Polycarbosilane was synthesized from the pyrolysis of polydimethylsilane, which is dechlorinated from dimethyldichlorosilane. The pyrolysis temperature was varied at 280-480$^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours. FT-IR, FT-NMR and GPC measurement were studied on the residue inside the reaction crucible and viscous solution inside the cooling zone respectively. From the viscous solution in the cooling zone at 420$^{\circ}C$, the synthesis of polycarbosilane wa well detected.

The mechanical and physical properties of zinc borate (ZB)-modified oriented strandboard (OSB) from southern wood species were investigated in this study. OSB panels treated with ZB were not significantly weaker than the untreated samples in terms of specific modulus of elasticity (SMOE) and specific modulus of rupture (SMOR). ZB showed the negative effect on specific internal bond (SIB) strength, since some of ZB would persist as a powder state on the flake surfaces, thereby reducing the bonding efficiency of the adhesive. The ZB level did not show significant effect on thickness swelling (TS). ZB-modified OSB showed the suitable mechanical and physical properties for the structural wood composites.

본 연구는 유산균(Lactobacillus fermentum, Lab. acidophilus, Lab. brevis)과 효모(Candida kefyr, Cryptococcus albidus, Pichia ohmeri)등이 주요 균총인 티벳버섯 배양액에서 crude EPS를 분리하여, 로타바이러스의 MA-104 세포감염 억제효과를 측정하였다. 분리된 crude EPS는 0.0026${\sim}$0.363%의 농도에서 MA-104 세포에 대해 독성효과가 없었다. 로타바이러스 Wa, S2, YO의 MA-104 세포 감염에 대해 EPS 0.0026%의 농도에서는 9.11${\sim}$20.06%의 억제율을 보였고, EPS 0.33%의 농도에서는 23.69${\sim}$38.09%의 억제율을 보였다.

점토광물은 자연 산출되는 광물로써 양이 풍부하고 가격이 저렴하여 여러 가지 산업자원으로써 오래전부터 다양하게 활용되어 왔다. 전통적인 주요 활용분야로는 제지 및 코팅 산업의 충진제, 내화재, 세라믹, 유리섬유, 시멘트 등에 90% 이상이 사용되어왔다. 최근에야 고무, 플라스틱 및 페인트의 물성 강화용 충진제로, 넓은 표면적을 활용한 촉매제로 일부 사용되고 있지만 대부분 판상용 점토광물을 대상으로 하고 있다. 고령토가 국내 생산 주요 품목에 들어가지만 그 비중은 2014년 기준 1.9%로 낮으며, 그나마 자급율도 77% 수준이라 수입에 의존하고 있다. 생산되는 고령토의 양이 매년 감소하고 있는 추세이며, 2014년 기준 고품질인 Wa와 Wb의 생산량이 각각 600 톤과 227 톤으로 미미한 수준이며 P급이 4.1만 톤 수준이라 부가가치가 매우 낮은 상품 중의 하나로 보인다. 다행히 우리나라에서 생산되는 고령토의 많은 부분이 할로이사이트 계열 고령토이고, 할로이사이트의 독특한 나노튜브 형태는 신소재 개발과 더불어 부가가치가 높은 새로운 활용분야를 개척하기 아주 적절한 광물이어서 그 특성과 산업적 활용 특성을 중심으로 최신 연구동향과 활용분야를 소개하고자 한다.

This study was conducted to derive optimal design floods by Gerneralized Extreme Value(GEV) and Weibull-3 distributions for the annual maximum series at ten watersheds along Han,Nagdong, Geum, Yeongsan and Seomjin reiver systems. Adequency for the analysis of flood data used in this study was established by the tests of Independence. Homogeneity , detection of Outlines, L-moments. Design flood sobtaine dby /methods of Moments and L-Moments using different methods for plotting positions in BEV and Weibull-3 distributions were compared by the Relative Mean Errors(RME) and Root MEan Square Errors(RMSE). The result wa found that design floods derived by the L-moments using the other formulas for plotting positions from the viewpoint of Relative Mean Errors and Root Mean Square Errors.

