Propose: This study was to identify the factors affecting the oral health status in vulnerable elders receiving home visiting health care service. Methods: A total of 444 elderly people over the age of 65 at 33 public health centers in Daegu and Gyungbuk areas were included in this survey. The data were collected by personal interview with nurses using oral health knowledge, behavior, and status questionnaires from the $10^{th}$ to $22^{nd}$ of July, 2012. The data were analyzed with t-test, one-way ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, and stepwise multiple regression, using SPSS program. Results: Factors affecting the oral health status were chewing satisfaction with denture 14.5% (${\beta}=.391$, p<.001), denture care (wash with water) 3.2% (${\beta}=-.187$, p<.01), and types of health insurance (medical aid type1, 2) 1% (${\beta}=-.111$, p<.05). The factors explained 18.7% of variance in the oral health status of vulnerable elderly subjects. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that in order to improve the oral health status of vulnerable elders, it is necessary to provide oral health education that includes the proper usage of denture to elders who receive home-visiting care.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of health literacy and unmet health care needs on health promotion behaviors among elderly people receiving visiting health care services at community health centers. Methods: The subjects of this study were 180 elderly people over 65 years old who were receiving health care services at public health center The subjects fully understood the purpose of this study and voluntarily agreed to participate. The collected data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé test and Hierarchical Regression Analysis using the SPSS 23.0 program. Results: Hierarchical regression analysis was used to identify factors influencing health promotion behaviors of the subjects. The results were as follows: presence of occupation (β=.26, p<.001), social activity status (β=.26, p=.001), and health literacy (β=.16, p=.023). Conclusion: Therefore, in order to improve health promotion behaviors, it is necessary for visiting nurses to administer health education and programs by considering the level of health care understanding.
The purpose of this study is to provide basic information about oral health behavior of dental technology department students. Questionnaire surveys were conducted for 925 dental technology department student. Their knowledge and attitude towards oral health and health education services utilization were surveyed. The results obtained were as follows; 1. Ever thought most of the students recognized that oral health was an important health issue, there were more subjects who lowly regarded the level of the perceived self-oral health knowledge than who regarded highly. Female students were negative on the state of their oral health than male students. 2. On the water fluoridation program, 52.2% of the respondents replied that they do know well about the program and 44.1% of them supported the execution of the program. Female students approved of fluoridation program than male students. 3. Number of mean tooth brushing was 2.71 times a day, the most frequently exhibited time of doing tooth brushing was after taking a breakfast or before going to bed. 4. The students who had experiences of visiting dental clinics for the past 1 year were 47.7% and the purpose of visiting dental clinics for the last time was to conduct caries treatment.
Purpose: This study was performed to develop an infection prevention education program for child care teachers and to verify its effects. Methods: The study was conducted using a nonequivalent control group with a pretest-posttest design. Four private daycare centers (2 centers per city) that were alike in terms of the number of children by age, number of child care teachers, and child care environment were chosen. Participants were assigned to the experimental group (n=20) or control group (n=20). As a part of the program, visiting education (90 min) was provided in the 1st week, and smartphone application education (10 min) was provided thrice a week, in the 2nd and 3rd weeks. Results: Child care teachers' self-efficacy for infection prevention revealed a significant interaction effect between the group and time of measurement (F=21.62, p<.001). In terms of infection prevention behavior, a significant difference was observed between the experimental and control groups (z=-5.36, p<.001). Conclusion: The program implemented in this study was effective in improving the infection prevention self-efficacy and infection prevention behavior of child care teachers. Thus, this program may be effective in enhancing their infection control.

Purpose. A huge proportion of adults in korea, workers chronic disease risk factors have been growing every year, these are closely related to oral health. thus, through the study of the relationship between workers oral health behavior and chronic disease risk factors. Methods. The subjects were 4,600 workers volunteering at the oral health education program part of the industrial health education of some area work places. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, chi-square test, Rogistic regression analysis. Results. The results of chronic disease risk factor according to oral health practice behaviors show that currently drinking and smoking, not visiting to the dentist for last year, fewer toothbrushing were associated with chronic disease risk factors. This result was statistically significant as well.(p<0.05). Risk factors influencing chronic disease were gender, age, job period, dental clinic visiting, the number of toothbrushing, perceived oral health state, smoking, and drinking, these were statistically significant as well(p<0.05). Conclusions. Chronic disease that could threaten workers health was related with the oral health practice behavior. Therefore through factors identification affecting general health and oral health, dental care providers aims to increase workers awareness of health care behavior and lifestyle and to suggest periodical health education promotion program for high risk workers who exposed to risk factors of disease within workplace.
The premium outlets have come into the spotlight as the new type of shopping facility different from the typical ones. Along with both the economical consumption trend and high-end brand preference of consumers, the development of outlet shopping center has become an important issue for many retail facility development companies in Korea, This study examines the shopping behavior of potential customers to build up the basic information (preliminary data) for successful development of premium outlet. To achieve this research purpose, this study surveys 1,300 consumers of Seoul and metropolitan area residents, and analyzes survey data by using PASW 18.0. This study shows various shopping behavior of outlet shoppers such as visiting frequency, reason for visiting, shopper group size, time spent in outlet, past shopping experience, luxury-brand shopping experience and so on. This study classifies outlet shoppers into premium outlet shoppers and general outlet shoppers and examines their shopping behavior. This study suggests meaningful insights for outlet shopping center developer.
