Small-Scale Warehouse Management System by Log-Based Context Awareness (로그기반 상황인식에 의한 소규모 창고관리시스템)

  • Various application systems are developed using RFID as a part of ubiquitous computing, and it is expected that RFID chip will become wide-spread for the distribution industry especially. Efficient and efact intelligent-type of warehouse management system is essential for small-to-medium-sized enterprises in the situation having a trouble in the viewpoint of expense and manpower. In this paper, we implement small-scale warehouse management system using log-based context awareness technology. This system is implemented to be controlled on web, configuring clients to control RFID readers and building up DBMS system in a server. Especially, it grasps user's intention of storing or delivering based on toE data for the history of user's access to the system and it reports user's irregular pattern of warehouse use and serves predictive information of the control of goods in stock. As a result, the proposed system can contribute to enhance efficiency and correctness of small-scale warehouse management.

A Comparative Study on Authority Records for Japanese Writers in Japan and the United States of America (미국과 일본의 일본인 저자 전거에 관한 비교 연구)

  • Name authority control is important for not only library catalogers but also end users, since it provides uniform access points. The national libraries in Japan and the United States have constructed and controlled authority records for writers from early days, and have provided them on the web sites. The purposes of this study are to extract common fields and differences in Japanese writer's name authority records of the U.S. and Japan, and to propose the ways of desirable description of authority records in Korea. Several suggestions of building authority records in National Library of Korea such as open to the pubic of authority records, provision of various forms of authority files, suggestion of the ways of writing the names of foreign writers, and the links between the authority records and library catalogs for retrieval are proposed.

  • Most of the study on fairness control method for Distributed-Queue Dual-Bus(DQDB) have been performed under specific load types such as equal probability load types or symmetric load types. On Web-based internet enviroments client-server load types are more practical traffic patlerns than specrfic load types. In this paper, an effiective fairness control method to distribute DQDR network bandwidth fairly to all stations under a client-server load is proposed. In order to implement a dynamic bandwidth timing capabihty needed to distribute the bandwidth fairty at heavy loads, the proposed method uses two pararnetexs, one is an access hrnit to legulate each station's packet transmission and the other is the number of extra emply slots that are yielded to downstream stations. In point of implementation this mechanism is simpler and easier than Bandwidth Tuning Mechanism(BTM) that uses an intermediate pattern and an adptation function. Simulation results show that it outperforms othen mecharusms.

  • ubiquitous network management system (u-NMS) is the network management system based on smartphone which are recently of wide use. The purpose of the u-NMS is to provide convenience for network administrator utilizing the mobility of smartphone and to manage the network efficiently. This paper proposes the smart NMS agent and the mobility management server (MMS). The smart NMS agent enables to use the monitoring web server and remote control application on the smartphone in wireless network. The MMS is developed to reduce the problems such as handover latency and packet loss, which can be taken place in wireless network. The network manager can monitor traffic in real time through the smart NMS agent and remotely control the network efficiently when sudden failures happen in the u-NMS. In this paper, performance evaluation is carried out with our test-bed system implemented. We focus on the measurement of the MMS performance. When the MMS is compared to previous mobility management protocol, our mobility management server reduces the average latency up to 65% in initial access, handover latency and processing delay to the network management center.

  • There are recently a lot of inconvenience because every client should be set to the proxy server on the browser in order to control the access by means of the client authentication in the proxy server. The client authentication technology using the transparency cache in this paper will be transparently used for every user in the internet which option of the authentication function is simply set in the cache server. In addition, the administrator will get the benefit since he can control the traffic of each client and strengthen the security. And also, this system is expected to use in the eCRM deeply rotated to the tendency of the client in the field of the e-commerce like shopping mall in the internet since the administrator can monitor the pattern of the client using the internet. This technique can be applied to the company affiliated research center, the EC website, and the military where it is essential for the tight security even though there are no additional security devices.

