In this work, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) was used to model the dynamic behavior of ferromagnetic hysteresis derived from performing the mean-field analysis on the Ising model. The effect of field parameters and system structure (via coordination number) on dynamic critical points was elucidated. The Ising magnetization equation was drawn from mean-field picture where the steady hysteresis loops were extracted, and series of the dynamic critical points for constructing dynamic phase-diagram were depicted. From the dynamic critical points, the field parameters and the coordination number were treated as inputs whereas the dynamic critical temperature was considered as the output of the ANN. The input-output datasets were divided into training, validating and testing datasets. The number of neurons in hidden layer was varied in structuring ANN network with highest accuracy. The network was then used to predict dynamic critical points of the untrained input. The predicted and the targeted outputs were found to match well over an extensive range even for systems with different structures and field parameters. This therefore confirms the ANN capabilities and indicates the ANN ability in modeling the ferromagnetic dynamic hysteresis behavior for establishing the dynamic-phase-diagram.
The high degree of academic burnout experienced during academic life indicates that job skill levels during the first year following graduation are low, and the correlation with turnover intention is high. We investigated the effects of clinical practice stress and resilience on nursing students' burnout, and searched for factors that can prevent or control burnout. We recruited a convenience sample of 202 nursing students. Academic burnout, general characteristics, clinical practice stress, and resilience were assessed via self-reported questionnaires. The mean total score of academic burnout was 44.0 points; exhaustion was the highest at 18.5 points, inefficacy was 15.9 points, and cynicism was 9.6 points. High levels of clinical practice stress affected academic burnout (β=0.194, p=0.003), while high resilience was a factor that lowered the degree of academic burnout (β=-0.449, p<0.001). Based on our results, factors affecting students' experiences of academic burnout were clinical practice stress and resilience. We therefore propose the implementation of a new curriculum aimed at increasing satisfaction with the major, reducing clinical practice stress, and increasing resilience, including an efficient peer mentoring program for clinical practice.
The paper presents a feature recognition and segmentation method for surface approximation in reverse engineering. Efficient digitizing plays an important role in constructing a computational surface model from a physical part-surface without its CAD model on hand. Depending on its measuring source (e.g., touch probe or structured light), each digitizing method has its own strengths and weaknesses in terms of speed and accuracy. The final goal of the research focuses on an integration of two different digitizing methods: measuring by the structured light and that by the touch probe. Gathering bulk of digitized points (j.e., cloud-of-points) by use of a laser scanning system, we construct a coarse surface model directly from the cloud-of-points, followed by the segmentation process where we utilize the z-map filleting & differencing to trace out feature boundary curves. The feature boundary curves and the approximate surface model could be inputs to further digitizing by a scanning touch probe. Finally, more accurate measuring points within the boundary curves can be obtained to construct a finer surface model.
A research was conducted on Seoul regional elementary, middle, and high school nutritionists to study about their perception of HACCP control standards & performance conditions and sanitation & safety inspection, to seek for more efficient methods of school meals' sanitation system settlement. All surveys were distributed and collected via email. A total of 305 survey papers were collected, and out of these, 300 school results were analyzed. As for CCP 1 performance conditions, 43.3% of the nutritionist put emphasis on temperature control for cooking duration and 71.0% said that they manage both temperature and PHF food control. In CCP 2 stage, 65.8% of the nutritionists maintained the food's temperature, and 56.7% documented the recordings after cooking. A total of 79.3% of the schools scored above 90 points on school meal sanitation & safety inspection, 3.72 points on necessity for revisions, 3.38 points on objectivity, and 3.34 points on reliability. As for these results, a clear CCP control criteria as well as training must be set. Also, because the necessity of revision for sanitation & safety inspection is higher than reliability and objectivity, appropriate complementary measures must be taken.