스트레치 센서를 이용한 말더듬 치료 훈련기의 개발 (Development of stuttering treatment practice device using stretch sensors)

  • Using stretch sensors, a stuttering treatment training device that improve the abnormal breathing of stutterer was designed and developed. To improve stutterer's inadequate breathing method that is one of principal reason of stammering, the device estimates breathing method by checking the changes of the stretch sensor's resistances those are put on the chest and abdomen of user. And a vocal exercise program that carry out exercises only when the user maintains the abdominal breathing was designed. Using a PIC16C711 device that includes an A/D convertor, a main controller was designed and the vocal exercises software was developed using Director and C program with graphic user interface for user convenience. The controller sends the resistance data of sensors to PC through the serial port and the software verifies the breathing method. And the device was designed that the RTS (request to send) pin of serial port in PC is used as a power source so that it can work without any battery or other power source. Three stutterers have carried out the clinical experiments using the implemented device for two months and the results showed it was excellent to alleviate the stuttering.

  • Home appliance manufacturers have recently been trying to provide smart products capable of various Internet services. For example, one health care manufacturer provides a Wi-Fi-capable scale. Once users register their information with the manufacturer's server, their weight and body fat records are automatically uploaded to the server whenever they measure their weight. The users can then watch and check their weight log easily using a smart device, such as a smartphone or tablet. One of the biggest problems, however, is that the initial configuration of the appliances and the user registration process may be quite complicated to typical users who are unfamiliar with such IT devices. This paper proposes an autoconfiguration system structure and protocol for Internet-capable home appliances, which supports the initial configuration and remote maintenance service of the device with only little user effort. Manufacturers can develop their own information appliances and provide differentiated services using the proposed system and protocol.

  • As time goes by, ultrasonic wave is getting important and new technology, which is adapted to ultrasonic wave is used to industry such as home appliance, automobile, and high-tech industry. Especially, ultrasonic wave is used an alarm device whether there are things at the rear of I. It's do important device in automobile system because it can prevent car-accident from inattention of the driver. Actually, there has already been lots of the alarm device. But it's expensive and so difficult to set the device. So almost driver don't set device at their automobile. We focus on these problems. We want to make cheap md easy setting device. Ultrasonic wave sensor emits Ultrasonic-signal at outgoing part and receive part accept the signal. Sensor analyzes the signal and Distance is displayed on LCD of device. The device makes alarm if distance is near from something of rear. The device makes break-system operate to prevent drivers from crashing if distance is so near. This device is portable. So normal deriver can set it easily.

  • 무선 인터넷과 모바일 단말 제조기술의 발달로 다양한 콘텐츠를 모바일 단말에서 사용할 수 있게 되었다. 각 단말들은 단말에 맞는 콘텐츠를 제공 받기위해 콘텐츠 제공자에게 HTTP 헤더를 이용하여 단말 정보를 제공한다. 그러나 단말 정보 제공을 위한 표준이 없어 서비스망 외부의 콘텐츠를 사용할 때 이동통신사마다 다른 방식으로 단말 정보를 제공한다는 상호운용성의 문제가 있다. 국외에서는 OMA(Open Mobile Alliance)의 UAProf(User Agent Profile)을 사용하여 상호운용성의 문제를 해결하였다. 그러나 국내에서 UAProf을 사용하여 단말 정보를 제공하기에는 MMS(Multimedia Messaging Service)지원 정보, 스마트카드 지원 정보, 외부 저장소 지원 정보 등에 대해 명시되어 있지 않아 완전한 단말정보를 제공할 수 없다. 이에 본 논문에서는 국내 환경의 모바일 단말에 최적화된 콘텐츠를 제공하기 위해 필요한 단말 정보를 표현하는 모바일 단말 정보 표현 언어에 대해 UAProf을 기반으로 확장 설계하였으며, 이에 기반한 콘텐츠 Adaptation 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • The suspension is a structure that supports reading, writing head in information storage device. In order to develop the information storage device of high track density, it is necessary to study about the suspension. To satisfy operation condition of information storage device, the suspension shape is very important since it correlates to dynamic characteristics. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the dynamic characteristics by using finite element analysis and to optimize the suspension of information storage device using size optimization and topology optimization. The suspension has various modes according to different kinds of frequency bandwidth. Sway mode and second torsion mode are especially critical among them. In this paper, we investigated method to improve bandwidth of sway and second torsion mode of HDD and ODD suspension by using size optimization and topology optimization.

