팬 작동에 따른 비팅성 아이들 진동 평가 (Evaluation of idle vibration beated by cooling fan imbalance)

  • The beating phenomenon occurs because of various causes, when idle vibration was happened. In this study, the beating phenomenon was divided into several parameters and controlled by the parameter. It was hypothesized that the beating parameter is related to discomfort of idle vibration. The three-down one-up method was performed for evaluating discomfort of controlled vibrations, which is widely used in the field of psychophysics. As a result in pilot test, a subject responds beating vibration more discomfort than normal idle vibration. In the future, the study will be implemented to know how much the parameters of beating signal affect to the discomfort at idle vibration in passenger vehicle.

철도교량 시험체의 가진방법에 따른 고유진동수 측정치 변동에 대한 비교 분석 (Comparison of Measured Natural Frequencies of a Railway Bridge Specimen Between Different Excitation Methods)

  • 철도교량과 같이 주기적 가진에 의해 공진발생의 가능성이 높은 구조물에 있어서, 정확한 구조물의 동적특성치 파악은 설계단계 및 공용중 안정적인 응답을 확보하기 위해 필수적이다. 이 논문에서는 실축척 구조물을 대상으로 하는 강제 진동실험에서 일반적으로 사용할 수 있는 가진방법인 가진기 및 충격해머를 사용한 가진실험의 결과를 상호 비교하여 가진방법에 따른 고유진동수 추출결과의 차이 및 차이의 발생원인을 분석하고, 보다 정확한 구조물의 고유진동수를 산출하기 위한 보정방법을 제안하였다. 또한, 철도교량의 시공단계에 따라 궤도부설 전, 후에 진동실험을 수행하였으며, 궤도부설에 의한 고유진동수 변화를 관찰하였다. 가진방법에 따른 측정 고유진동수의 차이는 가진기의 경우 부가질량의 효과, 충격해머의 경우 동적응답 레벨에 따라 변화하는 지점강성효과에 기인하는 것으로 파악되었으며, 이에 대한 보정을 통해 보다 신뢰성 높은 고유진동수로 환산하는 것이 가능하였다. 궤도부설의 효과는 일반적으로 부가질량으로만 고려하여 궤도부설 전에 비해 고유진동수가 감소하는 것으로 예상되어 왔지만, 이 연구에서 수행한 실험의 결과로 질량추가의 효과에 상당하는 강성기여 효과도 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 강성증가율은 발생변위의 수준에 비례하여 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 설계단계에서 완성계의 고유진동수 예측시 궤도의 발생변위수준을 고려하여 적절히 강성기여 효과를 고려하는 것이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

  • Habitability is one of the most important points when a passenger ship is cruising. In particular, anti-vibration design should be considered preferentially to offer passenger a comfort cabin and leisure space. But, a passenger ship is different from a general commercial ship in the view point of the structural arrangement. It is restricted within narrow limits to reinforce wide panels and local structures of a passenger ship because of its interior design. Moreover, the allowable vibratory limits for a passenger ship are much lower than those of a commercial ship. In this study are introduced the procedure of the vibration analysis, the structural improvement method for prevention of vibration and the results of vibration measurement during exciter test and sea trials.

  • This paper describes a study on dynamic characteristics analysis and dynamic compliance evaluation of a 5-axis multi-tasking machine tool of ram-head type. Structural dynamics analysis and evaluation are necessary to machine tool design and development to secure good machine tool performance against tough and harsh machining conditions. In this study, natural frequencies and corresponding vibration modes of the machine tool structure were analyzed by using both F.E.M. modal analysis and impulse hammer test. Furthermore, dynamic compliance of the machine tool was analyzed by using F.E.M. and also measured by using a hydraulic exciter test. Both the theoretical analysis and experimental test results showed good agreement with each other.

진동해머의 진동특성에 대한 해석적 연구 (Analytical Study on Vibrational Properties of Vibro-hammer)

  • 진동해머에 의해 시공되는 말뚝의 해석을 위해서는 진동해머의 진동특성을 파악함이 우선되어야 한다. 진동해머의 진동특성을 살펴보고자 해석적 연구를 수행하였다. 진동시스템에 대한 지배방정식 구성에 있어서는 진동기만의 질량에 의해 발생하는 스프링작용력을 말뚝에 작용시키는 개념보다는 기진기와 말뚝이 연결된 단일 질량체를 고려하여 지배방정식을 구성하는 것이 타당할 것으로 판단된다. 공운전시 스프링상수가 증가함에 따라 진폭의 변화량은 크지 않았으나 스프링작용력은 대체로 스프링상수에 비례하여 증가하였다. 공운전시 기진기질량이 증가함에 따라 진폭은 대체로 반비례관계를 보였으며 스프링작용력은 진폭의 변화율과 일치함을 알 수 있다. 스프링작용력과 변위의 방향은 회전운동 중인 편심질량이 가리키는 방향과 반대가 됨을 알 수 있었다.

  • Instrumentation and technologies are described for determining the vibration response characteristics of the pear with frequency range 5 to 320Hz. The computer program for controlling the vibration exciter and the function generator and for measuring the vibration response characteristics of the pear was developed. Mechanical properties such bioyield deformation, rupture deformation and apparent elastic modulus etc. were compared with the vibration response characteristics of the pear. The resonant frequency of the pear ranged from 53 to 102Hz and the amplitude at resonance was between 1.08 and 2.48g-rms. The resonant frequency and amplitude at resonance decreased with the increase of the sample mass, and they were slightly affected by mechanical properties such as bioyield deformation and rupture deformation. Regression analysis was performed among the relatively high correlated parameters from the results of correlation coefficient analysis.

  • Vibration problem of deckhouse structure in a container vessel was investigated through the analysis and measurement. The natural frequency of deckhouse structure was found to be resonant with main engine 4th order excitations in the operating range, major sources of which were main engine inertial moment and axial thrust of the propulsion shafting system. To investigate and solve the problem, exciter test was performed to identify the vibration chracteristics of the ship structure and mechanical balancer was installed to compensate the 4th order inertial moment. Measurement results under the conditions with and without balancer operating were compared and analyzed to confirm the balancer effect. Good coincidence was found between the measurement and analysis results, which made it possible to predict the vibration problem in the earlier design stage.

  • Vibration experiments have been performed to observe the analytic characteristics of power How finite element method(PFFEM) for the reinforced cylindrical structure. For this, the vibration experimental results are compared with the numerical solutions obtained by PFFEM in medium-to-high frequency ranges. Input Power into the experimental structure is measured using the impedance head adhered to the exciter, and that input power is used for the vibration analysis. Using the developed PFFEM program(PFADS), the reinforced cylindrical structure modeled by beam and plate elements is analyzed, and very reliable results for PFFEM are obtained by the comparisons of the experimental results.

  • Semiconductor piezoresistive type vibration sensor was fabricated by using semiconductor process and micromachining technology. To measure the micro electromagnetic force between coil and magnet, fabricated vibration sensor was used. Toapply micro electromagnetic force produced from the micro exciter, small-sized NdFeB permanent magnet was attached on the mass of the fabricated vibration sensor. The measured electromagnetic force are about 5~180dyne when the applied sinusoidal current of 1KHz in the range of 1.5~8mA. The measurement of micro electromagnetic forcewas performed by changing the distance between coil and magnet. Output characteristics of micro electromagnetic force according to the applied coil current were linear. Furthermore, output results were used to get the transfer constant that is important to decide the efficiency and the performance of the coil and magnet.
