This paper implements an integrated vehicle chassis system of ACC(Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKS(Lane Keeping System) based on OSEK OS to vehicle operating system and analyzes its performance through experiments. In recent years active safety and advanced driver assistance system has discussed to improve safety of vehicle. Among the rest, We integrate ACC that controls longitudinal velocity of vehicle and LKS that assists a vehicle in maintaing its driving lane, then implement integrated control system in vehicle. Implemented control system uses OSEK/VDX proposed standard, which is aiming at reusability and safety of software for vehicle and removal hardware dependence of application software. Redesigned control system based on OSEK OS, which is supported by OSEK/VDX, can manage real-time task, process interrupt and manage shared resource. We show by results performed EILS(ECU-In-the-Loop Simulation) that OSEK OS-based integrated controller of ACC and LKS is equivalent conventional integrated controller of ACC and LKS.

It comes into the spotlight as the new Blue Ocean in which the connected car industry in which the car and mobile communication technology is convergence. All sorts of infortainments services connecting with the portable electronic device(Smart phone, tablet PC, and MP3 player) and car are rapidly grown. The Connected car emphasizes the vehicle connectivity with the concept that the car has communication with the around on a real time basis and it provides the safety and expedience to the operator and using the thing of Internet (IoT) in the car and supports the application, presently, the entertainment service including the real-time Navigation, parking assistant function, not only the remote vehicle control and management service but also Email, multimedia streaming service, SNS and with the platform. Intelligent vehicle network is studied as the kind according to MANET(Mobile Ad Hoc Network) for the safety operation of the cars of the road and improving the efficiency of the driving.
The purpose of this study is to analyse motor vehicle communication network hacking attacks and to provide its prevention. First, the definition of motor vehicle communication network was provided and types of in-vehicle communication network were discussed. Also, bluetooth hacking attack cases were analysed in order to illustrate dangers of hacking attacks. Based on the analysis, two preventive measures were provided. First, Motor Vehicle Safety Standard Law should be revised. Although the law provides the definition of electronic control system and its standards as well as manufacturing and maintenance for safe driving standards, the law does not have standards for electronic control system hacking prevention and defensive security programs or firmware. Second, to protect motor vehicle communication network, it is necessary to create new laws for motor vehicle communication network protection.
Recently, automobile industries have developed ADAS, smart cars, connected cars, automated driving systems, which use a variety of sensor systems - ultrasonics, cameras, lidars and radars - and communication systems. It is necessary to examine the electromagnetic immunity of vehicles equipped with those systems. The electromagnetic immunity tests are carried out in an electromagnetic semi anechoic chamber, which is cut off from the outside. It is difficult to create test environments in which the radar sensor systems of vehicles work properly in the test chamber. In this study, test jigs were designed and tested and as a result they are shown to be effective to create test environments for electromagnetic immunity tests of vehicles equipped with radar sensors. We also proposed additional safety standards for immunity tests of vehicles with radar systems that currently do not exist.
Recently, autonomous vehicles have been studied actively. Autonomous vehicles can detect objects around them using their on board sensors, estimate collision probability and maneuver to avoid colliding with objects. Many algorithms are suggested to prevent collision avoidance. However there are limitations of complex and diverse environments because algorithm uses only the information of attached environmental sensors and mainly depends on TTC (time-to-Collision) parameter. In this paper, autonomous driving algorithm using I2V communication-based cooperative sensing information is developed to cope with complex and diverse environments through sensor fusion of objects information from infrastructure camera and object information from equipped sensors. The cooperative sensing based autonomous driving algorithm is implemented in autonomous shuttle bus and the proposed algorithm proved to be able to improve the autonomous navigation technology effectively.

