In order to evaluate the performance of TAS applied to the hybrid vehicle of the soft belt driven, acceleration performance and fuel consumption performance is to be superior to the existing vehicle. The key components of belt driven TAS(Torque Assist System), such as the engine, the motor and the battery, The key components of the driven belt TAS, such as the engine, the motor, and the battery, have a significant impact on fuel consumption performance of the vehicle. Therefore, in order to improve the efficiency at the point of view based on the overall system, the study of the power distribution algorithm for controlling the main source powers is necessary. In this paper, we propose the power distribution algorithm, applied the homogeneous analysis method in terms of fuel equivalent, for minimizing the fuel consumption. We have confirmed that the proposed algorithm is contribute to improving the fuel consumption performance satisfied the constraints considering the vehicle status information and the required power through the control parameters to minimize the fuel consumption of the engine. The optimization process of the proposed driving strategy can reduce the trial and error in the research and development process and monitor the characteristics of the control parameter quickly and accurately. Therefore, it can be utilized as a way to derive the operational strategy to minimize the fuel consumption.

C-ITS (Cooperative-Intelligent Transportation System) refers to user safety-oriented technology and systems that provide forward traffic situation information based on a two-way wireless communication technology between vehicles or between vehicles and infrastructure. Since the Daejeon-Sejong pilot project in 2016, the C-ITS infrastructure has been installed at various locations to provide C-ITS safety services through highway and local government demonstration projects. In this study, a methodology was developed to verify the effectiveness of the warning information using individual vehicle data collected through the Gwangju Metropolitan City C-ITS demonstration project. The analysis of the effectiveness was largely divided into driving behavior impact analysis and environmental analysis. Compliance analysis and driving safety evaluation were performed for the driving impact analysis. In addition, to supplement the inadequate collection of Probe Vehicle Data (PVD) collected during the C-ITS demonstration project, Digital Tacho Graph ( DTG ) data was additionally collected and used for effect analysis. The results of the compliance analysis showed that drivers displayed reduced driving behavior in response to warning information based on a sufficient number of valid samples. Also, the results of calculating and analyzing driving safety indicators, such as jerk and acceleration noise, revealed that driving safety was improved due to the provision of warning information.
With recent dispersion of sharing economy, consumption culture of sharing, instead of ownership, gets wide spread in the age groups of 20-30. Even though the market of car sharing expands rapidly, little research has been done in the area of service quality and consumer behavior regarding car sharing services. Given that future market potential gets larger, it seems highly meaningful to conduct research on customer satisfaction and their usage behavior regarding car sharing services. This paper intends to analyze main factors affecting overall customer satisfaction on car sharing services; satisfaction on service quality, satisfaction on service product, and satisfaction on service experience. Each dimension of the three factors is also analyzed to see if there is any differences between major three brands. Further analysis has been done for checking any effects of gender and usage purpose of customers on the overall customer satisfaction. Key results of the analysis show all the three main factors have significant effect on overall customer satisfaction. Each dimension of service quality has significant effect on satisfaction on service quality. Dimensions of parking lot accessability and vehicle maintenance in service product evaluation, have greater effect on satisfaction on service product. In service experience, positive affect have greater effect than negative affect on satisfaction on service experience. Women users perceive larger overall customer satisfaction on car sharing services than men users. On the types of usage purpose, Users with purpose of tour and dating/meeing friends perceive larger overall customer satisfaction on car sharing services than user without it. Further managerial implications of car sharing services are also provided.

In the coming ubiquitous society, the importance of developing advanced public transportation systems (APTS) corresponding to individuals' needs and useful in their daily life is profound. In these regards, the study proposed new APTS services: Free internet access service and On-board real time traffic information service in public modes. A stated preference (SP) survey was performed to investigate individual's preference and willingness-to-pay (WTP) for the proposed APTS services. Multinomial logit models (MNL) incorporating the heterogeneity of respondents were developed to analyze individuals' preference and the difference of WTP. Some results of the study showed that the respondents' preferences were significantly different by in-vehicle travel times (30 min, 60 min) and their socioeconomic background. More respondents prefer new APTS services when invehicle travel time takes longer. For the housewife and self-employed group, the mean WTP for on-board realtime traffic information was higher than that of free internet access services, while for the company employees and students group, the mean WTP was similar in both services.

In these days, various wireless internet services are possible since the advanced wireless networks enable to transfer more data than before and smarter devices have developed to display the multimedia information more efficiently. Therefore, Korean MIPS such as SKT and LGT provide many kinds of advanced services such as wireless on-line shopping, mobile banking system and etc using 2.5 generation wireless network technology and smartcards. In a transportation system, a cellular phone can be used as a useful payment tool since most people always keep it and a mobile payment system has developed as infrastructure for wireless on-line services. In this paper, a mobile transportation payment system is introduced. A driver needs to pay a toll fee when he/she uses the highways. Recently, a high pass system has introduced, in which a vehicle can pass a toll gate without stopping to pay the fee to a counter. The payment is done automatically by an attached payment device. We have developed an advanced mobile system in which a smartcard embedded cellular phone is used as a payment device. The personnel and financial information is stored at a smartcard and the communication between the phone and OBU(On Board Unit) is done by Bluetooth.

As communication technology, an enabling technology for ITS, becomes diversified with DSRC, CDMA, Wireless LAN, it is expected that type and function of ITS services will become gradually expanded. As a result, research and development of a standard platform that can provide support so that numerous communication technologies that are being used in various ITS services to receive various ITS services can be operated in one integrated terminal are being carried out. On Board Unit (OBU) for a recent standard platform was also built and tested recently. However, verification for standard suitability of the standard platform OBU that was developed must be carried out. Standard technology must be realized and sufficient functional and operational testing must be carried out in order to guarantee efficient operation in an actual ITS system and increase utilization of standard technology. Therefore, In this paper we had constructed test road and we had tested a standard platform OBU for a standard application.

