강인한 비디오 워터마킹을 적용한 실시간 DVR 시스템의 설계 구현 (System Design and Realization for Real Time DVR System with Robust Video Watermarking)

  • 본 논문은 콘텐츠 보안을 위해 강인한 비디오 워터 마킹 알고리즘과 실시간 처리속도를 적용한 DVR시스템 설계 구현에 관한 연구이다. 강인한 비디오 워터마킹은 프레임내 공간영역삽입과 프레임간 삽입방법을 동시에 적용하고 영상 및 알고리즘을 실시간으로 처리하기 위해 64비트 4개의 전용DSP 프로세서 사용과 어셈블리 및 소프트 파이프라인 코드를 적용한다. 실험 결과 D1 영상에서 프레임 당 처리 시간이 움직임 60% 영상의 경우 약2.5ms 소요되었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 OOK-SS Watermarking기법을 LED 통신에 적용하여 위치정보 및 부가데이터 전송 및 복원이 가능한 LED-ID 식별기술을 제안하였다. LED 신호의 단극성 신호 특성상 Wateramrking용 확산코드로 기존의 양극성이 아닌 단극성 코드를 사용했으며, LED 신호에 확산코드를 이용한 Watermarking기법을 적용할 경우 영향력 평가 및 성능을 분석하고, LED-ID 위치인식을 위한 유용성을 입증하였다.

Optimization-based Image Watermarking Algorithm Using a Maximum-Likelihood Decoding Scheme in the Complex Wavelet Domain

  • Most existing wavelet-based multiplicative watermarking methods are affected by geometric attacks to a certain extent. A serious limitation of wavelet-based multiplicative watermarking is its sensitivity to rotation, scaling, and translation. In this study, we propose an image watermarking method by using dual-tree complex wavelet transform with a multi-objective optimization approach. We embed the watermark information into an image region with a high entropy value via a multiplicative strategy. The major contribution of this work is that the trade-off between imperceptibility and robustness is simply solved by using the multi-objective optimization approach, which applies the watermark error probability and an image quality metric to establish a multi-objective optimization function. In this manner, the optimal embedding factor obtained by solving the multi-objective function effectively controls watermark strength. For watermark decoding, we adopt a maximum likelihood decision criterion. Finally, we evaluate the performance of the proposed method by conducting simulations on benchmark test images. Experiment results demonstrate the imperceptibility of the proposed method and its robustness against various attacks, including additive white Gaussian noise, JPEG compression, scaling, rotation, and combined attacks.

확산스펙트럼 방식과 웨이브렛 변환을 이용한 적응적인 워터마킹 (Adaptive Watermarking Using Wavelet Transform & Spread Spectrum Method)

  • 디지털 워터마킹은 멀티미디어 컨텐츠(영상, 오디오, 비디오 등)에 비밀스러운 정보를 은닉시키는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 웨이브렛 변환과 확산스펙트럼 방법 그리고 웨이브렛 계수를 고려한 다중 임계치를 이용하여 시각적으로 인식 가능한 심벌을 삽입할 수 있는 새로운 워터마킹 방법을 제안한다. 워터마크 검출은 원 영상과 워터마크된 영상 모두를 삽입 시와 동일한 레벨로 웨이브렛 변환을 수행하고 워터마크를 삽입한 각 부대역간의 차신호를 이용하여 워터마크를 검출한다. 제안한 방법으로 여러 영상에 적용해 본 결과 우수한 영상의 화질을 얻을 수가 있었으며 JPEG 손실압축 뿐만 아니라 Resizing, LSB(Least Significant Bit) Masking, Filtering 등의 다양한 공격에서도 삽입한 심벌 워터마크를 쉽게 검출할 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, we proposed robust digital image watermarking based on modulation transfer function (MTF) of human visual system (HVS). Using the proposed method, robust watermarking is possible both in common image processing operations such as cropping and lossy compression and in geometrical transforms such as rotation, scaling, and translation, because it can embed watermark and template signal maximally using MTF of HVS. Experimental results show that the proposed watermarking method is more robust to several common image processing operations and geometrical transforms.

  • In this paper, we present a novel digital watermarking technique based on the concept of multiresolution decomposition and Human Visual System(HVS). Proposed watermarking is to embed watermark by quantization, that is to construct ‘perceptually lossless’quantization matrix, by using a quantization factor for each level and orientation and variance within a band. We compare our approach with another wavelet domain watermarking methods. Simulation results show the superior performance of robustness for variety image distortions.

  • In this paper, we propose a robust audio watermarking method. The proposed watermarking algorithm is composed of a psychoacoustic model to achieve perceptual transparency and spread spectrum technique to embed watermark. The watermark is embedded in each audio frame by adding a perceptually-shaped pseudo-random sequence. We demonstrate the robustness of the watermarking algorithm.

  • In this paper, we propose a hybrid watermarking algorithm for MPEG bitstream. Hybrid watermarking technique uses Spread Spectrum technique for I-frame and Motion Vector technique for P, B-frame. Thus, it enables all MPEG frame to be watermarked. By applying above technique, it is possible not only to protect intellectual property right but also to be robust to all kinds of attacks. And this scheme requires partial decoding of MPEG bitstream, so it can be applied to real time watermarking applications.

  • The use of digital imaging technique and digital contents based on internet has grown rapidly for last several years, and the needs of digital image protection become more important. for the purpose of copyright protection on digital image, the verification of authentication techniques like content authentication, ownership authentication, illegal copy and etc are needed. Digital watermarking, the invisible encryption technique to insert digital watermark into image, the sophisticated perceptual information should be used for providing transparency and robustness of images on watermarking process. In this paper, we implement the algorithm for preventing forged attack, ownership protection and authentication by transforming the wavelet algorithms in frequency domain in terms of human visual system.
