콘덴서 런 단상유도전동기의 설계적 고찰

  • Designing the capacitor-run motor for balanced operation is accompanied with the excessive capacitor value and low capacitor terminal voltage of condenser. As a solution for this problems, It was reported the design by equal volt-ampere method. The running characteristics of capacitor-run motor by this method due to the balancing point selection, however, has a room to be studied further. This paper deals with the determination of the winding ratio and capacitor value of a permarient-split capacitor motor by balanced operation and equal volt-ampere method at the different load points. The analysis of the running characteristics of a motor and its designing method also presented for both cases. It concluded that the running characteristics due to the equal volt-ampere operation are very close to the balanced operation.

커패시터 전압균형 제어법을 이용한 양방향 스위치 모듈기반 7-레벨 인버터 (Bidirectional swtich module based 7-level inverter using capacitor voltage balancing control method)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존 직렬결합 커패시터 입력단을 갖는 7-레벨 인버터에 커패시터 전압균형 제어법을 적용하여 출력 전압의 중간레벨 구간이 제대로 형성되지 않는 문제점을 해결하고자 한다. 기존에 제시된 직렬결합 커패시터 입력단 구성을 갖는 7-레벨 인버터는 2개의 양방향 스위치모듈과 3개의 직렬 연결된 커패시터를 이용한 변형된 Cascaded H-bridge 인버터이다. 기존 논문에서는 입력 전압원으로부터 3개의 직렬 연결된 커패시터의 충전을 통해 레벨을 형성하는 과정에서 커패시터 전압불균형 문제를 해결하지 못하여 결국 출력전압레벨이 7-레벨에서 5-레벨로 감소하는 것을 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 세 개의 직렬결합된 커패시터중 중앙에 위치한 커패시터의 충 방전량을 조절하여 커패시터 전압불균형 문제를 해결한다. 제어법의 타당성은 PSIM 기반의 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 기존 스위칭 제어법과 비교하여 검증한다.

  • We are interested in this paper on the control of an electromechanical system consisting of a doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG), driven by a prime mover that can supply or extract mechanical power, e.g., a flywheel inertia, and an induction motor(IM). The stator of the Induction machine is connected to the stator of the generator whose rotor voltage is regulated by a bidirectional converter. The main interest of this configuration is that it permits a bidirectional power flow between the motor, which may operate in regenerative mode, and the generator We propose a passivity-based controller to regulate the motor mechanical speed. Since this kind of controllers achieve stabilization via energy balancing, regulation of the power flow in the system is naturally incorporated. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the main points of our paper.

Current Sharing Control Strategy for IGBTs Connected in Parallel

  • This work focuses on current sharing between punch-through insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) connected in parallel and evaluates the mechanisms that allow overall current balancing. Two different control strategies are presented. These strategies are based on the modification of transistor gate-emitter control voltage VGE by using an active gate driver circuit. The first strategy relies on the calculation of the average value of the current flowing through all parallel-connected IGBTs. The second strategy is proposed by the authors on the basis of a current cross reference control scheme. Finally, the simulation and experimental results of the application of the two current sharing control algorithms are presented.

  • In this paper, a multi-module selective battery equalizer for series-connected Li-ion battery pack is proposed. Selective Equalizer (SE) scheme achieves smaller volume and lighter weight than individual cell equalizer (ICE) by minimizing the part count of bulky circuit element. However, SE scheme shows slow balancing speed when the voltage imbalance simultaneously occurs in more than one cell. The proposed multi-module overcomes the problem by employing multiple power converters. Prototype hardware is implemented and experimented with 14Ah battery cells to validate the performance of the proposed equalizer.

  • Cascaded H-Bridge rectifier (CHBR) is a more attractive solution in traction application for its transformerless structure. Because of the currents of different cells are exactly the same one, it is a challenge job to regulate the voltages of cells with only one current controller. In this paper, a PI-based control scheme is presented to deal with the voltages balance issue in CHBR. To satisfy the demand of rectifier such as unity power factor and regulated output DC voltages, the proposed control scheme consists of two parts. One is for shaping the grid current waveform and regulating the sum of DC-link voltages of all the cells; the other one is for balancing DC-link voltages. The latter is more concerned in this paper and is discussed in detail especially. Simulations and experiments are carried on. The results verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

  • This paper proposes a new control scheme of lithium ion battery units based on single phase multi-level converter. In the DC/AC converter applications using battery storage system, it is necessary to control the balancing voltage of individual battery units for high efficiency utilization. Using the proposed control scheme, the DC/AC single phase converter system is applied. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme, computer simulation is accomplished. In the computer simulation, lithium-ion battery units and single phase multi-level converter system are modeled and carried out using Psim simulation program. It will be helpful for design and applications of energy storage system with lithium-ion battery.

  • 본 논문에서는 저압 직류 배전 시스템에 사용되는 3-레벨 NPC DAB 컨버터의 중성점 전압 제어를 위한 향상된 스위칭 알고리즘을 제안한다. 3-레벨 NPC DAB 컨버터는 구조상 정격전압 감소를 위해 중성점을 기준으로 DC-link 단에 두 개의 캐패시터가 사용되기 때문에 중성점으로 들어오는 전류에 불균형이 발생하며 중성점 전압이 흔들리는 문제점이 나타난다. 중성점 전압이 흔들릴 경우 불균형한 전압이 변압기에 형성되며 이로 인해 전류 Offset과 실효 전류의 증가에 따른 전력 손실증가 등 전체적인 컨버터의 동작에 악영향을 준다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 3-레벨 NPC DAB 컨버터의 동작원리 및 기존 스위칭 패턴을 분석하고, 향상된 스위칭 패턴을 적용시켜 중성점 전압을 제어하는 알고리즘의 타당성을 모의시험을 통해 검증하고자 한다.

  • In 3-phase 4-wire inverter, the unbalanced loads cause to increase the neutral current which brings the voltage deviation between the split dc-link capacitors to be larger. In order to solve this problem, a neutral leg is provided additively to the ordinary inverter circuit and the associated control methods are devised. This paper proposes a new neutral-leg controller based on a PR controller and shows relatively good performance even under unbalanced linear loads and nonlinear loads. The proposed control strategy illustrates its effectiveness under the various operating conditions through simulation works.

  • 기존의 단방향 동작만 고려한 인버터에서 반송파 기반 PWM 방식의 중성점 전압 제어기법을 양방향 동작의 인버터에 그대로 적용할 경우 역방향 동작에서 중성점 전압이 오히려 벌어지는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 구현이 간단한 반송파 기반 PWM 방식의 중성점 전압 제어기법을 양방향 인버터에 적용하여 인버터의 전류 방향에 상관없이 하나의 제어기로 구현된 제어기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 양방향 모드전환 시에도 끊김없는 제어가 가능하고 초기 동작과 무부하 동작에서도 중성점 전압의 불평형을 제거할 수 있다. 양방향 T-type 인버터를 제작하여 본 논문에서 제안한 제어기법을 검증 하였다.