Next-generation ITS(Intelligent Transportation System) adopts WAVE(Wireless Access in Vehicular Environment) system which is capable of the bidirectional communication system in vehicular environments. u-Transportation system adopted WAVE communications system to show the optimal performance in terms of various services with regard to vehicle safety and traffic. In this paper, we introduce testbed of ubiquitous-Transportation system and its service. Then, we describe WAVE system for supporting next-generation ITS service. Also, we carried out tests in real road environments in order to verify communication functions of WAVE systems and its performance. We confirmed that our communication systems for supporting services meet the communication performance.
Pedestrian safety was recently highlighted with a yellow carpet, a yellow-colored pavement material prepared for children waiting for signals for pedestrian crossing, without validation of its efficiency in practice. It was a promising device likely to assist highway safety by stimulating pedestrian to step on the yellow-colored area; it was generally called nudge effects. This paper delivers a study conducted to check the effectiveness of yellow carpet in three different aspects in vehicle driver's perspective by applying the newly introduced information technology (IT) service: Visual Attention Software (VAS). It was assumed that VAS developed by 3M in the United States should be able explain the Korean drivers' visual reaction behaviors since technology embedded in VAS was developed based on and proved by other various international countries and continents in the world. A set of pictures was taken at thirteen different field sites in seven school zone areas in the Seoul metropolitan area before and after the installation of a yellow carpet, respectively. Sets of those pictures were analyzed with VAS, and the results were compared based on the selective safety measures: the likely focusing on standing pedestrians (waiting for a pedestrian's green signal time) affected by its background (yellow-colored pavement) contrasting him or her. The test results from a set of before-and-after comparison analyses showed that the placement of yellow carpet would (1) increase 71% of driver's visual attention on pedestrian crossing areas and (2) change the sequential order of visual attention on that area 2.4 steps ahead. The findings would enhance deployment of such promising efficiency and thus increase children safety in pedestrian crossing. The result was promising to highlight the way to support the changes in conservative traffic safety engineering field by applying the advanced IT services, while much robust research was recommended to overcome the limitation of simplification of this study.
The rapid deployment of millions of mobile sensors and smart devices has resulted in high demand for opportunistic encounter-based networking. For the cooperative video surveillance of dashboard cameras in nearby vehicles, a fast and energy-efficient asynchronous neighbor discovery protocol is indispensable because a dashboard camera is an energy-hungry device after the vehicle's engine has turned off. In the existing asynchronous neighbor discovery protocols, all nodes always try to discover all neighbors. However, a dashboard camera needs to discover nearby dashboard cameras when an event is detected. In this paper, we propose a fast and energy-efficient asynchronous neighbor discovery protocol, which enables nodes : 1) to have different roles in neighbor discovery, 2) to discover neighbors within a search range, and 3) to report promptly the exact discovery result. The proposed protocol has two modes: periodic wake-up mode and active discovery mode. A node begins with the periodic wake-up mode to be discovered by other nodes, switches to the active discovery mode on receiving a neighbor discovery request, and returns to the periodic wake-up mode when the active discovery mode finishes. In the periodic wake-up mode, a node wakes up at multiples of number ${\alpha}$, where ${\alpha}$ is determined by the node's remaining battery power. In the active discovery mode, a node wakes up for consecutive ${\gamma}$ slots. Then, the node operating in the active discovery mode can discover all neighbors waking up at multiples of ${\beta}$ for ${\beta}{\leq}{\gamma}$ within ${\gamma}$ time slots. Since the proposed protocol assigns one half of the duty cycle to each mode, it consumes equal to or less energy than the existing protocols. A performance comparison shows that the proposed protocol outperforms the existing protocols in terms of discovery latency and energy consumption, where the frequency of neighbor discovery requests by car accidents is not constantly high.
To offer basic data about the influential factors on patient's Satisfaction level for emergency medical services the authors were performed this study in 60 patients visited to emergency room of third stage general hospital in Taejeon city. Data were collected through interview with patients by using a 15 items' questionaire according to care subscale, teaching subscale of Likert's five stage quantitative scale and the tools developed by Barbara Davis. The data were analyzed by using the SPSS/PC computerized program for mean, standard deviation, percentage, ANOVA, t-test, and pearson correlation. The results are as followings ; 1. Satisfaction of emergency medical service were showed in care area, but not showed in teaching and total area 2. Satisfaction of sociodemographic characteristics were a statistically significant difference only marriage, that were the higher in marriaged than single(P<.0.05). 3. In the emergency situation characteristics the satisfaction accordings to the visit cause were lower in accident than disease group, the reason of hospital selection were in order trust, introduction group, distance, traffic, kinds, and score of satisfaction were showed each of 43.47, 51.27(P<.001), the transportation vehicle was the 119, hospital ambulance group. but were not a satistically significant difference. 4. The negative correlation was observed between satisfaction and the length of stay at ER and the longer length of stay at ER was showed the lower satisfaction. But the positive correlation was observed between satisfacton and the arrival time, patients who arrived ER from 6:00P.M. to midnight were more satisfied than patients who arrived other time. 5. The length of stay at ER was significantly different according to the reason of hospital selection, the reason of ER selection, the visitant cause and hopital decisioner. Especially the length of stay was much longer in accident group and unconscious group.