To analyse the impact of recognition for local food on frequency of visiting for local food restaurants, we surveyed 333 residents in the Kyungsangdo areas. The findings are summarized as follows. On interest of native foods, 'much' scored 40.6% and 'taste' scored 32.9%, in requirement of development. The criteria of selection of local foods was 62.3% in 'taste'. 'Institute(municipal government)' scored 31.3% as the main responsible body for the succession of local foods. The most significant criterion for tourism product of local foods was 'taste'(34.5%). The most effective way to popularize the local foods was to 'hold various kinds of cultural events'(27.5%). The necessity score on tourism product of local foods was 3.55 points. The highest recognition on native local foods was 'succession to next generation'(3.96 points). The most influential variable affecting the visit frequency toward local food restaurants was 'health factor'.

This study is conducted to examine how purchase behaviors of consumers have affected by the promotion of coupons in internet shopping mall. This study was conducted with the purpose of identifying the differences In purchase behavior based on consumer's perception and experience of internet shopping mall coupons, and based on consumers' perception of cost and value of coupons, using a theoretic framework presented in previously conducted studies. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, based on the perception of coupons, there were significant differences in intent to use and intent to re-use at the time when coupons are offered, and at the time when coupons are offered, no significant differences were found between the level of interest and the importance of coupon at the time of visiting the shopping mall; however, significant differences were found in the overall purchase behavior based on perception of coupons. Second, when overall differences In purchase behavior based on experience in coupon use was observed, having experience in using coupons showed a higher average than did having no experience in using coupons, showing a significant difference. It was found that compared to those without experience in using coupons, those with experience with coupons had higher intent to use at the time when coupon is offered, intent to re-use at the time when coupon is offered, and higher level of purchase behavior In the importance of coupons at the time of visiting the shopping mall. Third, when relationship between purchase behaviors, cost of coupon, and perception of convenience was observed, a clear static relationship was found. This suggests that as the cost and perception of convenience of coupon increases, purchase behavior also increases. Such result suggests that there is a difference in purchase behavior based on experience in coupon use. When relationship of purchase behavior by variables of cost of coupon and perception of convenience is observed, it has a positive relationship with the perception that the use of coupon includes saving money, financial help, enjoyment of use, habitual use, has a short effective date, and has a negative relationship with the perception that it saves little money and is a waste of time. Therefore, it can be seen that purchase behavior has the highest relationship with enjoyment of coupon use and habitual coupon use. Such results suggest that purchase behavior will be significantly influenced based on cost of coupon and perception of convenience.
This study has analysed the composition elements in a cafe space where visual transfer-elements are filled and the perceptual characteristics of facade designs with the purpose of drawing any important elements to advertisement and their related items for uniqueness of designs. For the analysis of the perception process shown in the consecutive situations of observing and visiting cafes, the cafe facade was grouped and stereotyped for the analysis of perceptual characteristics and significant composition elements for better designing of cafes through survey with representative facades as subjects. The conclusions from this study are the followings. First, for the uniqueness specific to cafes to be integrated into facade, memory was chosen first as the most significant advertisement factor followed by interest as with male and attention as with female. The memory has much to do with furniture and finishing material of Clause (4), Chapter 4.1 and the types having effects on perception of Clause (1) and the atmosphere having effect on that of Clause (2) were found to be major factors to attention and interest. Second, it was found out that women preferred horizontally stable partition and men clearly divided facades. The factor of shape was observed first among the constituents of facade followed by color. There was no difference with 'shape' between men and women and color was found to be a space constituent having a lot of effects on women. Third, the memory of experience from visiting a cafe was very likely to offer the motivation of visiting it again, on which furniture had the most effect followed by finishing material and color. Such elevation elements as facade and logo were found not to have effect on the memory or the re-visit. Any intention of visiting again seemed to be influenced by such comprehensive images as atmosphere rather than by any concrete facade, furniture, or appliance. From the above viewpoint, facade design should have any uniqueness or impressive feature as well as the effect of making passers-by drop in and attracting them into the shop. The analysis of attributes of facade constituents revealed that the abstract images in addition to the configuration of facade had much to do with interest or behavior.
Purpose: To analyze the effects of customized home visiting health services on the health and health behaviors of clients with hypertension (n=107) and diabetes mellitus (DM: n=67). Methods: A one group pre and post-test research design was used. The subjects were registered in a customized 8-week, interventional, home visiting health services available in Daegu. Data was collected from November 17, 2008 to January 23, 2009. Analyses involved descriptive statistics, $x^2$ test and paired t-test. Result: Hypertension control rate was improved 25.2% and DM control rate was improved 3.0%. There were significantly beneficial hypertension-related differences in BP, health belief, health knowledge and health behaviors including performance of 10 min of moderate exercise, diet, BP monitoring and medication. Significantly beneficial DM-related changes included glucose, health belief, health knowledge and health behaviors including performance of 10 min of moderate exercise and glucose monitoring. But there were no significant hypertension-related differences in health belief (barrier) and health behavior including drinking and exercise length/frequency. Also, no significant DM-related differences were evident in health belief (barrier) and health behaviors including drinking, smoking, exercise length/frequency, diet and medication. Conclusion: Customized home visiting health service can provide effective, but not complete. Whether these benefits are maintained in the longer term is unknown.
