규조토를 함유한 올레핀계 폼의 기계적 물성 및 수분 제어 성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mechanical Properties and Moisture Control Performance of Diatomite filled Olefin Foams)

  • 여러 방면에서 사용되는 규조토를 이용한 제품은 수분흡수에 최적화되어 있지만 고경도, 가루날림, 거친 표면 느낌 등의 문제점을 지니고 있다. 이를 개선하기 위하여 경도가 낮고 탄성이 우수한 EVA (Ethylene vinyl acetate)를 이용하여 과량의 무기물을 첨가하여 수분 흡수 특성이 우수하면서도 저경도, 고탄성을 지니는 올레핀계 발포체를 제조하였다. 발포체의 수분 흡수 특성을 부여하기 위해 규조토를 첨가하였으며, 수분 흡수/건조 특성은 규조토의 함유량에 따라 약 10~15%의 수분 흡수율과 10~70%의 수분 건조율을 나타내었다. 본 연구를 통해 규조토가 첨가된 수분흡수형 올레핀계 발포체 제조가 가능하였으며, 발포체에 첨가된 규조토는 그 미세구조와 특징으로 인해 수분 흡수와 발산에 큰 영향을 끼친다는 것이 확인되었다.

  • Impregnating with quality silicone water repellent on the concrete surface is an effective method of protecting concrete. Quality silicone water repellent has been widely used in the engineering profession because of its desirable properties such as hydrophobicity, keeping concrete breathable and preserving the original appearance of the concrete. The companies in China that produce silicone water repellent are listed. Test methods in the specifications or standards about silicone water repellent in China are summed. The test methods relative to durability of concrete impregnated with silicone water repellent (such as resistant to chloride ion penetration, resistant to alkali, resistance to freezing and thawing and weatherability etc.) and the constructive quality (such as water absorption rate, impregnating depth and the dry velocity coefficient etc.) are compared and analyzed. The results indicate that there are differences among test methods relative to different specifications with the same index and therefore, confusion has ensued when selecting test methods. All test methods with the exception of the method of water absorption rate by using a Karsten flask are not non-destructive methods or conducted in a laboratory. Finally, further research on silicone water repellent during application is proposed.

Comparison of Agricultural Characteristics and Seed Quality for Suitable Natto Varieties

  • Natto is a soybean fermented food from Japan, which is made from steamed soybean, Bacillus natto and water. Demand of Natto has increased recently because it does not have smell compared to Cheonggukfang, which is Korean traditional fermented food. Currently, Pungsannamulkong is the most commonly used in Korea for Natto. Four candidate varieties of soybeans were investigated and compared in terms of Agronomic Traits, quality characteristics, hard seed rate, and water absorption rate in order to determine more suitable Korean soybean variety than pungsannamulkong. 'Haewon' had higher yield than other three varieties in Goesan-gun and Jinan-gun. The infected seed rate which affects soybean processing is higher in pungsannamulkong. 'Haewon' showed low 100 seed weight with 8.6 g in Goesan-gun and 9.5 g in Jinan-gun, which was the smallest of four soybean varieties. The water absorption rate was higher in 'Haewon' than in pungsannamulkong which is desirable characteristics for Natto process. The hard seed rate of pungsannamulkong was 6~7%, which is considered to be unsuitable to Natto process. The yield of Natto was significantly different for each variety. 'Haewon' showed the highest amino nitrogen content with 575.0 mg%. These results suggested that 'Haewon' can be considered as suitable candidates for yield and quality of Natto compared to pungsannamulkong.

  • 평판형 교반기를 사용하여 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol(AMP)가 용해된 methanol, ethanol, n-propanol, n-butanol, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, 및 propylene carbonate와 같은 극성 용매에서 이산화탄소($CO_2$)의 흡수속도를 측정하였다. $CO_2$의 흡수속도와 carbamate 생성 반응 메커니즘을 사용하여 기-액 불균일반응계의 빠른 반응영역에서 $CO_2$-AMP의 반응속도론을 해석하였으며 용매의 용해도 매개변수와 반응속도상수와의 상관관계를 제시하였다.

