내화유리를 적용한 강재 유리벽의 내화성능 평가 (The Evaluation of Fire-Resistant Performance of the Non-bearing Steel Wall Using Fire Resistant Glass)

  • 방화구획 내 벽체에는 콘크리트, 조립식 패널, 건식벽체 등을 사용한 내화구조가 주로 적용되고 있으나 근래에 들어 시야 확보 및 미적 관점에 대한 관심이 증가하여 유리로 구성된 벽체의 수요가 발생하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 차열 유리를 적용한 스틸 내화벽체에 관한 것으로써 내부 방화구획에 적용 가능한 60분 내화벽체와 외부 벽체 및 커튼월에 적용 가능한 90분 내화벽체에 대하여 내화시험 및 성능분석을 수행하였다. 시험 결과, 각 시험체의 요구 내화성능을 충족하는 것으로 나타났으며, 추가적으로 유한요소해석을 통한 유리벽체의 내화성능을 평가하였으며 그 결과 1차적으로 시험체의 내화성능을 예측하는 것이 가능한 것으로 판단되었다.

한국철도공사 작업복에 관한 연구 (제2보) - 동복 하의를 중심으로 - (A Study on Work Clothes for Korea Railroad (Part II) - Focused on Winter Pants -)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the functionally improved winter work clothing for the Korean railroad workers. Based on the questionnaires, sample clothing for the Korean railroad workers was produced. The design, materials, and patterns were modified to increase mobility and comfort for workers. Water-repellent treatment was added to the material in order to decrease the dirt and stains while working. Also, reflective strips were added to side seams and hems of the trousers in order to increase the visibility and safety of the workers. In terms of the design and pattern, a circumference of 4.5cm was added to the crotch area in order to minimize tightness on the hip and crotch areas, but no additional circumference was added to the hip area. And a 1cm width dart was inserted between the side seams and yoke in order to add activity. Also three 1.4cm width tucks were used at 2.5cm space on the knees to alleviate tightness at the knees. The prototype was evaluated objectively and subjectively to compare with the existing working uniform. The assessment group consisted of 5 subject groups and 11 expert groups to evaluate external appearance and adaptability of the movements. Subject and panels were asked to evaluate the prototype that followed an ergonomic design and pattern. According to the results, the prototype was evaluated better than the existing working uniform in appearance and adaptability. A field test was conducted to compare the prototype and the existing working uniform. The field tests were performed by 6 workers in the Korean railroad. According to the results, the prototype advanced in terms of adaptability and comfort.

가중치가 부여된 공간변수에 의거하여 USN 루트노드 최소화 방안 -대학 캠퍼스를 사례로- (Minimizing Redundant Route Nodes in USN by Integrating Spatially Weighted Parameters: Case Study for University Campus)

  • 현재 유비쿼터스 센서 네트웍(USN: Ubiquitous Sensor Networks)의 노드를 배치하는 방식은 위치 적정성의 관점에서 많은 한계를 가지고 있다. 본 연구는 가시권 분석, 셀중심에 대한 인접성, 도로 밀도, 건물밀도, 셀중첩 비율을 GIS 데이터베이스로 구축하고 공간변수별 가중치에 의거하여 USN루트 노드 설치를 최소화하는 방안을 제시하였다. 기존의 전형적인 격자형 방식에 의거한 USN에서 24개의 루트노드가 필요하였지만 공간가중치에 의한 분석방법은 11개의 노드만으로 네트웍의 구성이 가능하였다. 11개의 노드만으로 구성된 USN에서 신호강도(RSSI: Received Signal Strength Indicator)는 다양한 지점에서 급격한 변동을 보이지 않고 노드의 연결성에 대한 성능평가 기준을 충족하였다. 공간가중치를 반영한 노드의 배치는 USN노드 배치에서 격자형방식이나 무작위로 설치하는 관행을 개선될 수 있는 계기가 되어 USN의 운영과정에서 신호강도를 확보할 수 있는 중요한 참고자료가 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

휴리스틱 알고리즘을 이용한 트림 및 힐링 각도 조절 최적화 (Optimized Trim and Heeling Adjustment by Using Heuristic Algorithm)

