Study on Real-time Gesture Recognition based on Convolutional Neural Network for Game Applications (게임 어플리케이션을 위한 컨볼루션 신경망 기반의 실시간 제스처 인식 연구)

  • Humans have often been used gesture to communicate with each other. The communication between computer and person was also not different. To interact with a computer, we command with gesture, keyboard, mouse and extra devices. Especially, the gesture is very useful in many environments such as gaming and VR(Virtual Reality), which requires high specification and rendering time. In this paper, we propose a gesture recognition method based on CNN model to apply to gaming and real-time applications. Deep learning for gesture recognition is processed in a separated server and the preprocessing for data acquisition is done a client PC. The experimental results show that the proposed method is in accuracy higher than the conventional method in game environment.

  • As the number of SSM(Super Supermarket) has been growing, the conflict between large companies and small-to-medium retailers is being deeper in which large-sized market has been growing rapidly and small to medium retailers has been depressed. To solve the conflict, the government enacted the system of business limiting of large enterprises by SMEs. It brought growth of sales of small-to-medium retailers. However, unintended effects were caused by the system. This research aims to analyze underlying structure beyond conflicts between SSM and small to medium retailers using system thinking and draw relationships between key factors. Thus we can provide political alternatives through simulation model which is developed based on the factors.

  • In this paper, the goal is to investigate how manipulating the camera can minimize motion sickness and maximize immersion when a user moves in a virtual environment that requires vertical movement. In general, since a user uses virtual reality in a flat space, the actual movement of the user and the virtual movement are different, resulting in sensory conflict, which has the possibility of causing virtual reality motion sickness. Therefore, we propose three powerful camera manipulation techniques, implement them, and then propose which model is most appropriate through user experiments.

Understanding factors influencing usage intention of virtual fitting services - An application of the UTAUT2 model - (가상 피팅 서비스 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 - UTAUT2를 중심으로 -)

  • This study utilized the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2 (UTAUT2) to examine usage intentions associated with virtual fitting services. Six independent variables were examined: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, and habit. The study collected responses from 445 participants who had utilized virtual fitting services. Regarding factors related to usage intentions associated with these services, performance expectancy and social influence were found to significantly influence the usage intentions associated with photo-based virtual fitting services. Furthermore, performance expectancy, social influence, and habit significantly influenced the usage intention of avatar-based virtual fitting services. This suggests that higher levels of performance expectancy and social influence positively impact the usage intentions associated with both types of virtual fitting services, while habit influences only avatar-based virtual fitting services. Moreover, the findings confirm that effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, and hedonic motivation from UTAUT2 do not significantly influence usage intentions associated with virtual fitting services. By analyzing factors influencing potential customers' virtual fitting service usage intentions, this study can suggest effective strategies to increase usage intentions for companies providing virtual fitting services. Additionally, these findings can be utilized in the formulation of virtual fitting service marketing strategies.

  • According to a survey published in an authoritative journal in January 2020, the globalincidence rate of mental illness is 8.3% for men and 10.6% for women, which indicates thatmental illness has become a globally recognized obstacle. Therefore, specific psychotherapy including mental illness will become an important research topic. It is very effective forpatients with special mental diseases, such as mental illness, to reduce their mental reaction byexposure therapy; the system uses the virtual reality system of medical images processed by learningalgorithm to reproduce the effect of virtual reality exposure method of the high scene of transparent ladder. Compared with the old invasive exposure scene, the results show that theimprovement of both conditions has obvious effect, and the effect of human treatment underthe two conditions is not good. There are obvious differences, which show that virtual reality model will gradually replace the on-the-spot feeling. Finally, with more and more researchers have put forward a variety of other virtual reality image processing models, the research of image processing has gradually become more and more interested.

  • Recently, realistic contents using virtual reality and augmented reality are attracting attention as learning aids. 3D-based contents have the advantage of being able to observe and experience objects from various angles than 2D-based contents shown on a flat surface. In this paper, we propose a content design based on 3D model for Arduino learning in a virtual environment. The Arduino board and sensor were implemented using Blender, and a 3D-based simulator environment was constructed using the Unity engine. The proposed content uses the Arduino board and sensor implemented in 3D so that learners can easily experience the working principle of Arduino and the coding process.

  • With the advancement of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), the metaverse has emerged as a transformative model across various sectors, offering a three-dimensional virtual world where activities mirroring the real world occur. This study delves into the significant factors influencing fashion brand companies' investments in the metaverse, an evolved concept from Virtual Reality (VR) that extends beyond gaming to include real-life activities through avatars. This study highlights the surge in virtual fashion engagements, as evidenced by increased avatar updates and purchases of digital fashion items on platforms like Roblox. Luxury brands are steadily entering the metaverse indicating a new revenue stream within the fashion industry. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating text mining and interviews to identify key factors for fashion companies considering metaverse investments. By proposing strategies based on these findings, this study not only enriches academic discourse in fashion, e-commerce, and information systems but also serves as a guideline for fashion companies aiming to navigate the burgeoning digital market, contributing to the generation of new revenue streams in the fashion sector.

