In the present study, the following factors are analyzed systematically using the theoretical and experimental methods, which have the significant influence on the quality of VTR tape path system in order to develope the high performance and quality in VTR mechanism: 1) Vibration characteristics of the deck including the tape path sytem, 2) Modeling the global tape path, 3) Torsional vibration of the VTR drum. 4) Capstan system, 5) Tension bar, 6) Stick-slip phenomenon of the running tape.

정보를 자기적으로 기록하는 장치는 전원이 제거되어도 정보를 잃지 않으며, 기록과 재생이 모두 가능하고, 상대적으로 저렴한 가격 때문에 현재 광범위하게 이용되고 있다. 컴퓨터 보조 기억 장치로 사용되는 하드디스크, 프라피 디스크, 테잎 드라이버(driver)로 부터 음성 및 화상 기록 장치로 사용되는 녹음기 및 VCR 과 컴퓨터, 음성, 화상 이외의 정보 (Surveillance, Telemetry, Flight information, Sa- tellite linkage 등)를 기록하는 instrumentation recorder 등이 대표적인 자기 기록 장치이다. 이러한 자 기 기록 장치는 원하는 전기적인 정보를 자기적인 정보로 바꾸어 기록하며, 기록된 정보를 필요에 따라 전 기적인 정보를 바꾸어 사용하게 된다.

가정 내의 많은 정보 및 가전 기기들이 최근 급격히 디지털화가 진행됨에 따라서 가정내의 홈네트워크 구현에 대한 활발한 연구와 관련 업계들의 협력이 진행되고 있다. 디지털 TV를 필두로한 DVD 플레이어, 디지털 VCR,디지털 비디오 캠코더 둥 다양한 디지털 가전 기기들이 속속 선보이며 이들 간의 디지털 정보를 전송할 전송 채널로 IEEE 1394등이 많이 연구되고 있다. 또한 가정까지의 정보 전송을 위한 전화 업계와 케이블 업계의 경쟁이 치열해 지면서 정보를 가정까지 전달하기 위한 ADSL 및 케이블 모뎀등이 곧 보급될 전망이다. 홈네트워크 내의 다양한 기기들을 사용자가 편리하게 제어하기 위한 네트워크 구현을 위하여 HWW, HAVi UPnP, Jini 등 다양한 기법들이 선보이고 있다.

본 논문에서는 MPEG-2 비트스트림의 ATM 전송을 위한 DSM-CC U-U 인터페이스 구현에 대해 기술하였다. DSM-CC에서 정의한 주된 기능은 MPEG-2 비트스트림의 VCR과 같은 제어기능과 서비스 도메인을 열람할 수 있는 브라우저 기능이다. 구현된 DSM-CC를 시험하기 위하여 ATM전송을 사용한 VoD 시스템을 구성하였다. 이러한 통합 시스템 구현을 위해 DAVIC에서 정의된 시스템 모델을 사용하여 기본적인 구조를 설계하였고, ATM Forum에서 정의된 표준을 기본으로 ATM 비트스트림 전송 시스템을 구현하였다.

The quasi-static and dynamic responses of a linear viscoelastic circular beam on Winkler foundation are studied numerically by using the mixed finite element method in transformed Laplace-Carson space. This element VCR12 has 12 independent variables. The solution is obtained in transformed space and Schapery, Dubner, Durbin and Maximum Degree of Precision (MDOP) transform techniques are employed for numerical inversion. The performance of the method is presented by several quasi-static and dynamic example problems.

To separate and concentrate functional components contained in soybean curd whey, ultrafiltration was performed using regenerated cellulose or polysulphone membrane of spiral-wound type with MWCO 10,000, and the permeate and retentate solutions were analyzed. As the pH of soybean curd whey increased, the permeate flux decreased in both membranes. Treatment of 0.01 M EDTA rather decreased the permeate flux compared with control. The concentration of ionic calcium, which decreased with the pH increase, was thought to affect the permeate flux also. In case of polysulphone membrane, the permeate was efficiently purified and the retentate protein was concentrated significantly in which the membrane rejection value (MRV) for chemical oxygen demand (COD) was 79.25% and that of protein was 98.42% at the volume concentration ratio (VCR) of 10. MRV of the protein of regenerated cellulose membrane was lower than that of polysulphone membrane. To recover oligosaccharides to the permeate solution and increase the content of raffinose and stachyose, regenerated cellulose membrane was more suitable than polysulphone membrane and the optimum VCR was 4.

Video on Demand (VOD) system is definitely one of main applications in upcoming multimedia era. In this research, we have designed and implemented a host-based scalable VOD system (SVOD) which is composed of low cost PC servers and runs on Linux kernel that is currently spotlighted in enterprise and research domains. Our contribution is as follows: first, the previous Ext2 file system was modified to efficiently support continuous media like MPEG stream. Second, the storage server features a host-based scalable architecture. Third, a software MPEG decoder was implemented using Microsoft's DirectShow$\circledR$COM. Finally, flow control between client and server is provided to suppress overflow and underflow of client circular buffer and supports FF VCR operation. We have known that it is possible to develop a thread-based and scalable VOD system on low cost PC servers and free Linux kernel.

In this paper, a gain-boosting charge pump(CP) and a latch type voltage controlled oscillato.(VCO) with voltage controlled resistor(VCR) were proposed. The gain-boosting CP achieves good .current matching of less than 11$mu$V voltage difference between 43$mu$V and 32$mu$V in its output range from 0.8V to 2.3V. The VCO with VCR shows good linear characteristics over the range from 1V to 3V. The fabricated VCO exhibits -108dBc/Hz phase noise at a 100kHz and is comparable to that of the integrated LC-tank oscillator. The phase locked loop(PLL) with new circuits was simulated in a 0.35$mu$m CMOS process and showed 150$mu$s locking time.
