Experimental Study on Enhanced Structural Properties of Sprayable Waterproofing Membrane (구조적 성능이 보강된 차수용 박층 멤브레인의 기초 물성평가)

  • A sprayable waterproofing membrane which is composed of polymer-based material is relatively easy to install due to its construction method comparing with sheet-type membranes. And a sprayable waterproofing membrane has very similar material composition to the TSL which is for a permanent support. In this study, material composition of the sprayable waterproofing membrane was changed to enhance structural properties of membrane while maintaining waterproofing performance. In order to compare with a previous research for the TSL, series of tests were performed according to the performance criteria used for permanent support material (TSL) by EFNARC (2008). From the test result, the structural performance of the sprayable waterproofing membrane considered in this study showed a performance that could be used as a permanent support material.

  • A sprayable waterproofing membrane which has relatively high adhesive property onto concrete enables faster construction with better waterproof performance compared with a conventional sheet membrane. However, the sprayable waterproofing membrane is a recently developed material and its performance and behavior with structures are not sufficiently reported. Therefore, in this study, the shear behavior of sprayable waterproofing membrane was numerically analyzed using the results of previous studies of composite shotcrete with sprayable waterproofing membrane. From the previous study, shear behavior of shotcrete with sprayable waterproofing membrane was different from shotcrete case and there was a limitation to express the behavior of the interface in general shear strength method. Therefore, in this study, the direct shear test was numerically simulated using two contact models, and then the best suitable method to express the shear behavior of the sprayable waterproofing membrane was suggested.

  • The purpose of this study is to offer the basic information of waterproofing admixture of powder for field application. Through before study and fly ash in mortar, Various properties as fly ash ratio in concrete were checked. According to the experimental result, it was shown that proper Waterproofing admixture of powder increased by cement weight in concrete was generally positive effort to flowing, compressive strength, suction ratio of water, length of ratio. So if Waterproofing admixture of powder il well done quality considered as good in application of concrete.

  • The field application through the quality control of self adhesive rubberized asphalt waterproofing sheet was regulated by KS F 4934 of Korea Standard in 2003. However, regulations that different material properties of self-Adhesive waterproofing sheets are difficult on the standard. Therefore, this research was performed for of quality control all affiliations of self-adhesive waterproofing sheet through basic properties test and proposed quality standard revised bill in KS F 4934.

  • In this study on the appliable Asphalt sheet of monolithic and inorganic matter waterproofing ,Fing material using of field because of problem of complex waterproofing sheet. Before this cement polymer modified waterproof coating and appliable asphalt sheet of monolithic whether have stability by method of construction about all style waterproofing that evaluate to new method of construction development naturally big emphasis put and try to approach. Did performance test item first at, as a result, drew by suitable thing in all KS items. This is considered to have more effective spot construction work because if means that have stability by material as well as method of construction.

  • There is a problem to be solved for improvement of durability and safety for concrete When the waterproofing and anticorrosive work of main concrete are design, the material a of construction need to be correctly applied to appropriate circumstance conditions. Epoxy mostly been used for concrete water tank structure. Lately, lots of subjects on adaption res in mortar for waterproofing and anticorrosive are under discussion. Then, we attempt to approach by evaluating and comparing every capabilities with waterproofing materials in this experiment. Capability evaluation items include the bond age and curing conditions, the bond strength after accelerated weathering test and fret impact resistance, a mount of water, seepage quan Through the experiment analysis, we found that waterproofingtity, drinking water chemicals resistance. and anticorrosive resin mortar used with glass fiber cloth, inorgar material is dominantly superior to other waterproofing materials. According to this paper, we suggest the resin mortar as a new surface treatment material water tank structure.

  • This study of concrete movement confronting a scope inspects the problems about the waterproofing method and leakage/repairment at present and research the mechanism with the variety of applying examples introducing adhesion and inflation using the flexible type of waterproofing and repairement and the subsititution method developed with polymer resign composite. The polymer resign transmited into adhesion or inflation materials under wet environment absorbs adjoining moisture, wraps impurities of concrete surface, get the waterproofing layer and concrete surface adhere toughly, reorganize the impaired waterproofing layer and get over the detachment of it from concrete surface.

  • The butt-joint system is widely used as the method of roof composite waterproofing system. However, there is stilll no objective research about proper distance, and proper structure associated with the performance in butt-joint system. In this research, we find proper distance and proper structure in butt-joint system through tensile strength test at joint, and comparative analyze with practical construction material of composite waterproofing sheet.

  • It is applied in the high quality equipment construction by introduction of this high duality treating technology (ozone treating, activated carbon treating, high quality oxidation treating, UV treating etc.)waterproofing or corrosion proof method caused secondary economy damage of operation discontinuance and high quality treating equipment for applying existent waterproofing method that corrosion proof ability (ozone resistance performance, chemical resistance etc.) and abrasion resistance performance by comprehension insufficiency of user and designer. Therefor, In this study, we will analyze problem of waterproofing and corrosion material of existing construction application by high quality treating, and measure physical performance change by various condition. It is required to waterproofing and corrosion system and application of the field valuation.

  • The need for this study must be considerable, as being activate of green roofs research that the organization and construction obtain access to more development technologies. Nevertheless, the green roofs system has begun to apply since 1980's, the green roofs technology was restricted to develop without verification of technologies such as a load or water leakage. There is a limit as urethane waterproofing to almost domestic waterproofing materials and methods of construction for general green roofs. The introduction of materials and methods of construction which are appropriated to property of green roofs could be a decisive factor in a long-range durability and economical maintenance cost, moreover. it support to variety construction system and organization. This present paper describes a necessity of waterproofing and root barrier system is one of the sub-organization based on green roofs construction. which have enormously large impact on the durability.