  • In this paper, we propose the battery charging device for electric bicycle using photovoltaic power. DC voltage from the solar cells is low, it needs to be step-up by the power conversion device. The power conversion device applied to this paper is phase-shift full-bridge converter. This converter steps-up from 12${\sim}$22[Vdc] to 36[Vdc] for charging the battery of electric bicycle. Phase-shift full-bridge converter(PSFB) can obtain twice as much DC voltage compared with half-bridge converter, thus it has lower current stress less than half-bridge converter. It is simulated and tested the battery charging device using photovoltaic power.

  • Recently, manufacturing work has been transformed to advanced technology intensive form from mass production with a little items required in the past. It was demanded that superior workpiece surface integrity. However, the study of ductile mode machining was proceeded actively.In this paper, it is developed Ultra-Micro Indentation Device using the PZT actuator. Experimentally, by using theUltra-Micro Indentation device, the micro fracture behavior of the silicon wafer was invesgated. It was possible that ductile-brittle transition point in ultimate surface of brittle material can be detected by adding an acoustic emission sensor system to the Ultra-Micro Indentation apparatus.

측면 에어 가이드 트랙을 이용한 새로운 운동마찰계수 측정 장치의 개발 (Development of New Measurement Device for the Coefficient of Kinetic Friction by Using Side Air-Guide Track)

  • In this study, a new experimental device was developed for measurement of the coefficient of kinetic friction using a photo gate timer system which have advantages of easy and accurate detection of motion. This device, consisting of a side air-guide track and a side friction-free glider, forces a friction sample to move in a straight line without producing unnecessary friction. The new device is compared to two conventional measuring methods of friction for four different friction samples: one is using a camera system and the other is using a force sensor. It is demonstrated that the developed friction device in this study is easier to operate and produces the most accurate and the least deviating results among them. On the basis of these results, we propose that friction experiment using the new friction device is included in general physics experiment, so that engineering students should have a chance to get correct understanding of classical mechanics including friction phenomenon.

  • Personalized recommendation technology is one of the most important technologies in electronic commerce environment. It helps users overcome information overload by suggesting information that match user's interests. In e-commerce environment, both mobile device users and smart device users have risen dramatically. It creates new challenges. Our method suggests product information that match user's device interests beyond only user's interests. We propose a device-centered personalized recommendation method. Our method uses both purchase and share behavior for user's devices interests. Moreover, it considers data type preference for each device. This paper presents a new recommendation method and algorithm. Then, an e-commerce scenario with a computer, a smartphone and an AI-speaker are described. The scenario shows our work is better than previous researches.

공압 실린더 및 단순 링크기구를 이용한 충돌 보행자 보호 장치에 관한 연구 (Study on Pedestrian Protection device in collision using Pneumatic cylinder and simple link mechanism)

  • This study is on pedestrian protection device using pneumatic cylinder and simple link mechanism when vehicle collide with pedestrian. This study ensured the safety space between engine and hood after it applies to simple link mechanism and pneumatic cylinder. It can absorb the damage which measure the specific device if vehicle collide with pedestrian. Combination of simple link mechanism and pneumatic cylinder was more superior than the present pedestrian protection device. Simple link mechanism could confirm superior height and survival probability than when only cylinder operated. It also ensured enough space between engine and hood. And if a cylinder is not working because of old cylinder, poor repair or damage of accident vertical cylinder would be difficult to execute because there exists the irregular space between engine and hood. If simple link mechanism operates with only one cylinder it could ensure the regular space because simple link mechanism set up at the middle of hood. So this device could confirm high safety for pedestrian.