  • User interactions are being developed in various forms, and in particular, interactions using human gestures are being actively studied. Among them, hand gesture recognition is used as a human interface in the field of realistic media based on the 3D Hand Model. The use of interfaces based on hand gesture recognition helps users access media media more easily and conveniently. User interaction using hand gesture recognition should be able to view images by applying fast and accurate hand gesture recognition technology without restrictions on the computer environment. This paper developed a fast and accurate user hand gesture recognition algorithm using the open source media pipe framework and machine learning's k-NN (K-Nearest Neighbor). In addition, in order to minimize the restriction of the computer environment, a stereoscopic image control system based on user hand gesture recognition was designed and implemented using a web service environment capable of Internet service and a docker container, a virtual environment.

  • 사용목적(Purpose)은 최근 개인 프라이버시 보호와 관련하여 데이타 수집과 수집 후 보안관리에 있어서 중요한 요소로 사용되고 있다. W3C(World Wide Web Consortium)는 데이타 제공자가 자신이 방문한 웹 사이트에 개인정보를 제공하는 것을 통제할 수 있도록 하는 표준을 제시하였다. 그러나 데이타 수집 후 유통과정에서 개인정보에 대한 보안관리에 대한 언급이 없다. 현재 히포크라테스 데이타베이스(Hippocratic Databases), 사용목적기반 접근제어(Purpose Based Access Control)등은 W3C의 데이타 수집 메커니즘을 따르고 있으며, 데이타 수집 후 보안관리에 대하여 사용목적 관리와 접근제어 기법을 사용하여 관리를 하고 있으나 사용목적에 대한 표현과 사용목적 관리의 미흡함으로 인하여 그에 따르는 개인정보의 프라이버시 보호에 있어서 효과적인 해결책을 제시하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문은 사용목적의 표현력을 향상시키면서. 사용목적의 효과적인 관리기법을 제시한다. 또한 개인의 프라이버시 보호를 위한 방법으로 사용목적의 분류화를 통해 최소권한의 원칙을 따르는 접근제어 기법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서는 사용목적을 상속적, 시간적 그리고 독립적 구조로 분류화하였으며, 이렇게 분류화된 사용목적에 대한 각기 다른 관리기법을 제시한다. 또한 접근제어의 유연성을 위해 RBAC의 역할계층 구조를 사용하였으며, 일의 최소 단위인 태스크(task)의 최소권한을 얻기 위한 조건으로 몇몇 특성의 사용목적을 사용하여 만족할 경우 태스크를 처리하기 위한 기존 모델보다 향상된 최소사용권한을 제공하는 기법을 제시한다.   • Recently, there have been many indexing schemes for multimedia data such as image, video data. But recent database applications, for example data mining and multimedia database, are required to support multi-user environment. In order for indexing schemes to be useful in multi-user environment, a concurrency control algorithm is required to handle it. So we propose a concurrency control algorithm that can be applied to CBF (cell-based filtering method), which uses the signature of the cell for alleviating the dimensional curse problem. In addition, we extend the SHORE storage system of Wisconsin university in order to handle high-dimensional data. This extended SHORE storage system provides conventional storage manager functions, guarantees the integrity of high-dimensional data and is flexible to the large scale of feature vectors for preventing the usage of large main memory. Finally, we implement the web-based image retrieval system by using the extended SHORE storage system. The key feature of this system is platform-independent access to the high-dimensional data as well as functionality of efficient content-based queries. Lastly. We evaluate an average response time of point query, range query and k-nearest query in terms of the number of threads.

  • In order to solve the problems such as overload, single point of failure, non-optimized data path, and network scalability in conventional central mobility management protocols, distributed mobility management schemes have been continually studied in and around the IETF. In this paper, a network-based partially-distributed mobility management mechanism, pDMMv6, is suggested and the performance comparison with traditional protocols such as PMIPv6 and MIPv6 is made through simulation under the various user traffic environment. The simulation results include UDP packet delivery ratio, end-to-end packet delay, binding delay for registration signaling, CPU utilization in each node, and response delays in several server-client TCP applications such as web browsing, e-mail, telnet remote login, FTP file up/down-load, and database access.
