저속충돌시험을 통한 차량용 가스튜브범퍼의 복원수리비 절감효과에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Repairing Cost Down Effects of the Car Bumper Systems with Gas tube in a Low Speed Crash Test)

  • We have found that the damage of the front part for a vehicle and that of the rear part for a vehicle are the majority of frequency experienced by the traffic accidents. In conventional bumper system was designed by safety standard regulation at low speed crash. For example there are 2.5 mile and 5 mile bumper. The conventional bumper system was the crash from max 5.5 mile to 3 mile low speed occurs most frequently and results in the highest rate of repairing cost in statistically. On this study, in order to check the damageability and repairability of gas tube bumper system RCAR 15 km/h 40 % offset frontal crash test was adopted in low speed and we have a gas tube bumper parts test and vehicle test with gas tube bumper, we can find gas tube bumper system definitely can improve the damageability and repairability of the vehicles and contribute to down the repairing cost.

신호장치에 의한 ATS 신호장치 오동작 방지에 대한 연구 (A Study about Preventing Improper Working of Equipment on ATS System by Signaling Equipment)

  • Promotion of the line no.2 in Seoul Metro was changing from the existing signaling facilities for ATS(Automatic Train Stop) vehicles to the up-to-date signaling facilities for ATO(Automatic Train Operation). But, in consequence of conducting a trial run after being equipped with the ATO signaling facilities, the matter related to mix-operation with the existing ATS signaling facilities appeared. The operation of the existing ATS signaling system in combination with the ATO signaling system has made improper working related to frequency recognition of the ATS On-board Computerized Equipment. This obstructs operation of a working ATS vehicle. That is, as barring operation of an ATS vehicle that should proceed, it may make the proceeding ATS vehicle stop suddenly and after all, it will cause safety concerns. In this paper, we designed a wayside track occupancy detector that previously prevents improper working related to frequency recognition of the ATS On-board Computerized Equipment by gripping classification and working processes of operating trains throughout transmission of local signaling information from the existing facilities, which does not need to change or replace the existing signaling facilities. Furthermore, we described general characteristics of the wayside track occupancy detector and modeled the IFC(InterFace Contrivance) device and the logical circuit recognizing signal information. Then, we made an application program of PLC(programmable Logic Computer) based on the stated model. We, in relation to data transfer method, used the frame in TCP/IP transfer mode as the standard, and we demonstrated that ATO transmission frequency is intercepted.

스위벨 밸브 튜브 커플러의 성능 향상을 위한 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on the Improvement of the Performance of Swivel Valve Tube Couplers)

  • In this study, we improved problems in the existing product by PARKER and developed the swivel valve tube couplers that can be produced by a low price in Korea. The major development was that a modulized production method was implemented by introducing a part assembling method that uses a cocking jig, and the production cost was reduced by operating the production process more simply than that of PARKER. Also, it was possible to avoid the patient registered by PARKER through the differences in the number of grooving processes and the type of o-ring. In the results of the rotation test by varying its application angle after installing it to a vehicle, it was verified that the structure proposed in this study can endure the eccentric torque and transformation pressure for various angles that have been considered as the problem in the existing fixed tube couplers. In addition, the structure was developed to adopt the problem that represents differences in the installation position of an air tank or the length and direction of hoses according to the type of vehicles produced in vehicle manufacturers. Furthermore, it was possible to verify that the product developed in this study was more excellent than that of PARKER through comparing the performance according to the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard.

실동응력 측정을 통한 전동차 대차프레임의 내구수명 평가 (Evaluation of Total Serviceable Life of Bogie Frame of Electric Multiple Unit by Dynamic Strain Measurement)

  • Bogie frame is typical safety part of railway vehicle. Total serviceable life of bogie frame will be evaluated by Cumulative Damage Approach Method that is defined by dynamic strain measurement during revenue service under the actual track conditions. As a result of the standardization process developed in British Standard Institution, BS 7608 defines for fatigue design and test method of steel structure by fatigue test results over the long period. This paper evaluates the total serviceable life applying BS 7608 for the bogie frame of Electric Multiple Unit to verify structural safety of the bogie frame.

한국형 틸팅열차용 주행장치 프레임의 구조적 안전성 평가에 관한 시험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Bogie Frame of Tilting Railway Vehicle for Assessment of Structural Safety)

  • This paper investigated strength of a bogie frame for Korean tilting train that is being developed in KRRI. In this study, static load tests based on Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) were performed. In order to simulate vertical and lateral components generated by tilting link mechanism, four hydraulic actuators were used. The eight load cases such as vertical, lateral, traction, braking and driving gear loads were applied for evaluation of the strength of bogie frame. The stresses measured at the stress concentration points were assessed using Goodman diagram. From the experimental results, structural safety of the bogie frame could be ensured.

