저surge 진공 차단기용 Te 전극 제조 (Production of Te Electrode for Low Surge Vacuum Circuit Breaker)

  • As electrode materials like as Cu-Pb, Cu-Bi, WC-Ag, W-Ag for vacuum circuit breaker have high chopping current or bad insulation-recovery characteristics, it can affect induction machinery like as transformer and motor. To produce low surge electrode material, it have been suggested Co-Ag-Te electrode which were infiltrated with Ag-Te intermetallic compound into sintered Co matrix in vacuum. In this paper, we would like to represent that production method and microstructure of Co-Ag-Te electrode material in each condition. The microstructure and characteristics of Ag-Te intermetallic compound and Co-(Ag-Te) electrode were investigated by using optical microscope, SEM, XRD, EPMA.

실험 계획법을 이용한 진공 차단기의 동특성 최적화 (Dynamic Responses Optimization of Vacuum Circuit Breaker Using Taghchi Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 진공 차단기(Vacuum circuit breaker)의 동적 특성을 모사하기 위해 리커다인을 이용한 다물체 동역학 해석 모델이 개발 되었다. 진공 차단기는 VI(Vacuum interrupter)를 포함한 3 개의 주회로 부와, 구동 메커니즘을 포함한 기구부로 구성된다. 이 해석적 모델의 검증을 위해, 해석 결과와 실측을 통한 실험적 결과를 비교 하였다. 일반적으로, 원활한 사고 전류 차단을 위해서는 0.9~1.1m/s 의 차단속도(Opening velocity)가 필요하다. 차단 속도의 향상을 위해, 다구찌 기법을 이용하여 진공 차단기의 설계 변수 최적화를 수행하였다. 또한 향상된 차단기의 동적 특성을 검증하기 위해, 해석 결과와 개선된 샘플의 실험적 결과를 비교 분석 하였다.

  • 국제규격에 따라 VCB(vacuum circuit breaker), ACB(air circuit breaker), 등과 같은 전력기기들의 기계적 동작 시험 시, 시험전후의 개폐시간, 개폐속도, 동작코일전류크기, 등과 같은 특성을 측정하고 이들의 변화정도를 평가하여 시험결과를 판단한다. 그러나 시험 중에는 이러한 동작특성들을 측정하지 않기 때문에, 시험 중에 실패하는 경우, 원인 규명에 많은 어려움이 따른다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, LS산전 PT&T(Power Testing & Technology Institutes)는 시험전후뿐만 아니라 전체시험횟수 동안 동작특성을 측정하고, 이들의 변화추이를 분석할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하고, 관련 소프트웨어를 개발하였다. 본 논문에서는 개발 내용과 결과를 소개하고자 한다.

Re-ignition System using Vacuum Triggered Gap-switch for Synthetic Breaking Test

  • The synthetic breaking test method was developed to evaluate the breaking performance of ultra high-voltage circuit breaker and made up of two independent circuits; current source circuit and voltage source circuit. In application of this test method, it is necessary to extend the arc of the test breaker. So, the new re-ignition system using VTGS (Vacuum Triggered Gap-Switch) was constructed to improve the efficiency and reliability of this test. In this re-ignition system, VTGS operates in high vacuum state of $5{\time}10^{17}$torr and control system consists of the triggering device and the air M-G (Motor-Generator). This re-ignition system showed the operating characteristics, such as delay time ($t_d$) and jitter time ($t_j$ not exceeding 5us and 1us respectively, and had the operating voltage of $25\~150kVdc$ at the gap distance of 24mm.

  • Higher current-rating and improved thermal performance are being sought for existing medium-voltage vacuum circuit breakers(VCB) in order to meet market needs which require to be compact and downsized. In this paper, thermal performance of medium voltage vacuum circuit breaker was investigated through experiments and numerical analysis. We changed several major parameters of current-rating and heat sink affecting on thermal behaviors in the breaker and observed the results. To predict the temperature distribution in complex three-dimensional (3-D) VCB components and gas, the commercial package was used to simulate conjugate heat transfer. Although some assumptions and simplifications were introduced to simulate the model, results from the computational model were in good agreement with actual temperature rise measurements obtained from experiments.

  • The VCB(Vacuum Circuit Breaker), which has been used in power distribution system, have prevented the performance of the phase modifying equipment (Condenser Bank and Shunt Reactor) and the important parts in the electric power system because of the transient voltage in opening and closing circuit. So, we developed the 25.8kV $SF_6$ gas GCB(GAS Circuit Breaker), which had the few occurance of the surge in opening & closing circuit and had the high reliability, based in our own technology.

  • 진공회로차단기의 성능이 스프링조작기에 많이 좌우되기 때문에, 스프링조작기의 해석이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 스프링의 특성시험을 먼저 수행한 후, 시험결과를 RecurDyn 프로그램을 이용한 컴퓨터시뮬레이션 스프링모델링에 이용하였다. 개발된 진공회로차단기의 다물체동역학 모델을 이용하여 차단기의 스템변위와 샤프트 회전각에 대한 시뮬레이션 하였으며, 시뮬레이션 결과를 시험과 비교 검증하였다. 검증된 다물체동역학 모델을 사용하여 차단속도를 증가시키기 위한 캠의 최적윤곽을 얻었다.

  • This is a research thesis on the development of a monitoring and diagnosis device that prevents the risk of an accident through monitoring and diagnosis of a modular Main Circuit Breaker (MCB) using Vacuum Interrupter (VI) for Korean high-speed rolling stock. In this paper, a comprehensive MCB monitoring and diagnosis was performed by converging vacuum level diagnosis of interrupter, operating coil monitoring of MCB and environmental temperature/humidity monitoring of modular box. In addition, to develop an algorithm that is expected to have a similar data processing before the actual field test of the MCB monitoring and diagnosis device in 2023, the cluster analysis and factor analysis were performed using the WEKA data mining technique on the big data of Korean railroad transformer, which was previously researched by Tae Hee Evolution with KORAIL.

  • The post-arc current in VCB(Vacuum Circuit Breaker) was calculated from the transient recovery voltage. A differential equation for the post-arc current was derived from the equivalent circuit of the test circuit. And it's results were showed.