User-centric Context Model for Context-aware Application (맥락 인식 애플리케이션을 위한 사용자 중심의 맥락 모델)

  • 본 논문에서는 맥락 인식 (context-aware) 애플리케이션 개발에 있어서 사용자의 맥락 정보를 보다 효과적으로 처리할 수 있는 사용자 중심의 맥락 모델을 제안한다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 개념의 확산과 함께 맥락 인식 애플리케이션들에 관한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 하지만, 맥락에 대한 정의는 여전히 모호하며, 애플리케이션들 마다 서로 다른 형태의 맥락을 활용하고 있기 때문에, 맥락에 대한 보다 구체적인 정의와 다양한 애플리케이션에 활용 가능한 형태의 맥락 모델이 필요하다. 제안된 사용자 중심의 맥락 모델에서는 사용자가 애플리케이션과 상호작용할 때 사용자의 직접적인 명령을 제외한 사용자와 관련된 정보를 맥락으로 정의한다. 또한, 제안된 사용자 중심의 맥락은 5W1H 형태로 구조화한 맥락요소 (ContextElement), 맥락 요소들을 편리하게 처리할 수 있는 연산자들을 포함하는 맥락 (Context), 그리고 단편적인 맥락 정보뿐만 아니라 기존의 맥락 정보까지도 활용할 수 있는 맥락메모리 (ContextMemory)로 구성된다. 특히, 다양한 센서들로부터 획득된 정보를 맥락 모델의 인터페이스를 통해서 맥락 인식 애플리케이션에서 활용할 수 있기 때문에, 서로 다른 맥락 인식 애플리케이션들을 개발함에 있어서도 동일한 맥락 모델을 사용할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 제안된 맥락 모델의 유용함을 보이기 위해서, 센서로부터 획득된 맥락 정보를 처리하는데 소요되는 시간을 측정하는 실험을 하였다. 따라서 제안된 사용자 중심의 맥락 모델은 사용자와 맥락 인식 애플리케이션간 자연스러운 상호작용을 지원할 것으로 기대된다.) kcal/mol의 생성활성화 에너지 감을 나타내었고, TGA로부터의 분해활성화 에너지는 각각 31.94, 30.84, 24.16 kcal/mol의 값을 나타내었다.로 감소되었다(35.2% vs. 77.4%; p<0.01). 실험 2에서 다양한 정자 농도에 의한 정자 침투율과 정상 수정률을 바탕으로 판단했을 때 $4.6{\times}10^6/ml$의 정자 농도가 다른 정자 농도에 비해 난구 세포부착 난자의 체외 수정에 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 체외 수정과정에서 난구 세포 부착된 상태로 수정된 난자는 나화 난자에 비해 유의적으로(p<0.05) 높은 분할률(48.8% vs. 58.9%), 배반포 형성률(11.0% vs. 22.8%)과 배반포 세포수$(22{\pm}2\;vs.\;29{\pm}2)$를 나타내었다. 본 연구의 결과로부터 돼지의 체외 수정과정에서 난구 세포의 존재는 정자 침투를 저해하지만 분할률, 배반포 형성률 및 배반포의 세포수를 증가시키는 것으로 사료된다.수의 유출입 지점에 온도센서를 부착하여 냉각수의 온도를 측정하고 냉각수의 공급량과 대기의 온도 등을 측정하여 대사열의 발생을 추정할 수 있었다. 동시에 이를 이용하여 유가배양시 기질을 공급하는 공정변수로 사용하였다 [8]. 생물학적인 폐수처리장치인 활성 슬러지법에서 미생물의 활성을 측정하는 방법은 아직 그다지 개발되어있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 슬러지의 주 구성원이 미생물인 점에 착안하여 침전시 슬러지층과 상등액의 온도차를 측정하여 대사열량의 발생량을 측정하고 슬러지의 활성을 측정할 수 있는 방법을 개발하였다.enin과

  • This paper discusses 5G IOT, Augmented Reality, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Future Autonomous Driving Vehicle technology, and presents 5G utilization of Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games and Jeju Smart City model. The reason is that 5G is the main artery of the 4th industry.5G is the fourth industrial aorta because 5G is the core infrastructure of the fourth industrial revolution. In order for the AI, autonomous vehicle, VR / AR, and Internet (IoT) era to take off, data must be transmitted several times faster and more securely than before. For example, if you send a stop signal to LTE, which is a communication technology, to a remote autonomous vehicle, it takes a hundredth of a second. It seems to be fairly fast, but if you run at 100km / h, you can not guarantee safety because the car moves 30cm until it stops. 5G is more than 20 gigabits per second (Gbps), about 40 times faster than current LTE.   • The 4th industrial revolution refers to the next-generation industrial revolution led by information and communication technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), robot technology, drones, autonomous driving and virtual reality (VR) and it also has made a significant impact on the development of the advertising industry. However, the world is rapidly changing to a non-contact, non-face-to-face living environment to prevent the spread of COVID 19. Accordingly, the role of the 4th industrial revolution and advertising is changing. Therefore, in this study, text analysis was performed using Big Kinds to examine the 4th industrial revolution and changes in advertising before and after COVID 19. Comparisons were made between 2019 before COVID 19 and 2020 after COVID 19. Main topics and documents were classified through LDA topic model analysis and Word2vec, a deep learning technique. As the result of the study showed that before COVID 19, policies, contents, AI, etc. appeared, but after COVID 19, the field gradually expanded to finance, advertising, and delivery services utilizing data. Further, education appeared as an important issue. In addition, if the use of advertising related to the 4th industrial revolution technology was mainstream before COVID 19, keywords such as participation, cooperation, and daily necessities, were more actively used for education on advanced technology, while talent cultivation appeared prominently. Thus, these research results are meaningful in suggesting a multifaceted strategy that can be applied theoretically and practically, while suggesting the future direction of advertising in the 4th industrial revolution after COVID 19.
