This paper presents an active noise control (ANC) algorithm using orthogonalization property of Walsh transform. Conventional ANC algorithm known as filtered-x LMS(FXL) algorithm has a problem of decreasing convergence speed in FIR adaptive filters operating in colored noise environments. Walsh transform decompose an input signal into a set of N uncorrelated components and reduce eigenvalue spread of autocorrelation matrix of input sequences. Computer simulations show that proposed (FXW) algorithm is superier to FXL in convergence speed.

We introduce an arbitrary waveform generation method and its H/W implementation case based on Rademacher and Walsh function. According to the orthogonal and periodic features of Rademacher and Walsh function, simple calculations can generate arbitrary waves with affordable logics. We implemented an FPGA-based AWS using above two functions, and verified. HDL simulation shows the proposed idea can draw desired analog test waveforms very fast, and its H/W size is promising to Built-Out Self-Test(BOST) logics for AI ICs.

we propose the Walsh-Hadamard Transform adaptive filter with time-varying step size. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evealuated in system identification where computer simulations are performed for both time-invariant and time-varying system. It is shown that the proposed algorithm produces good results compared with similar algorithms under different conditions, particularly in case of time-varying circumstance.

본 논문에서는 차세대 이동통신분야에서 고속의 데이터 전송과 무선 환경극복을 위해 사용되는 OFDM 시스템에서 전송되어지는 신호들의 PAPR(Peak-to-Average Power Ratio)를 감소시키는 방안을 제시한다. PN 시퀀스로 쓰이는 두 개의 직교 시퀀스, 즉 Walsh-Hadamard 시퀀스와 Golay complementary 시퀀스의 PAPR 성질을 살펴보고 그 결과를 보인다. 즉, 상대적으로 적은 채널사용자일 때 Walsh-Hadamard 시퀀스는 매우 큰 PAPR를 가지며, 반면 Golay complementary 시퀀스는 이론 값에 근접한 안정된 상태를 보인다. 이 두 시퀀스의 장단점을 이용하여 채널사용자 수에 따른 직교 시퀀스의 결정으로 OFDM 시스템의 PAPR를 줄이는 방법을 제안하고 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 그 감소효과를 검증한다.

This paper is discussed to prepard reference data as a bassic study for Hangeul Character recognition and to extract 2 - Dtransform Korean Charater Image, The 1959 Hangeul Characters is established to form the total 170patterns of 17 formats classified by the initial soun, middle sound and terminal sound and prossessed the 2-D Korean Character Image. Using Superpostion theormm, we are applied to recognition Algorithm. For 50's Hangeul, the recognition efficiency is calculated by computer simulation.
