자바 바이트코드의 검증을 위한 프레임워크 설계 (A Design of Verification Framework for Java Bytecode)

  • Java bytecode verification is a critical process to guarantee the safety of transmitted Java applet on the web or contemporary embedded devices. We propose a design of framework which enables to analyze and verify java bytecode. The designed framework translates from a java bytecode into the intermediate representation which can specify a properties of program without using an operand stack. Using the framework is able to produce automatically error specifications that could be occurred in a program and express specifications annotated in intermediate representation by a user. Furthermore we design a verification condition generator which converts from an intermediate representation to a verification condition, a verification engine which verifies verification conditions from verification condition generator, and a result reporter which displays results of verification.

  • Multimedia Authoring Tool is a tool for creating multimedia presentations. With this tool, a user can produce playable multimedia documents. A Multimedia Authoring Tool requires input in the form of a spatial layout and a temporal layout. Users can make many mistakes in creating multimedia presentations and verification is required in the Multimedia Authoring process in order to produce multimedia documents. In this study, two verification phases are proposed: Time Computation and Spatiotemporal Conflict Verification. In the experiment conducted for this study, two kinds of verification were carried out: The use of single-phase verification and the use of double-phase verifications. By using these two types of verification, it became easier to successfully detect errors in the spatial and temporal layouts, and the types of verification have also been successful in increasing the success of error detection.

  • 본 연구는 시스템 다이내믹스를 기반으로 해양구조물 분리시스템(Separation system)의 설계검증 방법을 제안하였다. 해양구조물 분리시스템은 부가가치 측면에서 EPC 프로젝트의 성공 여부를 결정할 수 있는 상부구조(Topsides)의 가장 중요한 시스템 중 하나이다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 설계검증에 대한 지금까지의 실태는 설계 작업의 프로세스 진행이나 도면작성 및 제공에 국한되어 있어 기본설계 단계에서 설계검증의 미흡으로 인하여 계약 후 잦은 설계변경에 의한 기업손실이 발생되어 왔다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구의 목적은 해양구조물의 전체 프로젝트 수행 기간에 성공적인 사업수행을 도모하고자 설계검증 모델을 구축하여 적용하도록 하였다. 제안된 설계검증 방법은 상세 설계의 효과적인 실행뿐만 아니라 초기설계 단계에서 기술적 오류나 불일치 사항을 미리 찾아냄으로써 해양구조물의 엔지니어링, 조달 및 건조에 대한 경쟁력을 향상시키는데 기여 할 것으로 예상한다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 건조한 실적선 자료를 바탕으로 설계검증을 수행하여 FPSO 분리시스템에 적용하고 ISO 15288 국제 표준을 준수하였다. 결과적으로, 제안된 설계검증 방법이 해양구조물의 FEED 검증 프로세스에 적용될 수 있으며, 향후 해양 프로젝트의 성공적인 수행에 의한 이익창출을 도모할 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 해양구조물 건조 시 설계변경에 의한 막대한 손실을 최소화 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • The paper aims at presenting a systematic approach process and a method of requirement validation and system verification. Validation is applied during concept development to ensure conceptual validity, requirements validity, and design validity. Verification work is applied subsequent to the design work on test articles and early production items to produce evidence that the design solutions do, in fact, satisfy th requirements. In this paper, we present a requirements validation model and a system verification model. This models are applied to the development of TTX(Tilting Train Express)system with systems engineering tool, CORE.

  • In conventional approaches such as a functinal approach or a parametric approach to online signature verification, which could not deal with the local shape of signature, much various important informations inherent in the local part of signature shape have been overlooked. In this paper, we try a structural approach in which a signature is represented as a structural form of handwriting primitives and the local parts along a signature handwriting can be selectively compared according to their discrimination power in the process of signature verification, As a result, the error rate is diminished in the case that the weights of subpattern units is applied into comparing process, which is the degree of discrimination power of local part. And also, the global variation and complexity of each signature extracted from the analysis of local shape is found useful in determining the decision threshold more precisely.

  • In this paper, the fast force algorithm has been studied so that it is used to calculate cutting forces and to develope the NC verification system. The NC verification using the fast force algorithm can verify excessive cutting force which is the cause of deflection and breakage of tool, and adjust the feed rate and spindle speed.

  • The systems engineering standard process is intended to be customized for a given project environment and system characteristics. This study describes the experience gained by applying systems engineering to government-funded projects. The characteristics of government funded project are lack of common development process among the participating organizations and mechanism to determine system requirements. This study describes the contents of the systems engineering activities, including development of operational concept, system requirements, verification requirements (test cases), test verification plan, and implementation of system test and lessons learned from these activities.

  • Mission Equipment Package(MEP) system is a collection of avionic components that are integrated to perform the mission of the Korean Utility Helicopter(KUH). MEP system development is classified mission-critical embedded system but KUH MEP system developed including flight-critical data implementation. It is important to establish the good development and verification process for the successful system development. This paper describe the development and verification process in each phase for the KUH MEP system. MEP system design is verified through the qualification test, system failure test and compatibility test in System Integration Laboratory(SIL).

  • This paper describes the development of a web-based interference verification system in the mold design process. Although several commercial CAD systems furnish interference verification functions, those systems are very expensive and inadequate to perform collaborative works over the Internet. In this paper, an efficient and precision hybrid interference verification algorithm for the web-based interference verification system over the distributed environment has been studied. The proposed system uses lightweight CAD files produced from the optimally transformed CAD data through ACIS kernel and InterOp. Collaborators related to the development of a new product are able to verify the interference verification over the Internet without commercial CAD systems. The system reduces production cost, errors and lead-time to the market. Validity of the developed system is confirmed through case studies.
