복합상업시설에서의 방문객의 경로선택과 통행량에 관한 연구 - 공간구문론과 현장조사 비교연구 - (A Study on Visitors' Circulation Pattern and Amount of Traffic in the Multi-Purpose Commercial Complex)

  • This study investigates the effects of the spatial elements of the mulit-purpose commercial complex on visitors' circulation pattern and wayfinding by employing method of space syntax, observation, and interview survey. Two commercial complexes were investigated; Techno-mart represented a vertical type and COEX mall rendered a horizontal one. Analysis of the spatial elements using space-syntax method provided a base line for comparing analyses by the two other methods. Analysis of the interview additionally survey identified the factors affecting wayfinding behavior and contributing satisfaction. The findings suggest that level of the effects of the spatial configuration on visitors' circulation pattern is greater in Techno-mart(vertically oriented) than COEX(horizontally). In COEX, for instance, specific route that connects sub-way station and cinema complex carries far more traffic than main route, even though the main route indicates higher degree of integration of spatial configuration. Similar with observation, the degree of integration is corresponding with the satisfaction and easiness of wayfinding behavior In COEX, specific place and feature seem to have more effects on visitors' wayfinding behavior and circulation pattern than the level of integration of spatial configuration.

  • A movement of visitor is a practical means that provides a spatial arrangement of exhibits and validity to that principle. Thus, an exhibition of a museum cannot be completed by an intrinsic value of exhibition itself. Thereby the purpose of this thesis is finding out the relationship between the visitors' pattern and spatial configuration in museum. As a result, as for the visitors' movement, it was grasped that diversified patterns of movements could appear in case the selections of courses are diversified within the environment in that the general understanding about the spaces was easy. That is, the exhibition environment in that general understanding about the spaces is easy because of the low depth of the exhibition space recognized from the entrance of the exhibition space and composition of exhibition space with diversified selections of courses may induce diversity of viewing patterns. That is, it may mean that in such composition of space, visitors may establish viewing courses based on their own purposes of viewing and preference thus they form individual spatial experiences themselves.

미술관에서 평면전시와 입체전시에 따른 관람행태의 변화;부산시립미술관을 중심으로 (The Variation of Visitor' Behavior in relation to the Planar Exhibition and the Three Dimensional Exhibition in Art Museum;focused on Busan Museum of Modern Art)

  • The objective of this study is to investigate how visitors' behavior change in relation to the pattern of exhibition in art museum. For the purpose Busan Museum of Modern Art was selected as the sample in this study. And two patterns of exhibition, namely the planar exhibition and the three dimensional exhibition, were surveyed using the tracking movement method. The data gathered from random-sampling 60 visitors in a art museum was analyzed by the correlation analysis and T-test. The results are as follows; 1) There is no meaningful difference in visitors' behavior by the exhibition pattern in terms of their viewing area, viewing time, viewing distance, viewing velocity, viewing rate. 2) In contrast, there is meaningful difference in terms of the number of stops by visitors and the time spent without movement to see the objects; visitors stopped more often and stayed longer within the three dimensional exhibition space than the planar exhibition in a art museum. In sum, visitors extrinsically show no big behavioral difference between the planar exhibition and the three dimensional exhibition, but much difference in the way they communicate with objects; they show more active behavior within the three dimensional exhibition space.

설악산국립공원의 탐방 패턴 (Visiting Pattern in Soraksan National Park)

  • 설악산국립공원의 탐방객 수는 1990년부터 1997년까지 연평균 3%의 증가율을 보이고 있고 전체 탐방객 중 79%가 접근성이 용이하고 편의시설이 잘 갖추어진 외설악지구로 탐방하고 있었다. 외설악지구의 설악동매표소를 통과한 탐방객 중 정상을 향한 등반비율은 6~17%수준이었고 그 나머지는 가까운 거리의 울산바위나 비선대, 마등령 방향으로 등반하고 하산하는 것으로 나타났다. 오색매표소에서 대청봉으로의 등반객 수는 여름철보다 가을철에 더 많았다. 설악산국립공원에서의 탐방객의 통행패턴은 지역별, 계절별, 요일별로 차이가 있었다.