충격흡수시설의 탑승자보호 성능평가 기준에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Injury Criteria of the Occupant Protection Performance of Crush Cushions)

  • The performance of crash cushion systems is certified through the full scale crash tests by the standard for installation and maintenance guidelines for roadside safety appurtenance. The impact severities of impacting vehicles in collision with crash cushion systems are rated by indices THIV and PHD. Crash test results are considered to study the performance of three crash cushion systems. In case of the frontal impact or the offset frontal impact, the results show that THIV values of three systems are very close to the threshold limit for the occupant protection. Also, the results show that PHD would be improper for the occupant protection performance index. In order to improve the occupant protection performance of crash cushions, ASI needs to be included in the impact severity index.

대형 버스의 전복 해석과 측정법 (Rollover Analysis and Measurement of a Large-sized Bus)

  • The safety problems of buses have been arisen due to the increasing of road traffic. Occupant injuries are always possible in the rollover accident and the frontal impact. Thus the structure of bus should have sufficient strength to protect passengers under accidental loads. ECE(Economic Commission for Europe) regulation No.66 prescribes that the superstructure of the vehicle shall be sufficient strength for passengers' surviving and the residual space shall be preserved in the passenger compartment during and after the standard rollover accident situation. Rollover test and simulation on a large-sized bus was completed according to the regulation. The coordinates of the points on the bus were measured by photogrammetry system. The rollover situation was revived by structural crashes simulation software, PAM-CRASH, and it was checked that the structure still complied with the requirements of residual space during rollover situation. The residual space was preserved during rollover, so it was proved that the structure of the investigated bus had much probability of survival in rollover accidents.

  • Recently, according to the total quality management environment, the necessity of the systematic administration about the quality information is gradually enlarged as to vehicle related company. Accordingly, related companies require the operation of the information management system matched with the quality administration task level. And through the storage and share of the efficient quality information, they try to solve the customer claim about the quality and prevent the quality problem recurrence of product. This research suggests the standard business process of the auto part supplier for the efficient management of the quality information and the quick correspondence of the quality problem. In addition, by building and managing the quality information management system will be able to expect the more efficient quality management and the product reliability insurance.

  • As a result of the technological advances in the E / E system, automotive system can provide advanced functions for safety and comfort. In addition, mechanical systems is changed to the electronic system. And the systems perform cooperative functions through communication. So the E / E system becomes more complicated as the size of the system increases. In order to secure the safety of complicated E / E system, ISO26262 standard require that Freedom from Interference and Sufficient Independence be met. In this paper, we propose a software scheduling method that can guarantee the independence between decomposed components after software decomposition and software development of ASIL D level EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) system.

  • 현재 주차장 내 주차단위구획과 차로너비 규정의 경우 주차장법 시행규칙의 '주차장 구조 및 설치기준'에 의거하여 계획설치되고 있다. 그러나 최근 RV차량 및 대형승용차가 급속히 증가하는 추세에서, 기존의 주차단위구획의 설치기준으로는 주차시 발생하는 차량훼손 민원, 주차장 이용자의 통행불편, 주차장 유지 관리 등의 문제를 해소하기 힘든 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 현실에 적합한 주차단위구획과 차로너비 규정의 재정비가 필요하다는 판단 하에, 최근 증가하는 국내 외 RV차량 및 대형승용차의 차량제원, 최소 회전반경, 주차시 운전자 주행행태 등을 고려하여 주차단위구획 및 차로너비를 산정하였다. 산정된 주차단위구획 및 차로너비를 국외 사례와 비교 분석한 후, 기존보다 확대된 주차단위구획 및 차로너비를 이용하여 주차시 운전자의 편의성 및 비용적 측면을 고려한 최적의 개선방안을 제시하였다. 또한, 교통안전을 고려한 주차단위구획과 차로너비의 개선방안, 그리고 차종별 주차계획 방법을 제시하였다. 주차장 내 원활한 차량소통과 안전을 도모한 주차계획단위 산정 및 주차계획 방법을 제시함으로써, 향후 주차장의 구조, 설치기준의 정립과 주차장 교통안전 개선에 이바지할 것으로 판단된다.
