Most of crime occurrence in Korea is caused by ex-convict. Various correctional training programs support convicts to reform a criminal as a treatment program. This study is about the most crucial 'Correctional Industry Works Exhibition' that is hosted by the Ministry of Justice and supervised by Seoul Correctional Service and other related events. 'Correctional Industry Works Exhibition' divides into the convicts' works in prison, literary works and staffs' literary works. Based on the working experience as a judge for the last six years(2009~2014) and analysis of research cases, the writer grasps the problems that needs to be improved and suggests the strategies. In the future, 'Correctional Industry Works Exhibition' will be a festival for convicts and prison officers that communicates with the public and will vitalize the works in prison that will produce good products. Moreover, it can be expected to support the social reintegration of prisoners and repeated crime after released from prison.

Recently, the demand for three-dimensional spatial information has continuously been increasing, and especially, studies of indoor/outdoor spatial information or data construction have actively been conducted. However, utilization of spatial information does not universally spread to the private sector, but it is mostly used for the government offices. Thus, this study deals with the creation of three-dimensional right objects and the technique of expression to further vitalize the private sector, three-dimensional right objects, aiming to create and express three-dimensional right spaces in a particular system or open platform more conveniently. Unlike a plane text or apartment building used in existing maps was iconified and displayed simply, this study proposes a method of extracting data from the outer border of the building by the relevant level based on the existing structured three-dimensional building, a method of providing two-dimensional right spatial objects in XML, and expressing them as three-dimensional right objects efficiently. In addition, this study will discuss a method of creating right objects in a way in which an owner who was provided with a cross section of a building involves the direct detailed right objects in additional production or reproduction to utilize three-dimensional data (right objects) produced through this study.

An increasing number of transactions in the bilateral trade between Korea and China rely on collection and remittance, resulting in an increase in exporters' demand for trade financing. Therefore, there is a need to vitalize forfaiting transactions using drafts or promissory notes, which are based on the collections. In the forfaiting transactions, exporters transfer a payment claim to forfaiters on a non-recourse basis through a without recourse endorsement. However, forfaiters do not know importers' creditworthiness and ability to repay drafts or promissory notes; thus, they need a bank aval as a means of credit support. In forfaiting using aval, the drafts or promissory notes are transferred internationally. However, there is no internationally unified law that regulates drafts and promissory notes, and the governing laws related to such drafts and promissory notes do not accept the "principle of party autonomy." Therefore, there is no other choice but to apply the laws of a certain country, in the event of any dispute relating to such drafts or promissory notes. This paper examined forfaiting using aval from the comparative law perspective, focusing on the "Law of China on Negotiable Instruments." The results of this study may to provide businesses involved in international trade with practical guidance and assistance when using forfaiting with aval, especially in trade with China.

Purpose - The purpose of this research was to suggest purchasing decision factors through understanding the context of purchasing behavior and to figure out variables related to purchasing decision, purchasing cognition, and attitude. Research design / data / methodology - By random sampling, 200 consumers who are over 20, have purchased Digital·home appliance on TV home shopping, and have lived in the Seoul area were chosen as sample subjects. Questionnaires data were obtained from all subjects by self-administration method. Results - Result of analysis could be summarized as following. Analysis of the cognition of digital/home appliance product features, and influence of digital/home appliance product feature to purchasing intention are presented in the following order; price (3.50), diversity (3.10), brand (3.00). Also, analysis of the cognition of TV home shopping feature and influence of TV home shopping feature to purchasing of digital/home appliance are presented in the following order; awareness (3.63), safety of delivery (3.38), safety of transaction (3.28), product test (3.27). Conclusions - Purchasing attention of TV home shopping features presented difference in awareness, safety of delivery, safety of transaction, and product testing factors. In order to vitalize home shopping, impossibility of quality confirmation should be overcome and reinforcement of brand power should be considered.