Recently, the use of electric and electronic control systems is increasing in the automobile industry. This increase in the electric and electronic control system greatly increases the complexity of designing a vehicle, which leads to an increase in the malfunction of the system, and a safety problem due to the malfunction is becoming an issue. Based on IEC 61508 relating to the functional safety of electrical/electronic/programmable electronics, the ISO 26262 standard specific to the automotive sector was first established in 2011, and a revision was published in 2018. Malfunctions due to system failure are covered by ISO 26262, but ISO/PAS 21448 is proposed to deal with unintended malfunctions caused by changes in the surrounding environment. ISO 26262 sets out safety-related requirements for the entire life cycle. Functional safety analysis includes FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), and HAZOP (Hazard and Operability). These analysis have limitations in dealing with failures or errors caused by complex interrelationships because it is assumed that a failure or error affecting the risk occurs by a specific component. In order to overcome this limitation, it is necessary to apply the STPA (System Theoretic Process Analysis) technique.

WAVE(Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments) is a representative V2V communication protocol and its standards of MAC and PHY parts except for security were published. In order to control traffic flow and ensure driver's safety using V2V communication, various projects are conducting. In particular, safety application has been researched. Therefore, in this paper, we designed the safety application algorithm, which informs a driver of the dangerous status when driver tries to turn left in an intersection and we also implemented the algorithm. Proposed algorithm configures a model for a host vehicle and a vehicle coming in opposite lane and in case that there is collision hazard it provides warning message to driver by using HMI. In order to evaluate the proposed algorithm's performance, we configured the test bed using test vehicles and we tested the algorithm on proving ground with the composed test scenarios. As test results, our system showed excellent performance. If the infrastructures for V2I communications are constructed, we will optimize our system more precisely and stably.

In this paper, we plan to design and manufacture a new sleeping child check system using image and PIR sensors. Therefore, it plans to implement a system that can prevent in-vehicle accidents that can occur due to presence of human and certain temperature inside the vehicle by collecting data from PIR sensors and temperature sensors with the main control device based on Arduino. In addition, the values of sensors can be linked with Bluetooth communication or Wi-Fi communication to send information to the mobile phone, and the sensor values can be printed by texting on the screen. It also plans to use raspberry pie and camera modules to build a display and smartphone streaming service inside the vehicle. Through this, the objective of this study is to prevent safety accidents in school vehicles by making experiments and research in this paper recognize 100% inside the vehicle with the quantitative goal of PIR sensors.

With the development of autonomous driving technology, as the use of software in vehicles increases, the complexity of the system increases and the difficulty of development increases. Developments that meet ISO 26262 must be carried out to reduce the malfunctions that may occur in vehicles where the system is becoming more complex. ISO 26262 for the functional safety of the vehicle industry proposes to consider functional safety from the design stage to all stages of development. Specifically at the software level, the requirements to be complied with during development and the requirements to be complied with during verification are defined. However, it is not clearly expressed about specific design methods or development methods, and it is necessary to supplement development guidelines. The importance of analysis and verification of requirements is increasing due to the development of technology and the increase of system complexity. The vehicle industry must carry out developments that meet functional safety requirements while carrying out various development activities. We propose a process that reflects the perspective of system engineering to meet the smooth application and developmentrequirements of ISO 26262. In addition, the safety analysis/verification FMEA processforthe safety of the proposed ISO 26262 function was conducted based on the FCAS (Forward Collision Avoidance Assist System) function applied to autonomous vehicles and the results were confirmed. In addition, the safety analysis/verification FMEA process for the safety of the proposed ISO 26262 function was conducted based on the FCAS (Forward Collision Avoidance Assist System) function applied to the advanced driver assistance system and the results were confirmed.
Autonomous cars require the integration of multiple communication systems for driving safety. Many carmakers unveil mirrorless concept cars aiming to replace rear and sideview mirrors in vehicles with camera monitoring systems, which eliminate blind spots and reduce risk. This paper presents optical vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications for autonomous mirrorless cars. The flicker-free light emitting diode (LED) light sources, providing illumination and data transmission simultaneously, and a high speed camera are used as transmitters and a receiver in the OCC link, respectively. The rear side vehicle transmits both future action data and vehicle type data using a headlamp or daytime running light, and the front vehicle can receive OCC data from the camera that replaces side mirrors so as not to prevent accidents while driving. Experimental results showed that action and vehicle type information were sent by LED light sources successfully to the front vehicle's camera via the OCC link and proved that OCC-based V2V communications for mirrorless cars can be a viable solution to improve driving safety.
