Motion graphic is also developing into its own genre in graphic design by establishing individual industrial fields. images and graphics but also recognize even motions and sounds as communication elements delivering a message. Nevertheless, web communication designers have yet to experimentally test the visual motion priniciples or the audio sound expressions in terms of technology. If the dance are used, they may be new communication approaches in the age of multi-media, which allows for communication of visual and audio information or images. With such conceptions in mind, this study was aimed at reviewing the structural relationship between visual motion principles of the kinetic and the sound images to combine the audio and video effects. To this end, the basic structure of dance and music were substituted into the dance to determine their relevancy, and thereupon, examine the effective sound expression methods and techniques depending on movements of the objects in the monitor. Thus, this study, by inquiring into the uniqueness of choreography in motion graphic, presents the possibility of limitless expression of designer creation and inner world, and the ultimate goal lies in assuring the artistic value of motion graphic and its position as a synthetic art.

Occupying the center of architecture, design, painting and culture, minimalism is aesthetics of essence that reflects modern age but transcends age at the same time. Pursuing minimalist trend like this and covering the range of furniture, interior and architecture, total designer Antonio Citterio is developing minimalist designs of his own. Called one of the 3 greatest furniture designers in the world today, he leads the trend and enjoys high reputation as a world-renowned interior designer and architect. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze and integrate minimalist descriptive characteristics which appeared in interior space of Citterio who pursues minimalist design. As a study method, this study reorganized minimalism from methodological perspective, drew out expressive characteristics of minimalist interior spaces unique to Citterio based on background and influence of Citterio's design and, centering on this frame of analysis, analyzed and integrated interior spaces he designed. The results of this study are as follows; first, in order to overcome problems that can become monotonous in a minimalist space, Citterio provides spatial experiences to feel visual and spatial variations using the ramp and bridge. Second, he created various senses of space with visual and spatial expansion using transparency in the walls made of glass. Third, with linear expressions, he designed modern spaces with beauty of proportion and balance through contrast and emphasis. Fourth, he made constructive expression through exposure of structures or stairs in the space. Fifth, he created sophisticated atmosphere with contrast between natural and artificial materials and emphasis of material properties. Sixth, his design also shows the characteristic of using furniture as the role of adjusting overall atmosphere of interior space, not as separated parts from it. The author hopes that above results of this study will provide new implications for the development of domestic interior design.

A DMB in an ubiquitous age means that every one can share informations anytime anywhere through 'his own TV' or 'TV in his own hands'. A DMB of digital broadcastings makes the most use of informations through ubiquitous. But it has several problems just owing to retransferring existing broadcast programs in contents. So hereafter, DMB broadcasting must be produced with contents suiting its properties. After all, it is important to analyze exactly properties and service fields of medium of DMB to make an establish production direction of its contents. This paper analyzes such properties and presents overall image-contents production direction. This includes appropriate program developments and visual expressions through proper running time, camera angle and walking. The contents harmonized with its properties will give more familiarities to DMB users and it will be a new culture. In the end, it is expected that a share of DMB audience will be more higher.

This study aims to analyze typographic expressions used in recent fashion trends from the perspective of conceptual art and thus identify a variety of meanings. Towards this end, theoretical considerations were made vis-à-vis the main concepts of research, such as typography and conceptual art, and the ready-made, documentation, intervention and language, which are the expressive features of conceptual art, were applied to fashion typography as analytical frameworks. The results are as follows. The ready-made appears in a way that borrows or transforms the visual identity of other brands, and documentation is utilized in a way that lays tautological or contradictory texts together. Intervention arises, while leading to more complex layers of meaning when borrowing the visual identity of the brand, which is conceptually irrelevant. The language is expressed as statements about contemporary social issues, such as environmental protection, ethical consumption and gender problems. Based on the findings of this study, it can be confirmed that in fashion design, typography serves as an effective marketing tool and a medium of social statements. Moreover, it can expand into the possibility of generating new meanings as a novel way of visual expression.

In the field of visual arts, the introduction of synthesis allowed us to express various expressions that were outside the constraints of time and space. Digital synthesis is constrained by realistic representation due to technical limitations. However, it is no exaggeration to say that after digital synthesis has been fully established, at least the limits of image representation through synthesis have almost disappeared. The existing research papers on composing are either technical studies on the production techniques, or the synthesis was mainly focused on the change of the space-time concept and meaning of the visual arts. I felt the need for research on. In addition, I felt the need to look back on the changes in my view of art. Therefore, in this paper, rather than dealing with the conceptual theory of the technical part or spatio-temporal extension, it is necessary to classify it as natural, heterogeneous, heterogeneous and natural according to the traits revealed in the artistic expression of art, And diversity.