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the status of the safety system and safety education in institutional foodservices in the Changwon and Masan areas. The survey was conducted from February 1 to March 31, 2009 via questionnaires that were sent to 300 dietitians, and 142 dietitians responded. It was determined that most of the safety managers were 'dietitians (87.1%)', whereas facilities/equipment managers consisted of 'dietitians (45.7%)', 'department of facilities management in the organization (36.4%)' and 'outsourced company of facilities management (17.9%)'. Out of the 11 safety practices, seven safety practices showed less than 50% of total implementation ratio, which meant that the safety systems were not functioning properly. Except for 'non-skid shoes (85.9%)', other safety equipment was seldom used. The survey respondents recognized that safety education was very necessary (4.47 points); however, they responded so-so (3.46 points) to the question of whether or not the actual frequency and time spent on safety education were enough. The average time spent on safety education was 28 minutes 11 seconds. Regarding the difficulties in performing safety education, 'not many safety education materials and media (3.44 points)', 'not many varieties in the subjects and contents for safety education (3.40 points)', and 'not much organizational support on safety education (3.33 points)' showed higher scores than 'lack of education time due to workload (3.20 points)'. The following were cited as education materials that should be developed as it is currently difficult to obtain relevant information and data: 'root causes of musculoskeletal injury and preventive measures (15.8%)', 'healthcare and disease preventive exercises for employees who do simple and repetitive works (14.9%)', and 'instruction on safe handling of chemicals (12.7%)'
Objective : This study was performed to examine the patterns of inpatients that had visited Dept. of Dermatology Hospital of Oriental Medicine, Dongguk University. Methods : We analysed statistic study in 106 patients, who had admitted to the Dept. of Dermatology, Ophthalmology & Otorhinolaryngology Hospital of Oriental Medicine, Dongguk University from July, 2005 to January, 2008. Results : The results were as follows; 1. Males were 50.94% and females were 49.06%. 2. Distribution of aging was 18.87% in twenties and 17.92% in fifties. 3. Common disease group were Facial palsy(33.96%); Atopic dermatitis(21.7%); Tinnitus(7.55%); Sudden Sensorineural Hearing loss(4.72%); Sore throat(5.66%). 4. Average age of Atopic dermatitis patient's average age was 22.22 years old, average hospitalized period were 8.35days and subjective satisfaction rate was 3.44 points on the basis of 4 points. 6. 47.2% of all patient were admitted into the hospital on 1st or 2nd outpatient service and 44% of Facial palsy patient were admitted into the hospital via emergency room. 7. All patient's average hospitalized period were 7.5 days. 8. All patient's subjective satisfaction rate were 2.97 points on the basis of 4 points. Conclusion : This study suggests that oriental medical treatments is especially popular in facial palsy and atopic dermatitis. We have to take steps for effective management and treatment for special diseases and ages.
본 논문에서는 CDS(Cross-Diamond Search algorithm) 및 CDHSs(Cross-Diamond-Hexagonal Search algorithms)의 성능을 향상시키기 위하여 탐색 영역의 위치에 따라 최적의 탐색 형태를 적용하는 CDTS(Cross-Diamond-Triangle Search algorithm)를 제안한다.
Let X be a compact metric space and let |A| denote the cardinality of a set A. We prove that if $f:X{\rightarrow}X$ is a homeomorphism and ${\mid}X{\mid}={\infty}$, then for all ${\delta}$ > 0 there is $A{\subset}X$ such that |A| = 4 and for all $k{\in}\mathbb{Z}$ there are $x,y{\in}f^k(A)$, $x{\neq}y$, such that dist(x, y) < ${\delta}$. An observer that can only distinguish two points if their distance is grater than ${\delta}$, for sure will say that A has at most 3 points even knowing every iterate of A and that f is a homeomorphism. We show that for hyperexpansive homeomorphisms the same ${\delta}$-observer will not fail about the cardinality of A if we start with |A| = 3 instead of 4. Generalizations of this problem are considered via what we call (m, n)-expansiveness.
A new class of finite elements is described for dealing with mesh gradation. The approach employs the moving least square (MLS) scheme to devise a class of elements with an arbitrary number of nodal points on the parental domain. This approach generally leads to elements with rational shape functions, which significantly extends the function space of the conventional finite element method. With a special choice of the nodal points and the base functions, the method results in useful elements with polynomial shape functions for which the $C^1$ continuity breaks down across the boundaries between the subdomains comprising one element. Among those, (4 + n)-noded MLS based finite elements possess the generality to be connected with an arbitrary number of linear elements at a side of a given element. It enables us to connect one finite element with a few finite elements without complex remeshing. The effectiveness of the new elements is demonstrated via appropriate numerical examples.
