Our analysis shows that a bulk of I/O does not happen on a single storage partition, but it is varied significantly for different application categories. In particular, journaling I/O accounts for a dominant portion of total I/O in DB applications like OLTP, whereas swap I/O accounts for a large portion of I/O in graph visualization applications, and file I/O accounts for a large portion in web browsers and multimedia players. Based on these observations, we argue that maximizing the performance gain with NVM is not obtained by fixing it as a specific storage partition but varied widely for different applications. Specifically, for graph visualization, DB, and multimedia player applications, using NVM as a swap, a journal, and a file system partitions, respectively, performs well. Our optimized adoption of NVM improves the storage performance by 10-61%.

In order to design the large complex structures like VLFS (Very Large Floating Structures), it is essential the cooperation between the experts in various fields; structural engineering expert, fluid mechanics expert, mooring system engineer, and so on. This paper describes the development of an integrated system to support the cooperative design between various experts and project manager. This integrated system is designed to be operated in Web environment and it contains the support of design DB and 3D graphical tool, negotiation tool for task allocation, and various engineering supporting tools for each design step. The user group of this system can be classified as Project Manager, Engineering Expert, DB Builder, and System Administrator. All of the engineering data is saved after and during the process of the design projects and all participants can be connected by Internet without the limit of time or space constraints.

XLL은 웹 상에서 문서의 표준화와 데이터베이스로서의 역할을 잘 감당한다. 이러한 이점 때문에 XML 관련 표준안들이 늘어나고 개발되고 있는 추세이다. XML 관련 표준안으로는 XSL, 스키마, 네임스페이스, XLL 등이 있다. 이 중 XLL은 현재 IE(Internet Explorer) 5.5에서도 제대로 지원되지 않아 XLL을 구현하기 위한 연구들이 활발히 진행되고 있다. XLL을 지원하는 브라우저, 프로그램, 컴포넌트들이 개발되었는데 이것들은 모두 해당 프로그램을 다운받거나 설치해야한다는 단점이 있고 특정 프로그램을 사용해야 하는 부담이 따른다. 본 논문은 웹 상에서 아무런 프로그램이 없이 XML 문서의 URL을 등록하면 그 문서에 있는 XLL을 DB를 이용하여 저장하고, ASP 및 DOM을 이용하여 DB에 저장된 XLL과 원래 문서에 포함된 XLL을 웹 상에서 바로 보여질 수 있도록 구현한다. XML 문서가 HTML을 넘어서 대중화가 되었을 때 웹 로봇이 XLL 등록하는 역할을 하도록 한다면 XML을 기반으로 하는 검색사이트로서의 역할을 감당할 수 있다.

본 논문은 DNA microarray chip 을 사용한 실험 결과로 생산되는 대량의 데이터를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 LIMS 개발에 대해 기술한다. 기존의 상용 LIMS 는 보편적 패턴과 방식을 정규화하여 제공하기 때문에 실험실의 고유한 방식을 포함하긴 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 유연성 있는 LIMS 를 개발하기 위해 특정 실험 중심으로 설계하면서 MAGE-OM 의 표준을 따르도록 디자인하였고, HYLIMS manager 라는 Local Application 과 검색을 주로 이용하는 사용자를 위하여 Web 검색 시스템을 구현하였다. 데이터베이스의 부하를 줄이기 위해 데이터 저장용 DB 와 검색용 DB 를 구분하였고, 데이터를 타입과 처리 형태에 따라 분류하여 관리하였으며 데이터 보안을 위해 실험 관리자가 사용자의 접근 제한을 설정 할 수 있도록 하였다.

인터넷 사용자가 급증하고, 인터넷을 통한 비즈니스에 수익 모델에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 방문자별로 맞춤 정보를 제공하는 퍼스널라이제이션이 인터넷 개발자 및 사용자들의 관심을 모으고 있다. 이러한 퍼스널라이제이션을 위해서 전처리과정인 사용자 프로파일 생성과정을 확장된 웹 로그 처리 시스템을 통해서 구현해본다. 웹사이트 서버의 확장된 이벤트 처리, 즉 사용자의 행위정보를 로그에 포함시켜 로그정보를 웹 로그 서버에 전송하도록 설계하였다. 그리고 이 웹 로그 정보를 쉽게 분석할 수 있다. 이때 데이터베이스 저장 기술로 OLE DB Provider상에서 수행되는 ADO 기술을 사용함으로써 확장된 웹 로그 처리 시스템을 설계하였다. 확장된 웹 로그 DB를 패턴분석, 군집분석 등의 마이닝(Mining) 기법을 통하여 맞춤 서비스에 대한 사용자 프로파일을 구축할 수 있다.
