The Marine Environment Observation Information System supplies oceanographic information elements such as water temperature, chlorophyll, float, etc. based on satellite images to consumers. The data produced by the Korean marine environmental observatories are located in the coastal areas of Korea. But if the range is too far from a particular area of interest, due to distance or spatial constraints, the accuracy and up-to-dateness of the data can not be relied upon. Therefore, it is necessary to perform fusion and complex operation to solve the difference between the field observation and the marine satellite image. In this study, we develop a system that can process marine environmental information in the user's area of interest in the form of layered character (numeric) information considering the readability and light weight rather than the satellite image. In order to intuitively understand satellite image information, we characterize (quantify) the marine environmental information of the area of interest and we process the satellite image band values into layered characters to minimize the absolute amount of transmitted / received data. Also we study modular location-based interest information service method to be able to flexibly extend and connect interested items that diversify various observation fields as well as application technology to serve this.

High temperature superconducting coated conductor has a structure of ///. The buffer layer consists of multi-layer, this study reports the deposition method and optimal deposition conditions of YSZ(Yttria-stabilized zirconia) layer which plays a important part in preventing the elements of substrate from diffusing into the superconducting layer. YSZ layer was deposited by DC reactive sputtering technique using water vapor for oxidizing deposited elements on substrate. To investigate optimal thickness of YSZ film, four YSZ/CeO$_2$/Ni samples with different YSZ thickness(130 nm, 260 nm, 390 nm, and 650 nm) were prepared. The SEM image showed that the surface of YSZ layer was getting to be rougher as YSZ layer was getting thicker and the growth mode of YSZ layer was columnar grain growth. After CeO$_2$ layer was deposited with the same thickness of 18.3 nm on each four samples, YBCO layer was deposited by PLD method with the thickness of 300 nm. The critical currents of four samples were 0, 6 A, 7.5 A, and 5 A respectively. This shows that as YSZ layer is getting thicker, YSZ layer plays a good role as a diffusion barrier but the surface of YSZ layer is getting rougher.

Copper and zinc are well known elements with antibacterial effect. So in this research, Cu and Zn (CZ) nanofibers (NFs) were fabricated by electrospinning method using polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) for adjusting viscosity. The CZ/PVP precursor solutions were prepared with copper sulfate pentahydrate, and zinc acetate dihydrate. Distilled water was used for solvent and PVP was used to regulate the viscosity of precursor solution. The CZ/PVP NF composites were obtained by electrospinning method using the precursor solution. The average diameter of obtained CZ/PVP NFs was determined by optical microscopy using Motic image plus 2.0 program and was found to be 490 nm. The chemical environment of the obtained CZ/PVP NF composites was investigated with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). After heating the obtained CZ/PVP NF composites at 353 K, the solvent was removed. The characteristic C 1s, Cu 2p, and Zn 2p core level XPS peaks were observed. After calcination the CZ/PVP NF composites at 873 K in Ar environment for 5 hrs, PVP was decomposed at this temperature and CZ NF was obtained. This was confirmed by decreasing the intensity of C 1s.
The experimental study of the hull surface roughness on a developing turbulent boundary layer which exposed to a variety of operating environments were investigated by performing particle image velocimetry(PIV) in a circulating water channel. The Reynolds number based on the width of roughness was about Re=1000. the roughness elements used were periodically arranged two-dimensionally. the flow visualization, time-mean velocity fields and vorticity fields to measure the flow characteristics were obtained. The investigation shows that the vortex generation and its progress inside the walls. And the center of the vortex was located at the middle of the height of the surface roughness.
From a film esthetic point of view, this paper deals with all the sound elements which are speech, noise, and music for the signification of sound in Hitchcock's . The speech makes a mental image auditory through voice-over, and sometimes it has the indiscernibleness of life and death to be incarnate. This paper has demonstrated that the noise also can mark punctuation-narrative boundary besides visual techniques pointed out by Metz, and it cites the sound of falling water which completes shower scene, offsetting a scream in audience's mind. In the music, desire and oppression are symbolized and they are making a dissonance. Upon occasion, the coexistence of two chords represents duplicity in Norman-mother. Also, the music may disappear in the way of silence, being mummified in the time paused. Thus, the common filmic signification of sounds in can be called reconceptualization of the image.
In this paper, the fracture characteristics of concrete specimens with different notch depths under three-point flexural loads are studied by finite element and fracture mechanics methods. Firstly, the concrete beams (the size is 700×100×150 mm) with different notch depths (a=30 mm, 45 mm, 60 mm and 75 mm respectively) are tested to study the influence of notch depths on the mechanical properties of concrete. Subsequently, the concrete beams with notch depth of 60 mm are loaded at different loading rates to study the influence of loading rates on the fracture characteristics, and digital image correlation (DIC) is used to monitor the strain nephogram at different loading rates. The test results show that the flexural characteristics of the beams are influenced by notch depths, and the bearing capacity and ductility of the concrete decrease with the increase of notch depths. Moreover, the peak load of concrete beam gradually increases with the increase of loading rate. Then, the fracture energy of the beams is accurately calculated by tail-modeling method and the bilinear softening constitutive model of fracture behavior is determined by using the modified fracture energy. Finally, the bilinear softening constitutive function is embedded into the finite element (FE) model for numerical simulation. Through the comparison of the test results and finite element analysis, the bilinear softening model determined by the tail-modeling method can be used to predict the fracture behavior of concrete beams under different notch depths and loading rates.