Web sites have become one of most important factor for sales products as well as advertising communications in these days. So numerous web sites have been developed for corporations and brands. It is not easy to getting more attention as a prominent web site expression among various types of numerous web sites. Due to the voluminous expansion of visual communications and the change of the media. new advertising creative must be needed for serving to differentiate the message, inviting audiences to participate more positively in Web site communications. This thesis aims at reviewing images and semiotics for analyzing web sites. And this thesis is about the significations of web sites for some of supreme brands. Chapter I describes the aim of this thesis about the signification of web sites, especially concentrate on the intro-pages of worldwide supreme brands. such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, Prada, and Burberry. And Chapter II introduces the general concept of Image and Semiotics. Chapter III deals with the signification of the web sites with introducing semiotic methods such as the theory of R. Barthes. Chapter IV discusses the signification of Images of web sites as an advertising creative talking into consideration of semiotic theories. And this thesis analyze almost all visual images and verbal message by the theory of R. Barthes. In this matrix, a. particular image of web site can be analyzed into its basic structure of pictorial and word elements , i. e., into the representations the viewer uses and identifies. It's my belief that one of aesthetic engineering approaches such as Semantic Differential Method and semiotic approaches such as the Interpretant Matrix for advertising design images provide basic methods which is about defining the process of constructing and coding the advertising images as well as analyzing and decoding advertising expressions. So I suggest these kinds of studies on the images of web sites as well as advertising design images.

As the film industry develops in China, movie posters come in various types. Among them, 'concept poster' has been recognized as an important means to form the first impression of a movie at the early stage of promoting the movie. In China, however, there are not many movie posters that have been recognized for their creativity. Accordingly, it calls for research on creative methods of implicitly expressing the content of the movie. This study analyzed visual expressions in the concept posters of HuangHai, who has been recognized not only for commerciality but also for artistry. The results showed that he did not use images of famous scenes and actors in the movie. Instead, he created the implicit image that reflects the main theme of the movie by using Minimalism, color, typography, and pictorial images. This study has a significance in terms of providing fundamental resources for improving movie poster designs in China.

This study examined the relationship between preservice teachers' mathematical understanding and problem posing in fractions multiplication and division. To this purpose, 41 preservice teachers performed visual representation and problem posing tasks for fraction multiplication and division, measured their mathematical understanding and problem posing ability, and examined the relationship between mathematical understanding and problem posing ability using cross-tabulation analysis. As a result, most of the preservice teachers showed conceptual understanding of fraction multiplication and division, and five types of difficulties appeared. In problem posing, most of the preservice teachers failed to pose a math problem that could be solved, and four types of difficulties appeared. As a result of cross-tabulation analysis, the degree of mathematical understanding was related to the ability to pose problems. Based on these results, implications for preservice teachers' mathematical understanding and problem posing were suggested.

This study analyzed the meaning and functions of '-(으)ㄹ 것 같다' and '-나 보다' among the various semantic functions depending on the situation, and discussed ways to train speculative expressions more efficiently by expanding them from traditional teaching methods through visualizations applied visual thinking at real Korean language education. The speculative representation, which is the subject of this study, represents the speaker's speculation about something or situation, with slight differences in meaning depending on the basis of the speculation and the subject of the speculation. We propose a training method that can enhance the diversification and efficiency of teaching-learning through visualization of information or knowledge, speculative representations that exhibit fine semantic differences in various situations. Utilizing visual thinking in language education can simplify and provide language information through visualization of language knowledge, and learners can be efficient at organizing and organizing language knowledge. It also has the advantage of long-term memory of language information through visualization of language knowledge. Attempts of various educational methods that can be applied at the Korean language education site can contribute to establishing a more systematic and efficient education method, which is meaningful in that the visual thinking proposed in this study can give interest and efficiency to international students.

This study examined the effect of visual art appreciation integrated with expression(integrated art appreciation) upon young children's drawing expression. The pretest-posttest control group design was chosen for the study. Twenty kindergarten children assigned to the experimental group were exposed to a program of integrated appreciation activity for 10 sessions. Another group of 20 kindergarten children were assigned to the control group taught by the traditional art teaching methods. Analysis of Covariance was applied for data analysis. Children in the experimental group showed higher scores in such drawing expressions as line, color, shape, composition, and theme.
