Experiments with the depressurization scheme have been carried out to investigate the dissociation characteristics of methane hydrates and the productivities of dissociated gas and water. From the experiments, it has been provided a determination of volume of gas produced and the progress of the dissociation front, as a function of time when hydrate is depressurized. 갯버들 근계의 토양 입자 해리 억제효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reduction of Soil Particle Dissociation Rate by the Root of 'Salix Gracilistyla')

  • The main purpose of this study was to verify the shore margin protection effect of the root system of Salix gracilistyla Miq. developed from direct sticking cuttings on wetland, focusing on the effect of the root system reducing soil particle dissociation rate in water. The soil dissociation rate was examined through slaking tests with cylindric pure soil column at maximum particle density and the same size column of root reinforced soil. The dry weight of remained soil was measured after 5, 10, 15, 30minutes and 1, 6, 12, 24, 48hours inundation. As results, the soil particles began to dissociate severely at 10 minutes and only 10% of soil particles were left after 25minutes inundation. The stable slope angle of pure soil was $36^{\circ}$after 24 hours. On the other hand, the columns of root reinforced soil were stable even after 24hours, being dissociated only 7.2% of soil particles. So, it was revealed that the root system was very effective materials protecting more than 80% of soil particle from dissociation in inundation.

  • This paper is investigated about the effect of carrier gas type and the humidity for generating hydrogen gas. The vibration of the water surface is more powerful with increasing applied voltage. In this experimental reactor which is made of multi-needle and plate, the maximum acquired hydrogen production rate is about 3500 ppm. In the experimental result of generating hydrogen gas by non-thermal plasma reactor, the rate of generating hydrogen gas is different with what kind of carrier gas is. We used two types of carrier gas, such as $N_2$ and He. $N_2$ as carrier gas is more efficient to generate hydrogen gas than He because $N_2$ is reacted with $O_2$, which is made from water dissociation. In comparison with water droplet by humidifier and without water droplet by humidifier, the generation of hydrogen gas is decreased in case of water droplet by humidifier. That is the result that the energy for water dissociation is reduced on water surface because a part of plasma energy is absorbed at the small water molecular produced from humidifier.

  • The dissociation constant of erythrosine in the mixed solvent systems of water-alcohols and water-acetone at various pH and in concentration media were determined by spectrophotometric method. Methanol, ethanol, and acetone were employed as solvents and studied the changes of pK values of erythrosine according to the kind and change of concentration of organic solvent which is mixed into water solution. The effect of organic solvent on pK is negligible at 40% while in the case of above 40% mixing, it is not negligible.

Thiocatechol 및 그 유도체의 합성과 산해리 정수 (Synthesis of Thiocatechols and Acid Dissociation Constants)

  • New chelating ligands, thiocatechol and p-chlorothiocatechol, have been synthesized and the acid dissociation constants were determined by potentiometric method in 50% dioxane-water; $pK_1 \;and\; pK_2$ were 7.28, 10.97 for thiocatechol and 6.37, 10.22 for p-chlorothiocatechol, respectively. Color reactions with various metal ions were studied. It was found that the above ligands are specific for Bi(III), Mo(VI) and W(VI) as an analytical reagent.

  • 2,3,4-Pentanetrionetrioxime was synthesized from 2,4-pentanedione(or acetylacetone) and its acid dissociation constants were determined in 50%(v/v) dioxane-water solvent mixture at $20{\pm}0.1^{\circ}C$. The color reactions of the ligand with divalent metal ions, Fe(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Cu(II), and Mn(II) were studied.

  • The data pf dosspcoatopm cpmstamts for aliphatic amines and quaternary ammonium-methylorange salts are based on the electrosatic theory of conductance. Dissociation constants for primary amines nad quaternary ammonium-methylorange salts (1$\times$10$^{-5}$~1$\times$10$^{-3}$ M) in nitrobenzene solution or water solution was evaluated from the relation of the concentration and the electric conduction and the electric conductance at $25^{\circ}C$ Plots of ${\delta}C$ against reciprocal conductance were linear ; hence the center-to-center distance of this salt was 1.75 $\AA$ in nitrobenzene solution.

  • The dissociation constant of phenol red indicator in mixed solvents was studied. Methanol and ethanol were employed as solvents and studied the changes of pK values of indicator according to the kind and concentration of organic solvent which is mixed into water solution. The effect of methanol solvent on pK is negligible at 40%, 60% and 80% mixing. While in the case of ethanol, the effect of above 40% mixing is not negligible.

고압 시차 주사 열량계를 이용한 단일 객체 가스 하이드레이트의 해리 엔탈피 측정 (Measurements of Dissociation Enthalpy for Simple Gas Hydrates Using High Pressure Differential Scanning Calorimetry)

  • 가스 하이드레이트는 고압 및 저온의 조건에서 주체 분자인 물의 수소 결합에 의해 형성된 격자 내로 저분자량의 기체 분자가 포집되어 있는 고체의 함유 화합물이다. 심해저 퇴적층과 영구 동토지역에 매장되어 있는 막대한 양의 천연가스 하이드레이트는 미래 청정 에너지원으로 주목받고 있다. 우리나라의 경우에도 동해안 울릉분지 부근 심해저에 천연가스 하이드레이트의 부존 가능성을 확인하였다. 이러한 심해저 천연가스 하이드레이트의 개발/생산을 위해서는 천연가스 하이드레이트의 상평형, 생성/해리 속도 등의 물리적 특성 뿐만 아니라 해리와 관련된 열물성에 대한 정보가 매우 중요하다. 따라서, 이 논문에서는 고압 마이크로 시차 주사 열량계를 이용하여 천연가스 하이드레이트의 주성분인 메탄, 에탄, 프로판 하이드레이트의 해리 엔탈피를 측정하였다. 메탄 하이드레이트의 경우 92.3 bar의 압력 조건에서 502.1 J/g-water, 437.3 J/g-hydrate, 54.2 kJ/mol-gas의 해리 엔탈피 값을 가졌으며, 해리 온도는 285.66 K이었다. 에탄 하이드레이트의 경우 18.7 bar에서 해리 엔탈피는 534.5 J/g-water, 438.8 J/g-hydrate, 73.8 kJ/mol-gas이었으며, 이때 해리 온도는 283.85 K이었다. 마지막으로 프로판 하이드레이트의 경우 압력이 3.2 bar일 때 해리 엔탈피는 417.2 J/g-water, 363.8 J/g-hydrate, 127.7 kJ/mol-gas 임을 알 수 있었고, 276.30 K에서 해리되는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 해당 압력에서 각 기체의 가스 하이드레이트의 해리 엔탈피 측정과정에서 얻은 해리 온도를 문헌상의 가스 하이드레이트 3상(하이드레이트상(H)-물상(Lw)-기상(V)) 평형 데이터와 비교해 보면 거의 유사함을 알 수 있었다. 따라서, 고압 마이크로 시차 주사 열량계를 이용하여 가스 하이드레이트의 정확한 해리 엔탈피 측정 뿐만 아니라 가스 하이드레이트의 3상 평형도 함께 측정 가능함을 확인하였다.
