Space in the past had characteristics of place which are required for specific behavior to be done as we recognized it easily. However, for space in modern times, the purpose, forms and behavior space has, have changed as tools comprising the space have changed. 'Virtual space' which has been a conversation topic recently is unspecific and changeable space whose forms and geological location are not defined clearly. In addition, behaviors caused by this virtual space in combination with real space are taking place. The nature of Flash Mob which is one of the typical behaviors which take place starting from virtual space to be connected with real space, is that it is intangible game culture whose forms and behaviors are not fixed, and it is not limited to a specific place. Besides, Flash Mob is characteristic of representing game culture in modern society, and its nature can be summarized as temporariness, non-placeness, anonymity, double-sidedness and so forth. Since events generally take place in every place when man is involved in space, it's possible to generally think events derived from interpersonal relationships between man and man. We are to study spatial characteristics of Flash Mob by analyzing features and cases of the Flash Mob by means of them.
The rapid growth of blog has caused information overload where bloggers in the virtual community space are no longer able to effectively choose the blogs they are exposed to. Recommender systems have been widely advocated as a way of coping with the problem of information overload in e-business environment. Collaborative Filtering (CF) is the most successful recommendation method to date and used in many of the recommender systems. In this research, we propose a CF-based recommender system for bloggers to find their similar bloggers or preferable virtual community without burdensome search effort. For such a purpose, we apply the "Interest Value" to CF recommender systems. The Interest Value is the quantity value about users' transaction data in virtual community, and can measure the opinion of users accurately. Based on the Interest Value, the neighborhood group is generated, and virtual community list is recommended using the Community Likeness Score (ClS). Our experimental results upon real data of Korean Blog site show that the methodology is capable of dealing with the information overload issue in virtual community space. And Interest Value is proved to have the potential to meet the challenge of recommendation methodologies in virtual community space.

In this paper, we describe a system that can interact with agents in the virtual space incorporated in the system. This system is constructed by an analysis system for analyzing human gesture and an interact system for interacting with agents in the virtual space using analyzed information. An implemented analysis system for analyzing gesture extracts a head and hands region after taking image sequence of an operator's continuous behavior using CCD cameras. In interact system, we construct the virtual space that exist an avatar which incarnating operator himself, an autonomous object (like a Puppy), and non-autonomous objects which are table, door, window and object. Recognized gesture is transmitted to the avatar in the virtual space, then transit to next state based on state transition diagram. State transition diagram is represented in a graph in which each state represented as node and connect with link. In the virtual space, the agent link an avatar can open and close a window and a door, grab or move an object like a ball, order a puppy to do and respond to the Puppy's behavior as does the puppy.
This study is based on the Virtual Reality Space what grow rapidly compared with other space type. We make a certain definite possibilities by the functional, material, scientific and conceptual space comparison approved with existing visual space about the function of sound and visual system & the application of the mechanical system. Symbol and Expression Media are showing characteristics more than a tool in Modern times being changed from materialistic world to immaterial one. Especially, Augmented Reality, which is the new technology showing human beings real world and virtual world simultaneously recently and being exceeded to existent many limits, is going ahead. Simulation space is the technology one which can be applied to various fields such as culture, industry and education etc., and it helps human beings to overcome their limitations. The gains from this study are the specified and detailed yardsticks and cases of Simulation(space) facilities classified as a specific space. Therefore, the space mainly consists of the parts on size, equipment, and material etc. judging from technical point of view. Architectural Space, especially, should be considered very importantly in the middle of the transition from image realization to experience. The comprehension on various contents together with mechanical facilities will be requested to the connection applied to physical space expression, and that is what we have to study continuously afterward.

This study aims to establish a foundation for autonomous driving on campus and communication of abundant university information in the HCI environment in a VR environment where college freshmen can freely travel around campus facilities. The purpose of this study is to develop a three-dimensional VR-style campus tour system to establish a media environment to provide abundant university information guidance services to freshmen in non-face-to-face situations. This study designed a three-dimensional virtual reality campus tour system to solve the problem of discontinuity in which VR360 filming space does not lead to space like reality, and to solve many problems of expertise in VR technology by constructing an integrated production environment of tour system. We aim to solve the problem of inefficiency, which requires a large amount of momentum in virtual space, by constructing a GUI that utilizes the motion of the field of view focus. The campus environment was designed as a three-dimensional virtual reality using a three-dimensional graphic design. In non-face-to-face situations, college freshmen freely transformed the HMD VR device, smartphone, FPS operation mode of the gyroscope sensor. The design elements of the three-dimensional virtual reality campus tour system were classified as ①Visualization of factual experiences, ②Continuity of space movement, ③Operation, automatic operation mode, ④Natural landscape animation, ⑤Animation according to wind direction, ⑥Actual space movement mode, ⑦Informatization of spatial understanding, ⑧GUI by experience environment, ⑨Text GUI by building, ⑩VR360, 3D360 Studio Environment, ⑪Three-dimensional virtual space coupling block module, ⑫3D360-3D Virtual Space Transmedia Zone, ⑬Transformable GUI(VR Device Dual Viewer-Gyro Sensor Full Viewer-FPS Operation Viewer) and an integrated production environment was established with each element. It is launched online (http://vautu.com/u1) by constructing a GUI for free driving mode and college information screens to adapt to college life for freshmen, and designing an environment that can be used simultaneously by current media such as PCs, Android, and iPads. Therefore, it conducted user research, held a development presentation, a forum on excellence in university innovation support projects, and applied it as a system on the website of a particular university. College freshmen will be able to experience university information directly from the web and app to the virtual reality campus environment.
If a virtual object in a virtual environment represented by a stereo vision system could be touched by a user with some tactile feeling on his/her fingertip, the sense of reality would be heightened. To create a visual impression as if the user were directly pointing to a desired point on a virtual object with his/her own finger, we need to align virtual space coordinates and physical space coordinates. Also, if there is no tactile feeling when the user touches a virtual object, the virtual object would seem to be a ghost. Therefore, a haptic interface device is required to give some tactile sensation to the user. We have constructed such a human-computer interaction system in the form of a simple virtual reality game using a stereo vision system, a vibro-tactile device module, and two position/orientation sensors.
Recently, virtual reality technologies have been rapidly developed and realtime virtual simulation methods have been extensively employed for several application areas such as game, sports, manufacturing, military, and so on. A 3D database in realtime virtual simulation plays a key role because it makes users feel reality in virtual space. In a application view of 3D database, a systematic construction approach is required to reduce its construction time and increase its quality. However, many researches have been mostly focused on realtime graphic issues and its key technologies. In virtual simulation of transportation equipments, this paper proposes a systematic construction process of 3D database consisting of four stages as follows: 1) determine the activity space of a equipment, 2) collect data related to 3D database construction, 3) make a 3-dimensional modeling strategy, and 4) generate and evaluate a 3D model. This paper also introduces a new procedure of 3D environment modeling, which summarizes and expands our modeling experiences, to be used as a modeling guide.
In immersive virtual reality system, since virtual worlds do not supply users with sufficient spatial information af real world does, the users frequently experience clumsiness and roughness while manipulating virtual objects. To overcome this problem, we propose Visual Guider in this paper as a tool for enhancing user's visual space perception in immersive virtual worlds. The Visual Guider aids users to recognize exocentric distances between different scene points and egocentric distances from the observation point to other points in the scene fast and precisely. Its concept is imported from the rectangular grids frequently used in two-dimensional windows applications. We applied the proposed technique to an experimental virtual space implemented in $CAVE^(TM)-like$ system and tested its effectiveness while users grasp and move virtual objects.
