국내 과실의 택배 유통환경 특성 (Characteristics of Domestic Distribution Environment for Parcel Delivery Service of Fruits)

  • Agricultural products packaged for transportation are put in the various dangerous environments owing to the damage factors like vibration, shock, compression, climate etc. under the distribution process. On fruits packaging for transportation, especially, the shock and vibration is considered as the most important damage factors. A major cause of shock damage to fruits is drops during manual handling. Especially, the damages of fruits during the parcel delivery service are very serious. The parcel delivery services of fruits are increasing and contribute to increasing of farm house earning. Also, the freight vehicle is mostly used to transport the fruits. Shock and impact generated by the freight vehicle may give serious damage to fruits. The optimum packaging design of parcel delivery service of fruits during transportation is required to reduce the fruits damages. In order to design the packaging system for parcel delivery service of fruits considering the transportation environment, the comprehension of characteristics for vibration and shock generated by manual handling and acting on transportation vehicles under various road conditions and loading methods is required. This research was performed to analyze the shock characteristics, acceleration level and power spectral density (PSD) during the parcel delivery service of fruits. The overall level of recommended PSD profile in a specific transportation of parcel delivery service for fruits was $0.63G_{rms}$.

라이시안 페이딩 환경에서 단거리전용통신(DSRC) 시스템의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Dedicated Short Range Communication System on the Rician Fading Channel)

  • 본 논문에서는 지능형 교통망 시스템 서비스에 사용될 5.8GHz 대역에서 OFDM을 이용한 단거리 전용 통신 시스템의 성능 평가 및 분석하였다. DSRC 채널은 차량의 이동 속도가 최대 180km/h 로 빠른 속도를 가지며, 이로 인하여 핸드 오프가 발생하지 않을 경우, 다양한 정보를 제공하기에는 서비스 시간이 매우 짧다. 따라서, 교통정보와 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스 등을 하기 위해서 더 높은 전송속도가 요구되며, 현재 차세대 DSRC 시스템의 데이터 전송 속도는 10Mbps 이상으로 추진되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 라이시안 채널에서의 수신 신호를 컴퓨터 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 실험하였고, BCH 부호화 기법을 적용하여 시스템의 성능을 분석하였다.

  • Automotive systems have tended to be equipped with many electronic contents to satisfy safety, comport, convenience, and entertainment services over the past years. As a result, the amount of vehicle embedded software in electrical/electronic(E/E) systems is steadily increasing to manage these requirements. This leads to the traditional, document-based software development in the vehicle embedded systems being increasingly displaced by a model-based development in order to reduce software development time and cost. Due to the application of model-based development, a great evolution is being realized in the aspect of efficiency, but the development is being made without sufficient testing. So, erroneous automotive embedded software may cause serious problems such as car accidents which relate to human safety. Therefore, efficient methods for model-based test and validation are needed to improve software reliability in the stage of embedded software development. This paper presents the model-based development and test method for AUTOSAR embedded software to improve its reliability and safety, and it is demonstrated based on the case study.

AHP와 QFD를 이용한 철도기술 개선에 관한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study of Railroad Technology Improvement Using AHP and QFD)

  • Purpose: This study aims to determine the needs of customers who use railroads as a mode of transportation and propose customer-oriented improvements in railroad technology by making connections between customer needs and railroad technology. Methods: We primarily used two methods for this study, AHP and QFD. First, AHP was used to evaluate the relative importance among the different components of railroad technology. Second, the QFD was applied to make a link between customer needs and railroad technology. Results: Railroad technology is largely divided into development, maintenance, and support. Empirical results showed the following improvement priorities in development, vehicle, system, line, signal/communication, power, and structure, in maintenance, vehicle, signal/communication, line, process, power, and structure, and in support, safety/precaution, management, environmental energy, operations/logistics, and station. Conclusion: Recognizing limitations in measuring the level of railroad technology when using the existing 'Technology Growth Model,' we used AHP and QFD to explore improvement directions for customer-oriented railroad technology. By offering customer-oriented services based on this study, railroad service providers will be able to acquire competitive advantage in the market.

철도차량 수를 유연하게 구성할 수 있는 통신시스템 구현 (Implementation of Communication to Flexibly Configure the Number of Railway Cars)