황금 엑스 유제의 생체이용률 (Bioavailability of Emulsion Containing Scutellariae Radix Extract)

  • The bioavailabilities of baicalin in water, oil, w/o and o/w emulsion were evaluated in rats. The dissolution rate of baicalin in o/w emulsion was smaller than those of w/o form in dilute hydrochloric acid solution (pH 1.2) and in PBS (pH 6.8). The absorption rate of baicalin from w/o emulsion was smaller than that of o/w emulsion in the different parts of rat intestine of the rats. Following oral administration in rats, the $C_{max}$ of baicalin from water phase, oil phase, o/w wand w/o emulsion were 2.11, 0.61, 1.57, and $1.35\;{\mu}g/ml$, respectively. The relative bioavailability of w/o emusion was 129 % when it was compared with water phase. This result suggests that the improvement of bioavailability for baicalin in w/o emulsion might be practically available.

건조분말 식품의 수분 특성에 관한 비교 연구 (Characteristics of Water Vapor Sorption Phenomena of Powdered Foods)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the water vapor permeability of packaging film, Al- foil laminated paper, and sorption properties of dehydrated and powdered foods. The results are as fellows. 1. Absorption rate of each products was greately affeoted by physicochemical properties of foods rather than initial moisture contents of the products. 2. The absorption rate of each products were in the order of freeze dried coffee, spray dried coffee, freeze drie4 ginseng extract, spray dried ginseng extract, ginger tea, black tea, citrus juice Powder and ssang wha tea. 3. Most of the products such as freeze dried coffee, spray dried coffee, freeze dried ginseng extract, ginger tea and black tea have shorter than a month of shelf life. 4. The stability of the products were greatly affected by its desorption properties than the degree of desorption of moisture. 5. Water vapor permeability of packaging materials which are laminated Al-foil with polythylene and glassin paper were mainly affected of thickness of Al-foil and polyethylene.

전기분해 방식에 의한 혼합산화제 소독 특성 평가 (Evaluation of Disinfection Characteristics for Mixed Oxidants Produced by Electro-chemical Method)

  • Disinfection characteristics of mixed oxidants produced by mean of electro-chemical method were evaluated. Inactivation rate of B. subtilis spore on the mixed oxidants were similar with that of chlorine. Based on the experimental results, activation energy of mixed oxidants and chlorine with B. subtilis spore at pH 8.3 were calculated as 30.8, $34.7kJ{\cdot}mol^{-1}$ respectively. UV absorption spectrum of both chlorine and mixed oxidants present similar. Molar extinction coefficients of chlorine and mixed oxidants at 292nm, which is maximum absorption wavelength of $OCl^-$ were 357, $377M^{-1}cm^{-1}$, respectively. Disinfectant decay rate and formation rate of THM in the S WTP filtrate also shows insignificant difference for both mixed oxidants and chlorine. In consequent, it was confirmed that high portion of chlorine presents in the mixed oxidants.

There is a purpose to present fundamental data, comparing and analyzing a phenomenon of aggregate's absorption following the rate of adding water, for using existing materials.

종실크기에 따른 수집 검정콩 수분흡수 및 알칼리 붕괴도 (Water Absorption and Alkali Digestibility by Seed Size in Local Black Soybean Collections)

  • 용도의 다양화로 수요가 증가하고 있는 검정콩의 우량 품종육성을 위한 유전자원으로 활용코자 수집 선발한 재래검정콩 28계통의 종실크기에 따른 형태, 수분흡수성 및 알칼리 붕괴도의 특성을 조사하였던 바 그 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 종실의 크기별 수분흡수는 5, 2$0^{\circ}C$의 낮은 온도에서는 소립종에서 낮았고 40, 6$0^{\circ}C$의 높은 온도에서는 소립, 중립, 대립종간 차이가 없었다. 2. 검정콩의 수분흡수는 종실 크기에 따른 차이는 없었으며, 침지온도 2$0^{\circ}C$ 이하에서는 10시간 이후에, 4$0^{\circ}C$에서는 10시간, 6$0^{\circ}C$에서는 4시간 정도에서 평형상태에 도달하였다. 3. 100립중은 종실의 길이, 폭, 두께와는 각각 고도의 유의한 정의 상관을 나타내었으며, 그 중 종실폭과 상관이 가장 높았다. 4. 알칼리 붕괴도는 입중이 무거울수록 높았으며, 100립중, 종실길이, 종실폭, 종실두께, 종실배꼽 길이와는 각각 고도의 유의한 정의 상관을 나타내었다. 5. 알칼리 붕괴도는 녹색 자염계통이 황색 자엽계통보다 높았다.
