Ever since the nonlinearity of machine tool dynamics was established, researchers attempted to make use of this fact to devise better monitoring, diagnostics and control system, which were hitherto based on linear models. Theory of chaos which explains many nonlinear phenomena comes handy for furthering the analysis using nonlinear model. In this study, measuring system will be constructed using multi-sensor (Tool Dynamometer, Acoustic Emission) in end milling process. Then, it will be verified that cutting force is low-dimensional chaos by calculating Lyapunov exponents. Fractal dimension, embedding dimension. And it will be investigated that the relation between characteristic parameter calculated from sensor signal and tool wear.

The purpose of this study is textile design development of the golf wear for international game in which it can inform the status of Korea through the visualization of the national symbolic image, and for this we developed the motive of modern Taeguk motive. According to an increase of popularization of the golf wear and participation of international game, the status of our country needs to be enhanced by developing the motive which the Korea symbolic pattern applied and applying to the golf wear, and it needs to contribute to the fashion industry through commercialization. 'Taeguk' is love with ideological concept and the Korea Founding Principles. The symbolic characteristic in which it represents the Korean image is clear. We presented applicable modern direction based on the figurative features and meaning of traditional pattern. The result of modernized Taeguk motive application to golf wear, effect of our country symbol showed up on a large scale in case of using single motive. And the pattern in which many arrangement methods are applied was more effective that it applies as the part of the detail than the front construction. In addition, we consider that It makes a large contribution to the fashion industry's development by application of fashionable pattern added in applied motive to golf wear.

The purposes of this study were to investigate the schema of jeans and to investigate the relation between jeans schema and fashion jeans wear. The specific objectives were; 1) to investigate the schema of jeans and the schema of fashion jeans; 2) to investigate the relation between the schema of jeans wear and demographic variables.; 3) to investigate the relation between the schema of fashion jeans and demographic variables; 4) to investigate the difference of the schema of jeans from the schema of fashion Jeans. The moi or findings were: 1) The schema of jeans was composed of 5 factors; casual, comfort, indivisuality, economic, unisex . 2) The schem of fashion jeans was composed of 4 factors; popularity, indivisuality, comfort, casul. 3) The schema of jeans and fashion jeans was affected more by age and marriage than job and educational level. Especially age 30-34 were important parts in market segmentation strategy of jeans. 4) As compared with the schema of jeans and the fashion jeans concept, casual, comfort were important part in the schema of jeans and popularity, indivisuality was important part in the schema of fashion jeans. As the tendency of fashionable of jeans wear, consumers concept of jeans changed to popular, characteristic.

Due to the characteristics of low power, high durability and high density, NAND flash memory is being heavily used in various type of devices such as USB, SD card, smart phone and SSD. On the other hand, because of another characteristic of flash cell with the limited number of program/erase cycles, NAND flash memory has a short lifetime compared to other storage devices. To overcome the lifetime problem, many researches related to the wear leveling have been conducted. This paper presents a method called a TCB (Tracking Cold Blocks) using more reinforced constraint conditions when classifying cold blocks than previous works. TCB presented in this paper keeps a MCT (Migrated Cold block Table) to manage the enhanced classification process of cold blocks, with which unnecessary migrations of pages can be reduced much more. Through the experiments, we show that TCB reduces the overhead of wear leveling by about 30% and increases the lifetime up to about 60% compared to BET and BST.

The perfect and accurate methods to control the wear are not made clear so far. For this phenomenon only mating surface has been studied. In order to control the wear the essence of it has to be made clear. It is reported that adhesive wear might occure as a result of plastic deformation, the fracture and removal or transfer asperities on close contacting surfaces. On this view point the plastic flow was attempted to compare with fluid or electromagnetic flow. The partial differential equations of equilibrium for the plane strain deformation will make use of the method of characteristics. The characteristic curves or characteristics of the hyperbolic equation coincide with the slip lines by R. Hill's papers. By Hencky's stress equation, it is evident that if P and .phi. are prescribed for a boundary condition then it may be possible to proceed along constant .alpha. and .betha. lines to determine the value of the hydrostatic pressure everywhere in the slip line field net work. A wedge formation mechanism has been considered for an explanation of this matters. The analysis shows that there is a critical value, which depends on the hardness ratio and the shear stress on the interface, for the top angle of asperity is less than this critical value, the asperity can yield plastically despite of being harder than the mating surface.

The purpose of this study is to show the friction and wear characteristics on the vapor deposited Tiseries coating layers on the SCM415 steel. In this research, frictional wear characteristic of coating materials such as TiN, TiCN, TiAlN was investigated under room temperature, normal air pressure and dry lubricating condition. Therefore this study carried out research on the friction coefficient, micro hardness(Hv), roughness, SEM on the vapor deposited coating layers on the SCM415 steel.

This study identifies the relationships among demographic variables, well-being health consciousness, sports/leisure activity, and the perceived premium price for high functional sports/leisure wear. An empirical study was conducted with the data collected by questionnaires distributed to male and female respondents aged 15 and over. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis, MANOVA, two-way ANOVA, and regressions were used to analyze 244 answers. As a result, 3 factors were determined for well-being health consciousness: nature-friendly life, premium consumption for health, and health care. The older group pursued a nature-friendly life more than the younger group, the female group pursued premium consumption for health more than male group, and older women and younger men pursued health care more than their counterparts. Sports/leisure activity was relatively intensive in the male group and in the younger group. Sports/leisure activity was explained by male characteristic and health care factors. Sports/leisure activity was the only element for predicting the perceived premium price ratio for high functional sports/leisure wear.

Carbon nanotube composite is considered to be a good candidate material for composite material because of its excellent mechanical property and low density under high temperature as well as good wear and frictional properties. In this study, tribological characteristics of carbon nanotube aluminum composite were evaluated using pin-on-disk wear tester. Spark Plasma Sintering method is more effective than Hot Pressing method in terms of wear and friction. The composite with 1% CNT has the lowest friction and wear characteristic.
