A Study on Counter Design using Sequential Systems based on Synchronous Techniques

  • This paper presents a method of design the counter using sequential system based on synchronous techniques. For the design the counter, first of all, we derive switching algebras and their operations. Also, we obtain the next-state functions, flip-flop excitations and their input functions from the flip-flop. Then, we propose the algorithm which is a method of implementation of the synchronous sequential digital logic circuits. Finally, we apply proposed the sequential logic based on synchronous techniques to counter.

  • Purpose: Medical records classification using vectorization techniques plays an important role in natural language processing. The purpose of this study was to investigate proper vectorization techniques for electronic medical records classification. Material and methods: 403 electronic medical documents were extracted retrospectively and classified using the cosine similarity calculated by Scikit-learn (Python module for machine learning) in Jupyter Notebook. Vectors for medical documents were produced by three different vectorization techniques (TF-IDF, latent sematic analysis and Word2Vec) and the classification precisions for three vectorization techniques were evaluated. The Kruskal-Wallis test was used to determine if there was a significant difference among three vectorization techniques. Results: 403 medical documents were relevant to 41 different diseases and the average number of documents per diagnosis was 9.83 (standard deviation=3.46). The classification precisions for three vectorization techniques were 0.78 (TF-IDF), 0.87 (LSA) and 0.79 (Word2Vec). There was a statistically significant difference among three vectorization techniques. Conclusions: The results suggest that removing irrelevant information (LSA) is more efficient vectorization technique than modifying weights of vectorization models (TF-IDF, Word2Vec) for medical documents classification.

  • In this paper, we present early processing techniques for visual inspection of metallic parts. Since metallic surfaces give rise to specular reflections, it is difficult to extract object boundaries using elementary segmentation techniques such as edge detection or binary thresholding. In this paper, we present two techniques for finding object boundaries on micro bit images. First, we explain a technique for detecting blade boundaries using a directional correlation mask. Second, a line and angle extraction technique based on Harris corner detector and Hough transform is described. These techniques have been effective for detecting blade boundaries, and a number of experimental results are presented using real images.

  • There is great difficulty in machine below 10 micrometers by conventional machining methods, such as micro-EDM. However, ultra micro machining using focused ion beam(FIB) is able to machine to 50 nanometers. Bie & moulds techniques are better than one-to-one machining techniques in regards to production costs in the mass production of ultra size structures. Also, it is advantageous to machine die & moulds to the 10 micrometers level by FIB technique rather than other techniques. It is difficult to machine the three dimensional machining, such as micro lens, using FIB system because of their machining characteristics. In this paper, three dimensional machining techniques were properly introduced, and also experiments showed effectiveness of their techniques.

섀도잉(shadowing)기법을 활용한 한국어 수업 방안 (Measures on Improving Korean Language Skills by Using Shadowing Techniques)

  • The purpose of this study is to introduce an efficient measure in Korean language education for learners of Korean by applying shadowing techniques which focus on improving not only listening and speaking skills but also reading and writing skills. First of all, the study discusses about the definition of shadowing along with the effect of shadowing. The second part will be about examining the proposed method related to shadowing technique which is comprised of original shadowing techniques and other techniques transformed from the original. Thirdly, the paper will be discussing background information of the shadowing technique in previous researches and experiments using shadowing techniques in Korean language education. Finally, there will be an introduction of learning measures that apply to skill unification. Most of the previous researches of the shadowing technique were limited to a few students with only mid-to-high level learners while this method could cover up to a wide range of learners. The most effective way of learning a foreign language would firstly be the suggested method and the focus should be on repetition and practice of the learners.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop planning technique for low carbon rural village planning. planning techniques (169 cases : waterside Technique 87, inland Technique 82) were extracted through a various previous studies and literature. planning techniques of 43 cases for low carbon rural village have been developed by the importance validity evaluation for planning techniques using the Delphi Method. Developed techniques can be utilized to plan low carbon rural village for Sustainable Rural Development. In addition, these techniques will be able to contribute to recognition of the need about low carbon rural village and the development of national green strategy.

Ultra-accurate techniques such as using tripods are not discussed here, as their application is limited to a small minority of caves.   • Ventilation rates can be measured directly by a tracer decay method, although little is known of the effects of different sampling intervals on decay rte calculations. This study determined variations in decay rates calculated by three techniques using residential ozone decay data. The calculation techniques were a regression technique, decay techniques using half-life and average-life, and finite difference techniques using two different time intervals. Variation associated with regression technique calculations for residential ozone decay rates based on data from both sample intervals were within 10% (2.81$\pm$1.88 hr-1). However, both half-life and finite difference technique calculations using a shorter-time interval were significantly different from those obtained with the regression technique(p<0.05). Therefore, the use of short sampling intervals in tracer decay may cause significant error in decay rate calculations.

  • Recently, thanks to advanced computational power and numerical techniques, it is made possible to analyze the flow around moving bodies using computational fluid dynamics techniques. In those simulations, moving mesh techniques should be able to represent both the body motion and boundary deformation which are frequently encounterd in fluid-structure interaction and/of six degree-of-freedom problems. There are several moving mesh techniques such as the Laplacian operator based, tension spring based and elastic deformation based methods. In the present study, the Laplacian operator based method was utilized and the results were validated. For the validation, the flow around an oscillating two-dimensional cylinder was simulated and analyzed.

And Fashion items that have been produced in this study is a total 10 kinds that was composed of Vest 4ea, Pendant & Brooch 6ea. Colored thread quilting is a unique technique of thread quilting that combines powerful practicality with decorativeness only in korea. These technique hope that it can developed more variety of items in modern life.