국립공원의 이용자수 변동요인 및 추정모형에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Fluctuation factors and Model of Daily Visitors of National Park)

  • The purpose of this study is to prove the factors affecting the fluctuation of daily visitors in five mountainous national park(Kayasan, kyeryongsan, Naejangsan, Soraksan, Songnisan), and to analyze the relationship between these factors and daily visitors in Korea. "Three Factors and Nine Categories"(Aoki, K. & Aoki, Y. : 1974, 1979) has been applied to this study, and statistical analysis method was carried out by computer program SAS and SPSS. The number of daily visitors is calculated based on the data of "Daily entrance ticket sale report" by administration office in each national park. The scope of time period is during the last 5years(1982∼1986: 1825days) and the results were as follows: 1) There were significant differences in the number of daily visitors of each national park among months, days of a week and weather-the same as the previous study of urban park case. But it wold be better for their category classification to be adjusted according to the fluctuation pattern of each national park. 2) The peak of monthly visitors comes in May(Kayasan, Soraksan, Songnisan) or October(Kyeryongsan, Naejangsan). These months are specified as group tour season. On the basis of monthly fluctuation pattern, Each national park were classified into seasonal type, that is, kayasan, Soraksan were proved to be three-season type(Spring, Summer, Autumn), Songnisan to be two-season type(Spring, Autumn), and Naejangsan to be one-season type(Autumn). 3) The weekly pattern differs from three category (weekday, weekend, holiday: Eom, Choi 1986) in the case of urban park study. And there is no significant difference in daily fluctuation pattern by weather (fine, cloudy and rainy day), but significant difference between snowy and the others. This result is due to the characteristics of visitors, which is, the major visits of national park are planned in a advance of the tour, therefore it is difficult to change the plan by the weather. 4) the result of correlation analysis showed that the most influential factor on national park use in Kayasan, Naejangsan, Soraksan and Songnisan is ′Monthly characters (M)′, on the contrary ′Day of week(D)′ in Kyeryongsan only. From the result, The more parks are resource-based, the more ′Monthly characters′-factor is supposed to affect the number of daily visitors rather than ′Day of the week′-factor. This means that kayasan, naejangsan, Sorakson and Songnisan are classified into resource-based type, but on the other hand Kyeryongsan should be classified into intermediate type.

GPS 위치정보를 활용한 친수공원 이용객 수 추정방법 연구 (Estimating the Method of the Number of Visitors of Water-friendly Park Using GPS Location Information)

  • 산업화 및 도시화가 가중됨에 따라서 여가생활을 위한 공간 희소성이 부각되고 있다. 하천 주변의 수변공간이 제공하는 자연경관 및 생태체험 등의 기회는 지역사회의 발전과 친수공원 조성을 조성하는데 근간이 되는 요소이다. 이러한 하천 공간을 이용하는 이용객을 정량적으로 파악하는데 있어 과거에는 인력을 동원하여 현장조사를 수행하였으나 경비, 인력 및 시공간적인 제약이 발생하여 결과물의 정확성이 확보되지 못하는 문제점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 극복하고자 위치정보를 활용한 친수공원 이용객 추정을 수행하였다. 연구대상지역은 낙동강 하류에 위치한 삼락생태공원과 대저생태공원이다. 통신 빅 데이터를 활용한 이용객 패턴과 GPS 위치정보를 기반으로 한 이용객 패턴을 비교·분석하였다. GPS 위치정보는 Google Popular Times와 카카오 방문자 데이터를 활용하였다. GPS 위치정보 데이터를 활용했을 때 통신 빅 데이터를 활용한 결과보다 주중과 주말 이용객에 대한 패턴이 뚜렷하였다. 따라서 향후 통신 빅 데이터를 이용할 때 pCELL 크기의 정밀화 및 체류시간 30분 이상의 조건으로 이용객 수를 추출한다면 GPS 위치정보의 결과와 유사할 것으로 예상된다. 또한 개인정보 보호법 등 개정이 이루어져 보다 정확한 데이터를 추출한다면 GPS 기반으로 이용객 수를 추정하는 것이 더 정확한 이용객 수의 지표를 산정할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

알로하 셔츠의 발전 과정과 디자인 특성 (Design Characteristics and Development Process of Aloha Shirt)

