Speech Recognition Interface in the Communication Environment (통신환경에서 음성인식 인터페이스)

  • This study examines the recognition of the user's sound command based on speech recognition and natural language processing, and develops the natural language interface agent which can analyze the recognized command. The natural language interface agent consists of speech recognizer and semantic interpreter. Speech recognizer understands speech command and transforms the command into character strings. Semantic interpreter analyzes the character strings and creates the commands and questions to be transferred into the application program. We also consider the problems, related to the speech recognizer and the semantic interpreter, such as the ambiguity of natural language and the ambiguity and the errors from speech recognizer. This kind of natural language interface agent can be applied to the telephony environment involving all kind of communication media such as telephone, fax, e-mail, and so on.

  • The purpose of the Delphi technique is to elicit information and judgments from participants to facilitate problem-solving, planning, and decision-making. It does so without physically assembling the contributors. Instead of it, information is exchanged via mail, FAX, or email. This technique is designed to take advantage of participants' creativity as well as the facilitating effects of group involvement and interaction. It is structured to capitalize on the merits of group problem-solving and minimize the liabilities of group problem-solving. In this paper, we design and implement delphi system using instant messenger.

  • Recently the harmonic generation has deteriorated the quality of electricity and affected the performance on the electrical installation including personal computer, fax, community devices and so on. Some studies of harmonic affects in diagnosis and the cause of accident has not done by the experimental data of harmonic source but merely by presumption according to qualitative analysis. So, in order to research the harmonic affect on the electrical installation according to quantitative analysis and gather reliable data over and over again, it is necessary to develop an Harmonic power source which is capable of generating some harmonics. In this paper, we described about realization of Harmonic power source control module which can produce and added harmonics for the analysis due to harmonic effects.

  • E-commerce has not only brought about a great change in the way we exchange goods and services but also revolutionized the way we handle business transactions. In addition, it has a significant influence upon the present business structure, and most of firms in service industry as well as manufacturing are considering adopting E-commerce in a serious manner. Most vessels purchase merchandises through a number of shipping agents. As the amount of harbor materials increase, the number of vessels and their navigation frequency also increase. As a result, the amount of procurement for ships has increased. Traditional means such as telephone and fax to handle ever-increasing harbor transaction, however, has proved to be very time-consuming and cost ineffective. Therefore, people are starting to look for more effective ways. In this paper, an internet-based scheme of B2B transaction is proposed to handle procurement problem between shipping agency and shipping company, and between vessel and suppliers as a more effective approach to streamline such problems. We extract problems of shipping agency through task-analysis and present a scheme that performs decision making and procurement as a system agent with brokering structure. Purchaser and supplier are offered material information rapidly and task loads are minimized by the scheme. Also, the system can support decision making of purchasing goods, and information is shared among purchaser, supplier and system through the system interface.

  • The development of mobile communication technology is transforming the market of mobile communication devices, which is used to be merely for simple communication, into the one which offers features of personal digital assistant (PDA), fax communication and Internet access. Unlike a mobile phone which comes out as a complete package and whose functions cannot be changed, a smart phone can be upgraded by its user, adding or removing apps as he pleases. OS's of smart phones are iOS-based Apple, Google Android, Window Mobile, and others. Due to its convenience and powerful features, many people use smart phones its high price. On the other hand, consumer complaints are rising on poor A/S for occasional malfunction. This study analyzes how A/S cases can be classified into groups according to quality factors. We evaluate factors such as consumer impression and consumer satisfaction. By dual quality evaluation using KANO method, we would like to show the different A/S strategy for smart phones, compared with mobile phones.

  • It is a very important to manage inventory quickly and accurately in Refrigerated commercial warehouses in which a lot of logistics are often shipping and receiving. Because most of systems for managing refrigerated warehouses consist of COBOL, it will be raised maintenance costs. There is no service for consignees who are consumer of refrigerated warehouses and they use only a fax or a phone for orders. In this paper, we design a mobile framework based on smart phones and supporting a variety of value-added services which are fit consignees, solving problem of outdated legacy systems and no services for consignees. We also implement the mobile framework which is consists of the JSP server and the android clients.

  • VoiceXML is a standard dialog mark-up language for the neat generation voice applications. The current VoiceXML 1.0 specification is silent on who place outbound calls for push-based voice applications. The push-barred voice applications become very important in modern information systems such as CRM. In this paper, we design and implement an extended VoiceXML platform that supports both inbound and outbound voice information services. We also extend the VoiceXML DTD so as to be able to inbound/outbound fax based on Call Control Requirements of W3C.

A Study of Home-visit Care Agencies' Perceptions and Attitudes toward Home and Community Long-term care Agency Quality Assessment (HCLA-QA) Program (방문요양기관의 재가장기요양기관평가에 대한 인식 및 태도)

  • National Health Insurance Corporation initiated Home and Community Long-term care Agency Quality Assessment(HCLA-QA) program in 2010. This study aims to explore long-term care agencies' perceptions and attitudes toward HCLA-QA program, focused on the home-visit care agencies. Total 473 agencies completed the questionnaires(response rate 13.6%), using the e-mail and fax survey methods with high-capacity web-fax server of NHIC. On the results of this study, we found the agencies' different perceptions and attitudes on HCLA-QA program according to their quality ratings as QA results. Compared to the agencies with low quality ratings, the agencies with high quality ratings tend to have more time for preparation, better understandings about HCLA-QA program, more positive perceptions that quality indicators generally are valid, and more affirmative attitudes that the notifications of QA results are helpful for agencies. Our findings can be very useful for establishing strategies for improving the HCLA-QA program. The policy makers, the insurer, and the agencies need to consider the opinions of the agencies with high quality ratings as well as the ones with low quality ratings.

  • In this paper. we dIscussed wIth the ISDN numberIng system of Korea 2digIt of NDC(National Destination Code)is assigned to the common carrier indenttification and an other the service network identification code as conbining the flIst and second dIgIt. The last ot NDC is applicable to for each area code. Resulty. we become 10 digit number for toll system vice 7 digit for local numbering. It is satisfactory to CCITT recommandtion and also. We has been suggested that existing network the mobile. pagget, FAX, TELEX and public networks are able to be connetcted to the ISDN. Near the 1994. we guess that it is fully occupied with 7 digit number to the metropolitan area to solve this problem, after divide to 3 part provincial area southern. nothem and mid-Korea. We suggested that special number system are reorganized with the new and existing service numbers plan. Although, we don't deal with the SA of ISDN numbering systems. Resultly, know that we are to design efficiently number system as 3 digit code for ISDN/NSN.

  • Purpose: In this study, the actual situation of domestic firms vulnerable to industrial security competence will be discussed. And accordingly be discussed for effective response measures. Methods: Using a structured questionnaire by mail, fax, e-mail and fill method was used respondents. By the end of '10 R&D Center, which holds 15,247 companies(population) among the 95% level of confidence, tolerance ${\pm}3%$ p-level corporate type, sector, region extraction method stratified multi-level companies were investigated through the final 1529. Results: The average level of industrial security capabilities 43.8%(out of 100) is very weak, so urgent and positive response measures also need to be investigated sought. Conclusion: we propose the effective management framework and improvement plans to prevent illegal industrial leakage are to be made.