The process of constructing coastal digital elevation model(DEM), for the 3 dimensional analysis, is composed by abstracting land layers for land elevation and water depth, reprojecting UTM, relocating geographical grid, and interpolating works. The geomorphic set of shallow sea, including tidal current, tidal zone deposition, and water depth distribution, was analyzed by eye search of Landsat TM image, masking of land zone, band combination and regression analysis. Some horizontal differences, between combined DEM and surveyed data of shallow sea, was corrected for analysis. Analyzed geomorphic elements are stream channel, alluvial fan, coastal terrace, tidal current. and shallow sea bank. Results of analysis present that transported fluvial materials influence tidal sedimentation, especially from Gahwacheon river, for the role of artificial draining flooding waters from Jinyang Reservoir, almost in the summer season. In the coastal area with less tidal current, more fine materials are deposited. The influence of currental deposition are higher on small pockets with west coast of well developed terraces. The lower skirt of alluvial fans developed into the tidal zone of shallow sea. Small pocket type bays are closed by coastal current, and less influenced from tidal deposition. The bank of Jinju Bay are developed originally from submerging of remnant erosional mountain ranges, and play on the role of trapping fine materials.
One of the concerns in micro fluidic valve designs is that of reverse direction leakage. This paper designs and fabricates a new fluidic valve to achieve zero leakage. The design uses flapper and nozzle elements. In the forward direction the working fluid pushes the flapper upward to allow flow. In the reverse direction, the flapper pushes against the orifice seat, and thus, no flow can be generated, unless the flapper or nozzle element breaks. The nozzle element fabrication involves fabricating an orifice by wet etching of (100) wafer, The flapper element fabrication involves $20{\mu}m$ deep patterning of the negative image of the flapper, followed by wet etching from backside. Flow experiments were conducted with DI water as the working fluid, and the results are compared to analytical predictions. The results show that the developed flapper-nozzle valve achieves a true diodic flow characteristic.

To achieve more accurate information from satellite image data, a research on a technique for mixed pixel ex-traction has been produced. The mixed pixels with only two land covers have been experimented. By analyzing canonical vector in canonical correlation classification, the mixed pixels have been classified. The ratio of the two canonical weighted values-the elements of canonical vector have been used as a threshold to discriminate mixed pixels. In case of the classification for the mixed pixels of bridge and water class in TM data before or after the 1st of September, the threshold for the optimal classification of the mixed pixels is 4.0. That is, if the ratio of the two canonical weighted values is less than 4.0, the pixel is a mixed pixel. Also, using the distribution of canonical weighted values, the constitution percentages of land covers within one mixed pixel can be approximately deducted. The accuracy of mixed pixel extraction for experimental area is 90% and quite acceptable. Conclusively, a technique for mixed pixel extraction by canonical vector analysis is effective.
In order to establish effective fishing ground environment equipment and artificial reef in coastal area, the methodology to select the most suitable area for artificial reef should be applied after analyzing the correlation between fishing ground environment and ocean environment. In this paper, thematic maps were prepared by using satellite remote sensing and GIS for the sea surface temperature, chlorophyll, transparency, the depth of sea water and the condition of submarine geologic which are considered as the most elements when selecting suitable area for artificial reef in Tong-Yong bay. Then, the most suitable area for artificial reef was selected by giving weight score depending on the suitable condition of this area and analyzing spatial data. The results showed it makes possible for this methodology, which selects the suitable area for artificial reef using satellite remote sensing and GIS, to manage the institution of artificial reef more entirely and efficiently through analyzing and visualizing.