  • "Aloha" is the Hawaiian word that extends the warmth friendliness, and pride of the Hawaiian people to their island's visitors. The aloha shirt truly symbolizes aloha sprit to islanders and visitors alike. The earliest foreign settlers in the Hawaiian Islands were the Chinese and Japanese. They brought with them their myriad talents and trades, among them the art of tailoring. In July of 1936, a shirtmaker named Ellery J.Chun coined the term "Aloha Shirt" an apt characterization for such an eloquent garment. He was the first to make the shirt on a commercial basis. The shirt sold for as little as a dollar in Chun's own King-Smith store. The genuine aloha shirt is now regaled as a work of art and avidly sought out by collectors. When tourism came to Hawaii in the late 1930s, these unusal shirts were among the first thing that visitors had to have. Local designers and tailors worked quickly to meet the demand and began to expand the range of decoration to include palm trees and romantic beaches, tropical jungles and volcanoes, exotic flowers and scenes from polynesian legend. Therefore the aloha shirt had been born. The functional use of creative colors and amazing artistic renderings in these shirts certainly capture the simplicity and sprit of Hawaii. Aloha shirt is dress that display mystery and charm of Hawaii and cultural symbol of condensed Hawaiian mind. Furthermore, the innocence with which Hawaiians formerly translated their life and heritage onto fabric ranks these shirts with the finest of American folk art. Aloha shirt is made from cotton, silk, rayon in present and past. Most important design element of Aloha shirt is print pattern. Main print pattern of Aloha shirt are all over pattern, horizontal pattern, border pattern, Japanese pattern, picture pattern and back panel pattern. In this study I investigate the design characteristics and development process of aloha shirt.

무등산도립공원 탐방객 수 추정 및 통행 패턴 (Estimation Number of Visitor's and Moving Pattern in Mudeungsan Provincial Park)

  • 무등산도립공원 탐방객 수와 통행 패턴을 파악하기 위하여 증심사지구, 원효사지구, 중머리재 등 3개 지역, 16개지점에서 2008년 여름부터 2009년 봄까지 계절별로 각 3일씩 조사를 실시하였다. 조사결과 무등산도립공원의 연간탐방객 수는 총 2,789,924명으로 추정되었다. 조사지점을 통한 입장객 수는 1,864,623명, 차량을 이용한 공원구역 통과객 수는 832,070명, 조사지점 외 탐방객 수는 93,231명으로 추정되었다. 전체 입장객 중 증심사지구로 입장하는 탐방객 비율이 74%, 원효사지구로 입장하는 탐방객이 26%로서 양 지역간 약 2.8배의 차이가 있었다. 증심사지구와 원효사지구 입장객이 중머리재를 방문하는 비율은 34.1%로 나타났으며, 중머리재 방문자 중 30.3%가 정상부를 탐방하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 무등산도립공원 장불재, 입석대, 규봉 등 정상부를 방문하는 탐방객은 전체 입장객의 21.1%로 나타났다.

가야산 국립공원의 이용특성 및 만족도에 관한 연구( I ) - 이용자 성격 및 이용패턴 - (Studies on the Use Characteristics and Satisfaction in Kayasan National Park, Korea( I ) - Visitors Characteristics and Use Pattern -)

  • 본 연구는 가야산 국립공원의 이용자 관리를 위한 기초자료의 제시를 목적으로 이용자를 그들의 사회경제적 성격과 이용유형으로 설명하고 이용이 분산되는 공간적 시간적 분포특성을 조사하였다. 이용자의 행위 및 행동을 분석함에 있어서는 기존의 연구결과에 관련되어 앞으로 규명되어야 할 연구가설들의 제시도 이루어졌다. 조사결과 가야산 국립공원의 이용자들은 주로 고졸이상의 20대가 많고 해인사 방문후, 등산, 캠핑, 피크닉 등의 행위에 참여하는 다목적형 방문을 하며 이용자집단의 평균규모는 약 10인에 이른다. 3년간의 평균방문횟수는 2회를 상회하고, 재방문의도가 높아 앞으로 공원이용이 증가추세를 보일 것으로 보인다. 이용패턴을 볼 때 입장객이 특별히 몰리는 시간대가 없이 입장객수는 고루 분산되어 있으나, 이용자의 대부분은 해인사, 홍류동계곡까지만 방문하고 등산에 참여하는 비율이 낮다. 하산객은 오후 3시부터 5시 사이에 많이 몰리는 것으로 나타났다.

전통문양의 현대화를 중심으로 한 요식업계의 유니폼 및 소품디자인개발 (Design of Uniform Packages for Restaurant by the Modernization of the Korean Traditional Motif)

  • There are increasing a foreign visitors since 88 Seoul Olympic game. Uniform is getting increased importance as one of the symbols which represent the characteristic of restaurant as well as gloves good impression to the customers and foreign tourist. This study aims at developing uniform packages (including table cloth, mat, napkin, end so on) that satisfy the customers' need and let foreign visitors recognize the outstanding beauty of Korean traditional pattern. For uniform design, It was selected a sumacsae of a the lotus flower motif and developed a textile pattern design by using CAD system. And then the developed textile design was printed a polyster100% fabric by using the digital textile printing system. Uniform packages designs were developed applying traditional sumacsae motif in order to capture a modern stance of beauty under using blue and pink color and same concept of modern image.