Domestic paid broadcasting market is largely classified into cable TV, satellite broadcasting and IPTV. Latest starter IPTV began its commercial service in 2009 and reached 10 million subscribers in August 2014 after 6 years of service. It has been growing rapidly by increasing more than 500 thousand subscribers every quarter and has taken its place firmly as one of core domestic paid broadcasting platforms, second only to cable TV. Even with this quantitative growth, 3 major IPTV companies are still running deficit, attracting attention to issue of the vitalization of IPTV business based on qualitative growth. This study draws out revitalizing and hindering factors of Korean IPTV industry through a case study on 'A' corporation which is leading domestic IPTV market and exploratory study based on interviews with experts and, by developing influencing factors into Causal Loop Diagram through system dynamics research methodology, draws out core issues in vitalization of domestic IPTV industry and suggests alternatives. Therefore, it is expected that this study will provide more diverse practical implications than preceding studies which drew out one-dimensional issues and alternatives and help vitalize Korean IPTV industry by minimizing negative effects and maximizing positive ones.

There is a growing awareness about the role of the board of directors in decision making, which is crucial to vitalize board activities in Korean firms. Given the academic and social needs, the current study is designed to identify the relationship between board independence and the board involvement of directors, highlighting the important aspects of information provision from diverse channels and information sharing among external directors. In this study, I include not only traditional variables to address the structural independence of the board but also the information provision and information sharing variables to explain how external directors, on average, are involved in board decisions. The research results from 136 Korean business samples show positive relationships between board independence and board involvement, but the influence of information provision and sharing proves to be significant in increasing the level of the board involvement of external directors. These findings suggest that active communication and information sharing among external directors, as well as an independent structural design for the board of directors, are important factors to improve the level of board involvement. Based on these results, the current paper provides theoretical and practical implications for corporate governance and knowledge management. Future research directions and limitations are also discussed.

The purpose of this study was to set and analyze the feasibility and survey of the Hanok(The traditional Korean style house) housing complex project within Seoul metropolitan area. The results of this study were as follows. First of all, a survey was carried out to find out the optimum Hanok style. The survey showed that many people chose a frond and back yard garden as a merit of Hanok and pointed out the weak crime prevention as a weakness of Hanok. The optimum size for a Hanok was from $264m^2$ to $330m^2$ and living space was from $100m^2$ to $132m^2$. And people considered about 120% of what the apartment sells for as the reasonable price of a Hanok. Based on the survey, this study planned a Hanok housing complex on a lot that has competitive price and analysed the feasibility of the housing plan. The result was that Hanok's construction cost per $3.3m^2$ to be a marketable product has to be below about 6 million Won. As a result, the construction cost-saving through the advanced technology and planning to meet the changing customers' needs are needed to vitalize Hanok's supply.

To vitalize the terrestrial DMB market, we introduce a personalized DMB(PDMB) service model based on metadata, especially DMB ECG XML standardized by TTA, under the convergence of broadcasting and telecommunications. Also we introduce the personalized DMB service system developed to validate the conformance of DMB ECG XML standard and the usefulness of DMB ECG service. The personalized DMB service system is described in details from the authoring stage to the consumption stage of the contents. The results of experimental tests for the personalized DMB service system are also introduced in this paper. We finally address the possibility of making successful personalized DMB services in mobile multimedia broadcasting market.

Urban-to-rural migration for farming has recently emerged as a new way to vitalize rural economies in a fast-aging rural Korea. In this paper, we analyze the 2013 data of returning farmers with statistical network methods. We identify urban to rural migration hubs with centrality measures and find migration trends based on regional clusters with similar features via statistical network models. We also fit a latent distance model to investigate the role of distance in migration.

Recently the concentration of fine dust and ultra fine dust becomes so bad, which seriously threatens the health and even the life of people. So, government started to investigate several ways to reduce the amount of fine dust and ultra fine dust. From a few years ago it has been known that ships anchored at port emit a lot of pollution and seriously affect air quality of neighboring cities. To reduce the pollution emitted by ship AMP (Alternative Maritime Power Supply) has been proposed, which uses the electricity instead of bunker C oil or diesel. Many developed countries already installed AMP to improve air quality in port area. Korea is in the stage of planning to install AMP at port. However, there are many complicated problems to be handled before AMP installation. Due to huge initial cost and long period of construction ship owner and habour operating company are reluctant to AMP installation. And there are serious technological difficulties in constructing AMP in existing harbour. Lack of AMP core technology and operational difficulties of AMP are also big challenges to be conquered. In this study SWOT/AHP method is used to find strategic and efficient ways to handle above complicated challenges and then to vitalize the AMP installation.
