Container-based virtualization reduces performance overhead compared with other virtualization technologies and guarantees an isolation of each virtual execution environment. So, it is being studied to block access to host resources or container resources for sandboxing in restricted system resource like embedded devices. However, because security threats which are caused by security vulnerabilities of the host OS or the security issues of the host environment exist, the needs of the technology to prevent an illegal accesses and unauthorized behaviors by malware has to be increased. In this paper, we define additional access permissions to access a virtual execution environment newly and control them in kernel space to protect attacks from illegal access and unauthorized behaviors by malware and suggest the Container Access Control to control them. Also, we suggest a way to block a loading of unauthenticated kernel driver to disable the Container Access Control running in host OS by malware. We implement and verify proposed technologies on Linux Kernel.

In this study, we developed a PC - based motorcycle simulator based on the development technology of a virtual patrol motorcycle training system. This simulator has been developed to be applied to a variety of fields such as driving training for beginners, driver factor research, and system development such as ABS, which can be seen in advanced models. The weight of the motorcycle operated by the patrol guards is more than 400Kg. There is a lot of risk due to the nature of work without prior practice. Therefore, we implemented a study on the untilization of physical stress and temporal pressure in emergency situations. In order to get a feeling that the motorcycle simulator is operating in real-life, it is important that the mutual reliable signal transmission and operation feel between the driver and the simulator. In order to achieve this, we developed a system that can apply the sub-systems of the actual vehicle to the motorcycle simulator in order to generate the same operation feeling as the actual vehicle. Based on these results, we have developed a method of generating a feedback queue.

Application response time is critical to end-user response time in Android smartphones. Due to the plentiful resources of recent smartphones, storage I/O response time becomes a major key factor in application response time. However, existing storage I/O trace tools for Android and Linux give limited information only for a specific I/O layer which makes it difficult to combine I/O information from different I/O layers, because not helpful for application developer and researchers. In this paper, we propose a novel storage I/O trace tool for Android, called AIOPro (Android I/O profiler). It traces storage I/O from application - Android platform - system call - virtual file system - native file system - page cache - block layer - SCSI layer and device driver. It then combines the storage I/O information from I/O layers by linking them with file information and physical address. Our evaluations of real smartphone usage scenarios and benchmarks show that AIOPro can track storage I/O information from all I/O layers without any data loss under 0.1% system overheads.

Virtualization lacks capabilities for enabling the application to scale efficiently because of new applications components which are raised to be configured on demand. In this paper, we propose an architecture that affords mobile app based on nomadic smartphone using not only mobile cloud computing-cloudlet architecture but also a dedicated platform that relies on using virtual private mobile networks to provide reliable connectivity through LTE(Long Term Evolution) wireless communication. The design architecture lies with how the cloudlet host discovers service and sends out the cloudlet IP and port while locating the user mobile device. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed architecture by implementing an android application responsible of real time analysis by using a vehicle to applications smartphone interface approach that considers the smartphone to act as a remote users which passes driver inputs and delivers outputs from external applications.

iSCSI(Internet Small Computer System Interface) is a block-oriented storage access protocol that enables a user to recognize a remote storage as their own local block device through general TCP/IP networks. Since iSCSI uses a standard ethernet switch and router for this kind of access, it can not only be applied to ethernet technologies, but can also be used to create a storage networking system without any distance restrictions that can equally be applied to a wireless network environment. Accordingly, focusing on this applicability, this paper presents an alternative approach to overcome the limited storage space of mobile devices based on the iSCSI initiator driver, which was originally designed for wired networks. Additionally, its potential with a wireless network is also evaluated.

With the cultural background of whiteness I did examine the universal meaning of absolute good, the special of psychosis, and the fantastic of femininity and memory/record. As an example I analyzed the symbolic meaning of white used in Korean films. Unconditional goodness, white as a generality: White color in all the films of good-evil confrontation falls into this category. The most obvious and the simplest configuration are the black-white dichotomy. In Nameless Gangster: Rules of Time(2011), The Merciless(2016), Asura: The City of Madness(2016) and The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos(2019), white is the absolute good but it is not limited to a fair key figure. Paradoxically, black is not given only to the side of absolute evil. White is used to be a flexible visual device that reflects the socio-political situation without changing the meaning of the general good. Psychosis and pills, white as a peculiarity: The visual function that emphasizes sado-masochism in the absolute good and the universal symbol of white extends to psychotic specificities such as hysteria. In all the films creating horror, white symbolizes the mentally disabled and the pill for healing. Femininity and haunted white: White of absolute good is expressed by the socio-cultural tendency of femininity and the black-white contrast of vision is applied to the gender difference. In general the women's sexuality is emphasized in color red, but white is arranged in the background. In TaeGukGi: Brotherhood Of War(2004), 71: Into The Fire(2010), My Way(2011), The Front Line(2011), Roaring Currents(2014), Northern Limit Line(2015), The Battle: Roar to Victory(2019) and Battle of Jangsari(2019), white given to female figures sticks to the traditional femininity such as motherhood, sacrifice and weakness. The concept of specters is applied to desires, memories/records, history, fantasy, virtual/reality and social media images. The film history capturing to list memories and moments brings up the specters of socio-political genealogy. Most of films aiming for socio-political change are its examples and white constituting Mise-en-scene records to remember a historical event in Peppermint Candy(2000), The Attorney(2013) and A Taxi Driver(2017).