  • Many ships in voyage experience weight and buoyancy distribution change by various reasons such as change of sea water density and waves, weather condition, and consumption of fuel, provisions, etc . The weight and buoyancy distribution change can bring the ships out of allowable trim, heeling angle. In these case, the ships should adjust trim and heeling angle by shifting of liquid cargo or ballasting, deballasting of ballast tanks for recovery of initial state or for a stable voyage. But, if the adjustment is performed incorrectly, ship's safety such as longitudinal strength, intact stability, propeller immersion, wide visibility, minimum forward draft cannot be secured correctly. So it is required that the adjustment of trim and heeling angle should be planned not by human operators but by optimization computer algorithm. To make an optimized plan to adjust trim and heeling angle guaranteeing the ship's safety and quickness of process, Uk! combined mechanical analysis and optimization algorithm. The candidate algorithms for the study were heuristic algorithm, meta-heuristic algorithm and uninformed searching algorithm. These are widely used in various kinds of optimization problems. Among them, heuristic algorithm $A^\ast$ was chosen for its optimality. The $A^\ast$ algorithm is then applied for the study. Three core elements of $A^\ast$ Algorithm consists of node, operator, evaluation function were modified and redefined. And we analyzed the $A^\ast$ algorithm by considering cooperation with loading instrument installed in most ships. Finally, the algorithm has been applied to tanker ship's various conditions such as Normal Ballast Condition, Homo Design Condition, Alternate Loading Condition, Also the test results are compared and discussed to confirm the efficiency and the usefulness of the methodology developed the system.

시각에 의한 식이 섭취 모니터링의 부정확성이 김밥 섭취량과 포만도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Consumption Monitoring Inaccuracy by Vision on Kimbab Intake and Satiety Rate)

  • It was examined whether altering vision would influence food intake through consumption monitoring and whether this would be reflected in consumption estimate and satiety. The experiment was designed in two visibility levels: 1) an accurate visual cue (bowl covered with wrap) vs 2) a biased visual cue (bowl covered with foil). Thirty three female college students participated in this study. The subjects ate Kimbab in the lab once a week for 2 weeks. They were served 24 pieces of Kimbab in a bowl covered either with wrap or foil. The results showed that the actual Kimbab intake from the bowl covered with foil was significantly lower than the test using wrap ($13.4{\pm}3.3$ pieces vs $15.0{\pm}3.8$ pieces, p < 0.05). And there were no significant differences from the cognitive Kimbab intake between the tests with foil and wrap. However, the satiety rate of Kimbab in a bowl covered with foil was significantly higher than that with wrap at 1 hour and 2 hour after the Kimbab eaten (p < 0.05). Less consumed cases were recognized by subjects due to the inaccuracy during the consumption monitoring process. This result revealed that vision influences not only eating behavior but also subjective feelings of satiety after meal. In conclusion, the consumption monitoring by visual cues can play an important role in food intake and satiety rate.

고속선의 트림제어 장치가 항주 자세 및 저항 성능에 미치는 영향 (Experimental investigation of dynamic trim control devices in fast speed vessel)

  • The displacement Deep-V catamaran concept was developed in Newcastle University(UNEW) through development of the systematic Deep-V catamaran series. One of the most important Deep-V catamaran launched to date is Newcastle University's own multi-purpose research vessel, The Princess Royal. The vessel was launched in 2011 and enhanced the Deep-V catamaran concept further with the successful adoption of a novel anti-slamming bulbous bow and tunnel stern for improved efficiency. It was however identified that the vessel has substantial amount of dynamic trim that limited the visibility of the captain. The dynamic trim also increased the wave-making resistance thereby preventing the vessel from attaining its maximum speed in certain sea states. This paper therefore presents the application of devices such as Trim Tabs, Interceptors, Transom Wedges and Integrated Transom Wedges-Tabs to control the dynamic trim and improvement of fuel efficiency of the vessel. All of these energy saving devices were fitted into a model for tests in Newcastle University's Towing Tank. Model test verification confirmed that the optimum appendage was the interceptors, they produced a 5% power saving and 1.2 degree trim reduction at 15 knots, and investigations of full scale trials will be scheduled with and without application of device to compare the improvement of performance.

선박사고용 호흡구난장비의 착용성 및 활동성 평가 연구 (Evaluation on th e Wear Fit and Activity of Emergency Escape Breathing Devices for Ship Accidents)

  • 선박 운항 중 화재나 사고 시에 선박 내부의 복잡한 구조나 침수로 인해 갑판으로의 신속한 피난이 어려울 경우 유해가스나 산소 부족에 대응하기 위해서는 비상탈출용 호흡구난장비가 필수적이다. 최근 국내에서도 비상탈출호흡구가 개발 보급되고 있으나, 기본 성능만 만족할 뿐 실제 사용시의 착용성 및 활동성에 대한 평가 사례가 없어 그 효용성에 대해 의혹이 크다. 본 연구에서는 선박사고에 적합한 비상탈출호흡구에 대한 착용성 및 활동성 평가 항목을 제반 국제 기준으로부터 도출하였고, 개방식과 폐쇄식 각각의 국산 제품 샘플에 대한 평가를 수행하였다. 개방식은 시인성, 착용시간, 호흡저항 및 호스 걸림 부분에서, 폐쇄식은 정화통 방해, 무게 불균형, 호흡백 시야 가림 부분에서 개선이 필요한 것으로 평가되었다.

