차량 구조물 안전설계를 위한 진동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Vibration Characteristics for Safety Design of Vehicle Structure)

  • This is a study on the natural vibration characteristics of Vehicle frame. Nowadays, many trucks freight the over-load, do the car designers consider the over-load about 200% in the design. It's necessary to make the model of a vehicle and simulate it for the test of driving condition, durability and vibration behavior before the vehicle is manufactured. If it is possible to make a simulation using the static and dynamic analysis, this is very useful in accomplishing an optimal design of the vehicle. In this paper, we studied the vibration characteristics of a truck body frame. The automobile body frame model for experiment is made smaller than real size frame with the ratio of 1/10. The vibration characteristics of a frame is considered as one of main factors in analyzing and improving the problem for ride comfort, noise and vibration reduction. Therefore, we experimented two method to neglect the nonlinearity. First is bolting and second is welding at the joint section. We compared computer simulation results and experimental data.

  • The rotor blade of a helicopter is the key structural units and provides three components such as vertical lifting force, horizontal propulsive force and control force. With advancements in aerospace technology, composite materials have been widely used in lightweight structures. In addition, composites show great potential on the design of rotor blades due to the advantages of strength, durability and weight of the materials. In the operational condition of a helicopter, it is required the vibration characteristics of the rotating blades for avoiding resonance and analysis of efficient performance prediction et al. In this study, the CAMRAD-II is used for analyzing the vibration characteristics of rotating composite blades. The effects of rotating speed and collective angles are investigated. Also, the numerical results are compared with experimental data.

스쿠터 시트의 내구성 해석에 관한 융합 연구 (Convergence Study on Durability Analysis of Scooter Seat)

  • 본 연구는 스쿠터 시트에 대해 구조해석과 진동해석을 하였다. 스쿠터는 주변에서 쉽게 접할 수 있고 거리에서 손쉽게 볼 수 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 스쿠터의 종류 중 비본A, 줄리오 B, 시티에이스 C, 3가지 종류를 비교하여 사람의 무게와 비슷한 힘을 스쿠터 시트에 가하고 구조해석을 통해 어떤 시트가 가장 변형이 많이 오는 가를 변형량을 서로 비교하고 사람에게 편안함을 줄 수 있는지 주행 중 진동을 흡수하여 탑승자에게 불편함을 주지 않을 지를 알아보았다. 구조해석 결과로서 모델 C가 전변형량이 가장 컸다. 그리고 모델 B가 변형이 많이 되면서 앉기 편하도록 변화되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이 연구를 통해 어느 시트가 가장 편안하고 내구성이 강할지 확인해 볼 수 있었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 얻은 스쿠터 시트 모델의 내구성 해석 결과 데이터를 활용함으로서 실생활에서의 기계나 구조물에 융합하여 그 미적 감각을 나타낼 수 있다.

  • The working conditions of construction equipments such as excavators, wheel loaders and haulers are very tough and severe in fact. To design main components of construction equipment under the severe environment, it's important for engineers to consider design for vibration durability point of view at the early stage of product development process. Radiator as a cooling unit of construction equipment is one of critical components to apply design for vibration. We present a design for vibration process and methodology on the radiator system in construction equipment industries. From the natural frequency and the random vibration analysis based on field vibration test data, we could find current status of radiator layout design to develop and made best layout specification of radiator design to decide for product development process at the early stage.

  • Diesel power plant can be used as a power supplier for the isolated place where consumption of electric power is variable. The reason is that mobility and durability of diesel engine is superior to those of other thermal engines. However, there are some disadvantages for using these diesel engines such as bigger vibratory excitation force comparing to the others, which result from high combustion pressure of cylinders and inertia force of piston reciprocating masses. In this paper, control and optimization of torsional vibration of 12K90MC-S engine for diesel power plant using uneven crank angles is identified by theoretical analysis and vibration measurement.

  • Noise and vibration performance plays an important role in the development of rotating components, such as engines, drivelines, transmission systems, compressors and pumps. The presence of torsional vibrations and other specific phenomena require the dynamic behaviour of systems and components to be designed accurately in order to avoid comfort and durability related problems. This paper provides an overview of the instrumentation and challenges related to torsional vibration testing. The accuracy and performance of five measurement techniques (high-speed incremental encoder, dual beam laser interferometer, zebra tape, zebra disc, direct pulse measurements with magnetic probe) is investigated by measurements on a Fiat Punto 1.4 liter engine. The potential sources of error are discussed to explain the inaccuracies of each technique.

  • Recently, all the generators needed of the boats are being imported, so our objective is to make a national production of soundproof generators. We have already built a marine soundproof generator and it has also been hrough an endurance test for its commercialization. This paper has the noise vibration measurements needed for maintaining its durability and performance. We concluded that the difference of the noise values with and without the case was of 11.4dB.

  • In modern automotive control modules, mechanical failures of surface mounted electronic components such as microprocessors, crystals, capacitors, transformers, inductors, and ball grid array packages, etc., are mai or roadblocks to design cycle time and product reliability. This paper presents a general methodology of failure analysis and fatigue prediction of these electronic components under automotive vibration environments. Mechanical performance of these packages is studied through finite element modeling approach fur given vibration environments in automotive application. Using the results of vibration simulation, fatigue lift is predicted based on cumulative damage analysis and material durability information. Detailed model of solder/lead joints is built to correlate the system level model and obtain solder strains/stresses. The primary focus in this paper is on surface-mount interconnect fatigue failures and the critical component selected for this analysis is 80 pin plastic leaded microprocessor.

  • This roport explain the basic theory of desinging the accelerating durability test road and the role of each factors contributing to test road surface profile. Also this road is designed by considering the charactors of vehicle suspension system and condition of driving.   • In this paper a computer aided analysis method is proposed for durability assessment in the early design stages using dynamic analysis, stress analysis and fatigue life prediction method. From dynamic analysis of a vehicle suspension system, dynamic load time histories of a suspension component are calculated. From the dynamic load time histories and the stress of the suspension component, a dynamic stress time history at the critical location is produced using the superposition principle. Using linear damage law and cycle counting method, fatigue life cycle is calculated. The predicted fatigue life cycle is verified by experimental durability tests.
