  • This study explored the factors affecting the acceptance of public recording in SNS post. Using SPSS 21.0 program and AMOS 21.0 program, major results were derived through exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and path analysis. The results are as follows: First, the risk of personal information leakage on SNS posting has a significant negative impact on the attitude toward SNS posting. Second, the security of the SNS posting has a significant effect on the attitude toward the SNS posting. Third, the concern about privacy of SNS posting has a significant negative impact on the attitude toward SNS posting. Fourth, the attitude toward SNS posting has a significant effect on the intention to accept the SNS posting. The above results suggest that the SNS post recording should be able to collect opinions of SNS users from a long-term viewpoint.

  • Purpose: Social Network Sites(SNS) have been grown up as a public communication channel consumer frequently participate in. Most of food service brands are utilizing social media for advertising recently. As a result of SNS marketing, food service brands anticipate positive outputs from SNS engagement and consumer brand engagement so that we need to verify structural relationship among SNS characteristics, SNS engagement and consumer brand engagement. Research design, data, and methodology: This study identifies that SNS characteristics have effects on SNS engagement and examines relationship between SNS engagement and behavioral engagement. We conceptualize SNS characteristics as information quality, hedonic level and interaction. Furthermore, SNS engagement is composed of SNS participation, positive word of mouth(WOM). In order to verify the purposes of this research, research model and hypotheses were developed. All constructs were measured with multiple items developed and tested in the previous studies. Sample data were collected from 433 online survey panels and analyzed by using SmartPLS 3.2.9. Result: The findings of this research are as follows. First, information quality is positively related with SNS participation. Hedonic level and interaction have impacts on SNS participation and positive WOM respectively. Second, SNS participation has positive effects on positive WOM. Third, both SNS participation and WOM influence behavioral engagement respectively. Conclusions: The implications demonstrate that SNS characteristics such as information quality and hedonic level and interaction exert effects for consumer to participate in SNS brand page. Meanwhile, hedonic level and interaction influence on positive WOM but information quality doesn't. SNS participation and positive WOM affect consumer to engage in specific brand behaviorally as well. Therefore, food service brand marketer is required to manage SNS information quality and hedonic level and interaction among members to encourage SNS participation and positive WOM. As SNS participation and positive WOM increases behavioral engagement of consumer, marketer needs to incentivize SNS participation and look after situation of positive WOM and respond swiftly.

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically address the influences of motives for using SNS on relational bridging and relational bonding in SNS and motives for continuous use SNS by applying the concepts of bonding and bridging, defined in the social capital theory, and major motives for using SNS are classified into three categories-social, information, and recreation categories - based on the previous studies and the usage and gratification theories. Through this study, it was revealed that motives of all these three categories-social, information, and recreation categories-have significant influences over relational bridging and relational bonding in SNS while relational bridging and relational bonding in SNS have significant influences over consistent motives for using SNS so the hypothesis of this study is accepted. It was also proven that motives of all these three categories - social, information, and recreation categories-for using SNS are important factors for creating new communities or expand relationships with other SNS users sharing similar interests. In addition, it was found that SNS users constantly use SNS to build relationships that could create a strong bond between individuals and receive emotional supports when necessary and to expand its own network by creating new relationships with other SNS users.

  • Supporting communications among users, Social Network has encouraged various information flows through relationships among them. This paper studies on mentality or attitude of Social Network Services (SNS for short) users, on the basis of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM for short) and then proposes so-called TAMS, Technology Acceptance Model for Social Network Services. SNS users make full use of SNS as channels in order to create, expand, and obtain some information related to personal concerns. We will research on how the benefits that users get by using SNS exert influence on user-perceived usability. The SNS-using benefits focus on relationship benefits that are formed by interactions among users. Provided that perceived usability affects mental or informational benefits according to involvement of SNS users, we will check how perceived usability or ease of use is connected to brand attitude.

  • This study was conducted to examine SNS addiction proneness and interpersonal satisfaction among undergraduate students and the relationships between these two variables, as well as to establish baseline data for appropriate intervention of SNS addiction prevention. The participants of this study were 316 undergraduate students in D and K city, and data were collected between June 30 and July 30, 2017. Data were collected by a self-administered online survey and analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-tests, and Pearson's correlation coefficients using SPSS. The results showed that SNS addiction proneness and interpersonal satisfaction were negatively correlated (r=-0.57, p<0.01), indicating students with higher SNS addiction had lower interpersonal satisfaction. There were no significant differences in SNS addiction proneness and interpersonal satisfaction by gender (t=0.05, p=0.963), number of SNS networks (t=0.66, p=0.513), or number of SNS-only networks (t=-1.24, p=0.216). Students who used SNS for data collection showed significantly higher interpersonal satisfaction (t=3.02, p=0.030); however, there was no significant differences in SNS addiction proneness among purposes for using SNS (t=0.39, p=.759). The results of this study will be useful baseline data for developing an intervention to improve interpersonal satisfaction and prevent SNS addiction among undergraduate students.