몰입형 가상현실 의료 술기 콘텐츠의 인터페이스 사용성에 따른 어포던스 하위 평가 요소에 관한 연구 (Affordance Elements According to the Usability of the Interface of Immersive Virtual Reality Clinical Skill Content)

  • 가상현실을 이용한 체험교육은 몰입을 통한 학습 효과성을 검증하며 의료분야에서 적극적으로 활용되고 있으나 가상현실 내에서 학습 몰입에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 문헌 연구를 통해 인터페이스의 사용성 및 인지적 어포던스 평가 요소를 추출하고 가상현실 의료 콘텐츠 4종을 선정하여 전문가 대상 사용성 평가를 실시하였다. 이를 종합하여 가상현실 의료 술기 콘텐츠에 따른 인터페이스 설계 방안을 제안하였다. 내용을 요약하면, 정보를 제공하는 인터페이스는 가시성, 체험자의 시선과의 거리, 색감의 조화, 통일감 있는 시각화, 피드백, 반응 속도, 조작에 따른 예상된 변화로 인해 몰입에 영향을 끼치며 인터페이스를 통해 제공하는 정보의 의미와 용어가 명확해야 몰입을 해치지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 제한된 콘텐츠를 이용하여 일반화에는 한계가 있어, 이후 지속적인 연구를 통해 체험자가 학습의 맥락을 익히고 파악하기 위한 인터페이스 설계에 표준화된 가이드 개발 및 사용자 관점의 인터페이스 설계 연구에 대한 정밀화가 논의되기를 기대한다.

라이브커머스에서 가상실재감의 효과와 결정요인 연구: 라이브쇼핑 매체 및 인플루언서 특성을 중심으로 (A Study on the Effect and Determinants of Virtual Presence in Live Commerce: Focusing on the Characteristics of Live Shopping Media and Influencers)

  • Purpose: Live commerce is a new type of electronic commerce in combination with live streaming services. It is expected to increase virtual presence in the context of online shopping by overcoming a lack of social interactions between sellers and buyers which have been raised as a limitation in electronic commerce. Drawing on the studies of communication media, this study examines how live commerce contributes to the increase of virtual presence which consists of telepresence and social presence. Telepresence refers to a buyer's perception that he or she is present at the physical shopping mall during live shopping streaming whereas social presence refers to a buyer's perception of social interaction with a seller which is human warm, social, sensitive, and personal. In this study, we verify key determinants of virtual presence and its consequences. More specifically, this study proposes virtual presence contributes to the increase of buyers' trust in products and further purchase intentions. Furthermore, we verify influential factors of virtual presence from the technical and influencer perspectives of live commerce. Design/methodology/approach: To test the proposed hypotheses, the partial least squares (PLS) analysis is conducted with a total of 250 data collected on users with experience in the TaoBao live streaming shopping platform. Findings: The results show that first, telepresence and social presence are increased by visibility, media richness and attractiveness in the context of live shopping streaming. Second, buyers' trust in product trust and purchase intentions are positively influenced by telepresence and social presence. Finally, buyers' trust in product has a direct, positve effect on their purchase intentions. Overall, the findings offer new insights into the studies of electronic commerce by introducting the concepts of virtual presence and media richness from the literature of communication media in the field of live commerce.

금융권 플랫폼 비즈니스의 서비스 품질 요인간 구조적 관계에 대한 연구 (Structural Relationship and Evaluation Factors in Financial Platform Business)

  • In order to enhance competitiveness in the industry, financial companies are building a high level of customer satisfaction and repurchase intention by further strengthening not only the technical quality of the platform business but also the customer-oriented service quality. Theoretically, it is time for a theoretical review of whether the expansion of service quality using platform business in the financial industry is directly linked to the performance of financial companies, such as satisfaction and repurchase intention of existing customers. Based on the rapid growth of mobile and the main activities of financial platform companies above, This study attempted to test a significant impact on customer satisfaction and reuse intention on information services and system services, which are service quality of mobile financial platforms. Even if a number of financial companies compete with each other, they could survive by dividing the market, In the digital environment, customers have free access, so the winner can monopolize the market. It is an environment in which customers can move to platform companies that provide better services. The contents presented through the results in this study will be able to be used strategically in terms of the implementation and operation of the financial platform. In addition, it served as an opportunity to find independent variables that affect customer satisfaction and reuse intention, which are financial platform service quality, and suggested the possibility of continuous development of the platform in the future. In summary, the service quality of financial platforms can further expand users by emphasizing user visibility in terms of information services and utilizing user-centered financial platforms that increase customer satisfaction and reliability by strengthening the responsiveness and ease of system services. This study is of important value and is believed to have laid an important foundation for future research.