이 논문은 1년전 우리나라를 방문한 바 있었던 미국 예일대학교 임학대학 머어겐 박사가 강연한 것이다. 머어겐 교수는 수목생리, 번식임목 육종 등을 전공한 국제적으로 유명한 분이고 예일대하교 임과대학 학장을 오랫동안 역임한바 있으며, 현재 그 대학의 교수로 재직중이다. 예일대학교 임과대학의 원래명칭은 "임업및 환경과학대학" (school of Forestry and Environment studies)이다. 이전의 이름은 간단히 임과대학이였으나 환경문제가 크게 대두되고 또 환경문제는 삼림과 임학과 밀접한 관련이 있었기 때문에 이와같이 새로운 이름이로 바꾸어 환경과학, 자연자원에 대한 내용을 강화하기에 이른 것이다. 머어겐 교수는 이름난 석학이고 그 영향력이 크다. 따라서 이 논문의 내용은 이 방면의 관심과 소식을 피력해주는 것으로 우리가 읽어서 깊이 음미할 필요가 있다고 본다.

A lot of individual ginseng plants were selected in the farmer's fields to develop new ginseng varieties with desirable traits. Among them, a promising line has been developed through comparative cultivation of several lines selected with pure line separation of local raced. It was then designated as "KC (denotes Korean Ginseng)" and tested in the regional yield and adaptation trials for 10 years. KG lines grew vigorously after 4 years of age. Especially, KG 102 line arson운 them showed traits of multiple and short stems. As for the root characters, the length of taproot of KG 101 line was longer than that of local race, Jakyung-jong, or other lines ailed the root weight of KG 102 line waIn 15 % higher than that of local race. In general, KG 101, KG 103, KG 104, and Hwangsauk-jong had good root shape. Total amount of ginsenosides of ginseng taproot was the highest in KG 103 line than in local race and other lines. In these studies, we, elected three superior lines, KG 101, KG 102, and KG 103, having characteristic of good root shape, high yield, and large amount of ginsenoside, respectively.

본 고찰은 일본복식 중 고소데(小袖)의 역사와 복식문양의 의미를 알아보고자 했다. 현재 입고 있는 기모노의 원형은 헤이안(平安)시대 상류층에서 착용되었던 고소데에서 비롯되며 오닌(應人)의 난 이후 모든 계층이 입는 복식이 되었다. 원래 아무 장식이 없는 속옷이었던 고소데는 겉옷이 되어감에 따라 점차 화려한 장식이 생기게 되었고 하나의 예술작품으로 완성되어 갔다. 고소데의 문양에는 다양한 일본문화의 상징이 나타나 있다. 자연에서부터 일상생활 용품, 전설, 문학에 이르기까지 풍부한 소재를 일본 특유의 고유함과 예술적인 감성으로 표현했다.

광역보정시스템은 기존의 NDGPS 방식과 달리 GPS 측정치 오차를 기준국을 기준으로 스칼라량으로 계산하지 않고, 전리층 지연 오차의 경우 전리층 분포 맵을 생성하고 위성관련오차의 경우 4차원(x, y, z, t) 보정정보를 생성하게 된다. 이러한 특성으로 인해 광역보정시스템은 기존의 NDGPS 방식보다 적은 수의 기준국으로 보다 넓은 지역을 커버할 수 있고 광역보정사용자는 기준국과의 거리와 관계 없이 균일하고 우수한 수준의 보정정보 및 무결성 정보를 제공받을 수 있게 된다. 본 논문에서는 광역보정시스템 구축에 필요한 핵심 기술 중 하나인 전리층 지연 오차 추정 알고리듬에 대해 설명하였다. 기준국 측정치를 이용해 전리층 분포 맵을 생성하기 위해 핵심적인 단계인 위성 및 기준국 수신기 IFB(Inter-Frequency Bias) 제거 방법에 대해서 설명하고 격자 알고리듬을 활용한 전리층 맵 생성방법에 대해서 설명하고 그 결과를 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인하였다.