  • This paper presents the implementation for a network structure of railway cars using a point to point communication. Most of network's representative specifications for a train are the FIP (Field Bus), MVB (Multifunction Vehicle Bus), CAN and WTB (Wire Train Bus) which is used by ALSOM, SIEMENS and BOMBADIER as major in this field. These networks in a physical layer use a multi-drop method, connected from $1^{st}$ car to $n^{th}$ car of a train through a cable without any extra services such as an electric part, amplifier. However waveforms which is passed through a long cable in the multi-drop are distorted by a capacitance or resistance of the cable or environments. Also since using a cable connected directly from $1^{st}$ car to $n^{th}$ car, if over two trains make double head, it isn't easy to distinguish ID for each railway cars. So by using the point to point network per each car, it is able to reduce a distortion. Also since reducing distortion, this communication speed can be been higher and transmit and receive any packets more stably. Using proposed token in a packet, this can make ID per each railway car automatically. Finally experimental results show the good performance and effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • IEEE WAVE는 고속 이동 중인 차량 네트워크에서 운전자 안전 정보 및 상업적 서비스를 제공하기 위한 무선 전송 기술로써 현재 표준화가 활발히 진행 중이다. 본 논문에서는 IEEE WAVE를 기반으로 하는 안전운전 지원 서비스를 위한 응용계층 프로토콜과 이를 기반으로 하는 응용 시스템을 소개한다. 본 논문에서 다루는 안전운전 지원 서비스로는 공사구간 정보 서비스 및 사고차량 신고 서비스, 응급차량 알림 서비스, 프로브 서비스, 딜레마구간 의사결정 지원 서비스를 포함한다. 시스템의 기능 검증을 위하여 에뮬레이터 시스템을 구현하였으며 에뮬레이터는 차량과 도로의 모든 상황을 관리하는 에뮬레이터 서버와 각각의 기능 개체(차량 및 노변, 교통 센터)를 포함하는 클라이언트로 구성된다.

자동차 환경에서 스마트 모바일 블랙박스 DVR (Smart Mobile Blackbox DVR in Car Environment)

  • 본 논문에서는 사고 자동인식 서비스 제공과 위험 운전 여부 등을 통하여 운전자의 운전습관을 교정해 주고 사고 전후의 동영상을 재현하는 확장성이 높은 모바일 블랙박스 DVR (SMBD, Smart Mobile Blackbox DVR) 컴퓨터의 모델링 설계를 하였다. SMBD는 임베디드 시스템에 무선 기능을 탑재하여 차량이 휴면상태에서도 사고발생 지점과 영상정보를 무선통신을 이용하여 24시간 관제센터에 통보함으로써 긴급구난 서비스 및 교통정보를 제공 받을 수 있다. 또한 차량 ECU(Electronic Control Unit)의 차량정보 및 센서 데이터와 연동하여 무선 eCall (Emergency Call) 서비스를 실현할 수 있다.

고속 이동체에서 위성 광대역 인터넷 서비스를 위한 Cross Layer 부호화 방식 (A Study on Satellite Broadband Internet Services In High-Speed Vehicle)

  • 본 논문에서는 이동체에 대한 위성방송 및 인터넷 서비스를 지속적으로 제공하기 위해 기존의 DVB-S2 표준화에 DVB-H와 DVB-T를 결합한 새로운 DVB-S2M 표준화에 대한 연구를 하며, 여기서 생기는 deep fading을 극복하기 위한 방안에 대해 연구하였으며, 새로운 이동형 DVB-S2의 규격은 deep fading으로 인해 physical layer 부호화 방식과 upper layer 부호화 방식을 적용한 cross layer 부호화 방식을 적용시키고, DVB-S2 short frame의 부호화 방식을 physical layer 부호화 방식으로 고정시키고 upper layer 부호화 방식을 변화시키면서 성능 분석하였다. 아울러 이동체의 속도에 따라, 데이터 전송속도, 그리고 packet size에 따라 성능 분석하였다.

Block-VN: A Distributed Blockchain Based Vehicular Network Architecture in Smart City

  • In recent decades, the ad hoc network for vehicles has been a core network technology to provide comfort and security to drivers in vehicle environments. However, emerging applications and services require major changes in underlying network models and computing that require new road network planning. Meanwhile, blockchain widely known as one of the disruptive technologies has emerged in recent years, is experiencing rapid development and has the potential to revolutionize intelligent transport systems. Blockchain can be used to build an intelligent, secure, distributed and autonomous transport system. It allows better utilization of the infrastructure and resources of intelligent transport systems, particularly effective for crowdsourcing technology. In this paper, we proposes a vehicle network architecture based on blockchain in the smart city (Block-VN). Block-VN is a reliable and secure architecture that operates in a distributed way to build the new distributed transport management system. We are considering a new network system of vehicles, Block-VN, above them. In addition, we examine how the network of vehicles evolves with paradigms focused on networking and vehicular information. Finally, we discuss service scenarios and design principles for Block-VN.

항만컨테이너터미널 게이트 입/출입 관리에서의 RFID 적용에 관한 실증 연구 (An empirical study on RFID application to the container terminal gate management system)

  • We conduct an empirical study on RFID application to a real container terminal gate. The objective of this study is three-fold. The first is to design a new gate management process that applies RFID technology. For this purpose, we analyze current gate management process to find opportunities for improvement. The second is to verify the 433 and 900 Mhz RFID technology in terms of the recognition rate of information contained in RFID tag under various conditions such as the speed of vehicle, the position of RFID tag and the tilt of RFID reader. We perform some experimental tests for this verification. Finally, we try to find suitable conditions for the speed of vehicle, the position of RFID tag and the tilt of RFID tag reader based on results of the experimental tests. Those findings are obtained with some ANOVA tests. Additionally, we summarize anticipated issues when applying RFID technology to the gate management process and possible solutions for the issues.
