Typical temperature control methods of a cooler for machine tools are hot-gas bypass and compressor variable speed control. The hot-gas bypass system has been widely used to control the cooler temperature in many general industrial fields. On the contrary, the compressor variable speed control is focused on special fields such as aerospace and high precision machine tools which need high precision control. The variable speed control system usually has two control variables such as target temperature and superheat. In other words, the variable speed control system is basically multi-input multi-output(MIMO) system. In spite of MIMO system, the proportional integral derivative(PID) feedback control methodology that based on single-input single-output (SISO) system is generally used for designing the variable speed control system. Therefore, it is inevitable to describe transfer functions for dynamic behaviors of every controlled variables and decide the PID gains with tremendous iteration process. Moreover, the designed PID gains do not provide optimum system performances. To solve these problems, high performance controller design method based on a state space model is suggested in this paper. An optimum controller is designed to minimize both control errors and energy inputs. This method was more simple to describe dynamic behaviors and easier to design the cooler controller which is MIMO system.

차선 마킹 검출은 지능형 운송 시스템(ITS, intelligent transportation systems), 운전자 보조 시스템(DAS, driver assistant systems) 등에 필수적인 요소이다. 이 논문에서는 스케일 공간 기법을 이용하여 기존의 기법들에 비해 견고한 차선 마킹 검출기법을 제안한다. 차선 마킹 검출에 많이 사용되고 있는 지역 통계 기반 가변적 문턱처리 기법은 밝기 특성이 두드러진 객체의 검출에 유리하므로 차선 마킹 검출에 효과적일 수 있다. 그러나 통계적 특징만으로는 무관한 영역도 함께 검출되므로, 이 논문에서는 가변적 문턱처리 결과와 함께 수평 1D LoG 필터링 스케일 공간을 합성하여 차선 마킹 후보 영역을 축소하는 기법을 제안한다. 실제 영상에 대해 가변적 문턱처리뿐만 아니라 차선 마킹 검출을 위한 또 다른 대표적인 기법인 하프 변환을 사용하는 기법과도 비교한 결과, 뚜렷한 차선 마킹 후보 영역 축소를 확인할 수 있었다.

In this paper, we propose a method for realizing transfer functions containing variable parameter, by the state-space method. By using this method, variable transfer functions (VTF) can be often realized with a minimal dimension. In case that a minimal realization can not be obtained, the realization dimension can be fairly reduced.

In this paper, an algorithm to extract bar-space area is suggested. In a section of bar-code space area the threshold value is computed, and bar and space are extracted according to threshold value. PDF417 is used everyday life and printed in many different materials. The printed PDF417 is especially influenced by various light source. The decision of bar and space is very hard under the change of illumination. The fixed threshold value to distinguish the bar and space can not be applied. in these cases, The proposed algorithm is developed to investigate variable threshold. The variable threshold can be obtained by simple calculation.

In this paper, the fractional Hardy-type operator of variable order ${\beta}(x)$ is shown to be bounded from the Herz-Morrey spaces $M\dot{K}^{{\alpha},{\lambda}}_{p_1,q_1({\cdot})}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ with variable exponent $q_1(x)$ into the weighted space $M\dot{K}^{{\alpha},{\lambda}}_{p_2,q_2({\cdot})}(\mathbb{R}^n,{\omega})$, where ${\omega}=(1+|x|)^{-{\gamma}(x)}$ with some ${\gamma}(x)$ > 0 and $1/q_1(x)-1/q_2(x)={\beta}(x)/n$ when $q_1(x)$ is not necessarily constant at infinity. It is assumed that the exponent $q_1(x)$ satisfies the logarithmic continuity condition both locally and at infinity that 1 < $q_1({\infty}){\leq}q_1(x){\leq}(q_1)+$ < ${\infty}(x{\in}\mathbb{R}^n)$.

In the region of the open cluster M48 (NGC 2548), time-series BV CCD images were taken for 22 nights from February 28 in 2008 to March 17 in 2011. From this observation, we found 10 new variable stars. They include five eclipsing binaries, an RR Lyrae, two ${\delta}$ Scuti, and two semi-periodic and/or slow irregular type variable stars. We fail to find the member stars of the open cluster among the 10 variable stars.

Time-series observations were carried out using a 155mm refractor and a $2k{\times}3k$ CCD camera at Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory. We found 38 new variable stars in the $2.3^{\circ}{\times}2.4^{\circ}$ region around the Cepheid variable TU Cas: 22 eclipsing binary stars, 11 ${\delta}$ Scuti type stars and an RR Lyrae star, and 4 unclassified variables.

The aim of this paper is to obtain the general solution of the 2-variable radical functional equations $f({\sqrt[k]{x^k+z^k}},\;{\sqrt[{\ell}]{y^{\ell}+w^{\ell}}})=f(x,y)+f(z,w)$, x, y, z, w ∈ ℝ, for f a mapping from the set of all real numbers ℝ into a vector space, where k and ℓ are fixed positive integers. Also using the fixed point result of Brzdęk and Ciepliński [11, Theorem 1] in (2, 𝛽)-Banach spaces, we prove the generalized hyperstability results of the 2-variable radical functional equations. In the end of this paper we derive some consequences from our main results.
