This paper deals with the network interface of research and observation instruments in the oceanographic research vessel, an establishment of related database for measured information. The system is implemented to integrated communication network system which allows to effective survey and real time-based observation through the establishment of GUI(Graphic User Interface). The system also consists of the LAN systems and serial interface with chemical, physical, biological, and environmental relations. And, other network service, vessel data service for data communication between vessel and earth station using the INMARSAT-B, and network service(WWW, BBS, E-Mail etc.) are needed for integrated communication network system.

A fetoscope is an optical endoscope, which is often applied in fetoscopic laser photocoagulation to treat twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. In an operation, the clinician needs to observe the abnormal placental vessels through the endoscope, so as to guide the operation. However, low-quality imaging and narrow field of view of the fetoscope increase the difficulty of the operation. Introducing an accurate placental vessel segmentation of fetoscopic images can assist the fetoscopic laser photocoagulation and help identify the abnormal vessels. This study proposes a method to solve the above problems. A novel encoder-decoder network with a dual-path structure is proposed to segment the placental vessels in fetoscopic images. In particular, we introduce a channel attention mechanism and a continuous convolution structure to obtain multi-scale features with their weights. Moreover, a switching connection is inserted between the corresponding blocks of the two paths to strengthen their relationship. According to the results of a set of blood vessel segmentation experiments conducted on a public fetoscopic image dataset, our method has achieved higher scores than the current mainstream segmentation methods, raising the dice similarity coefficient, intersection over union, and pixel accuracy by 5.80%, 8.39% and 0.62%, respectively.

Both enterprise information systems and CAD utilizes the BOM (Bill of Material) as the means of collaborative integration during the product design and production since the BOM has been commonly used for design, production planning, procurement, and production works. Therefore, BOM can be the referential data when it expresses not only the part lists but also product information required by product development process. Outfitting design is one of major design works in marine vessel design since marine vessels have various outfitting systems and huge number of parts. Also, the outfitting BOM has the evolutional forms that change from the initial design to the production design. In order to express the product information and part list in the enterprise BOM and the evolutional BOMs in each lifecycle, enterprise BOM of outfitting that consists of structure BOM and display BOM is suggested. Thereafter, we have developed the prototype of enterprise BOM in which some features of the outfitting BOM are implemented.

Although tracking methods are efficient and popular for vessel segmentation, they require a seed to initiate an instance of tracking. In this paper, a new method to detect new seeds for tracking of arterial segments from CT angiography (CTA) and to construct a vascular structure is proposed. The proposed algorithm is based on shape analysis of connected components in a volume of interest around a vessel segment which was already extracted by tracking. The eigenvalues of the covariance matrix are used as the shape features for detection. The experimental results on actual clinical data showed that the results totally revealed the arterial tree not hindered by bone or veins. In visual comparison to a method which combines registration and subtraction of both pre-contrast and post-contrast CT volumes, the proposed method produced comparable results to the reference method and were confirmed of its feasibility for clinical use of reducing the cost and burden of patients.

In the maritime digital forensic part, it is very important and difficult process that analysis of data and information with vessel navigation system's binary log data for situation awareness of maritime accident. In recent years, anaysis of vessel's navigation system's trajectory information is an essential element of maritime accident investigation for vessel digital forensic process. So, we analysis of maritime navigation systems of vessel and feature of device and environments. In the future, we will research on information of ship's trajectory and movement for useful forensic service.

This study provides a method to detect blood vessels shape using image processing techniques with the help of fluoroscopy equipments, providing high precision information about vessels' location and shape of inner path. It will assist for checking and monitoring the position of operating tools during vascular interventional treatment. The blood vessels shapes are gathered with X-ray images when a fluorescent medications are injected into patient's vessel and those images are processed for getting the boundaries of vessels. Then these data are merged with real-time CT-images. These image processing systems and procedures recognize the catheter, though continued computing algorithms are very useful for observer part on the automatic control system.

Korean e-Navigation is a system that introduced to reduce maritime accidents. In order to reduce marine accidents, Korean e-Navigation provides the following services-"Vulnerable Vessel Monitoring", "Vulnerable Vessel support & monitoring", "Optimal safety route", "ENC Streaming for Small Vessel", "Tug & Barge Support", "Maritime Safety Information Providing". Each Service is a system separated into finctional units and integrated into Korean e-Navigation. Korean e-Navigation is introducing data middleware to integrate each service and the DDS(Data Distribution Service) is judged to be effective. Thus, this paper analyzed the characteristics of DDS middleware types suitable for each service of e-Navigation.
This paper describes visual tracking procedure of the underwater mobile robot for nuclear reactor vessel inspection, which is required to find the foreign objects such as loose parts. The yellowish underwater robot body tends to present a big contrast to boron solute cold water of nuclear reactor vessel, tinged with indigo by Cerenkov effect. In this paper, we have found and tracked the positions of underwater mobile robot using the two color information, yellow and indigo. The center coordinates extraction procedures are as follows. The first step is to segment the underwater robot body to cold water with indigo background. From the RGB color components of the entire monitoring image taken with the color CCD camera, we have selected the red color component. In the selected red image, we extracted the positions of the underwater mobile robot using the following process sequences; binarization, labelling, and centroid extraction techniques. In the experiment carried out at the Youngkwang unit 5 nuclear reactor vessel, we have tracked the center positions of the underwater robot submerged near the cold leg and the hot leg way, which is fathomed to 10m deep in depth.
