The purpose of this study is to provide information necessary for establishing a new strategy for customer service improvement by deriving factors affecting user satisfaction and continuous use intention of mobile app service user characteristics, system characteristics, and social characteristics. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, reliability, innovation, familiarity, convenience, and self-efficacy among the characteristics of mobile app are analyzed as factors that have the greatest influence on user's perceived usefulness. Second, convenience, mobility, and visibility are some of the characteristics of mobile app service. Third, identity, security, and expectation agreement among mobile app service characteristics are analyzed as negative factors that do not affect users' perceived usefulness. Fourth, interactivity, familiarity, and self-efficacy among the characteristics of mobile app service were analyzed as positive factors that have the greatest effect on user's perceived ease of use. Fifth, reliability, mobility, visibility, and convenience among mobile app service characteristics are analyzed as factors that have some positive effects on perceived ease of use of app users. Sixth, identity, innovation, and security among the characteristics of mobile app service are negatively influenced by mobile app users' perceived ease of use. Seventh, the perceived usefulness of mobile app users is analyzed as a factor that has a very positive effect on user satisfaction. Eighth, the perceived ease of use of mobile app users is analyzed as a factor affecting perceived usefulness positively. Ninth, the perceived ease and expectation of mobile app users are positively influenced on user satisfaction. The tenth, the perceived usefulness of the mobile app users was analyzed as a factor having a very positive influence on the persistent intention to use. For the eleventh, the perceived ease of use of mobile app users was analyzed as a factor having a positive effect on the persistent intention to use. The twelfth, mobile app user satisfaction was analyzed as a factor having a very positive effect on the persistent intention to use.
In this study, an empirical research based on survey has been performed to study the influence of user expectation to user satisfaction of commercial and open source DBMSs. According to the survey results, word-of-mouth and past experiences influence significantly to user expectation, and price influences to user expectation only for commercial DBMS users. The results show that the expectancy disconfirmation influences significantly to user satisfaction. Expectation and satisfaction levels of commercial DBMS users are higher significantly than those of open source DBMS users. However, expectancy disconfirmation of open source DBMS users is higher than that of commercial DBMS users.
This study was examined the relationship between the exogenous and endogenous variables in our model to measure ERP system performance using path analysis. The exogenous variables are system quality, user participation, user training, top management support and self-efficacy, and the endogenous variables are system usage, user satisfaction, and work efficiency. The results of the study are shown as follows. First, all the exogenous variables in our model have a direct effect on user satisfaction, and system quality, training, and self-efficacy have a direct effect on system usage. Second, system usage has a direct effect on user satisfaction and user satisfaction has a direct effect on work efficiency. The findings show that the exogenous variables in the model are important to increase ERP implementation success.
The purposes of this study were 1) to analyze the effect of the ERP quality (system quality, information quality, service quality) on the performance (end user satisfaction, user's performance, system utilization) of business, 2) to conduct the causal-effect analysis between outcome variables (user's satisfaction, user's performance, system utilization) of ERP in the contract foodservice management company. The questionnaires were distributed to 260 end users (dietitians, foodservice management managers) in charge of managing the institutional foodservice such as the office (government agencies, factories), schools (universities, middle and high school) and hospitals which were managed by contract foodservice management company 'C' in Seoul and Kyunggi. The surveys were performed from July 26, 2004 to July 30. 2004. Two hundred and fifty (250) questionnaires were responded (response rate: 96.2%). The statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS Win (11.5). And the descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability test, pearson correlation, simple and multiple regression analysis were performed. The results showed that among the 3 factors (system quality, information quality, service quality), the system quality and information quality were proved to have an effect on the user's satisfaction and user's performance significantly (p < .05). The influence of ERP quality (system quality, information quality, service quality) on system utilization were testified to be statistically significant (p < .05). The user's performance were affected significantly by system utilization (p < 0.001) and end user's satisfaction (p < 0.001). As a conclusion, to improve user satisfaction, which is the ultimate performance variable of an ERP system, high quality of an ERP system is the pre-requisite. And the user satisfaction and performance of business would be higher with the better quality ERP system. When constructing ERP system for the contract foodservice management company, we should improve system utilization and user satisfaction altogether so that user's performance could be ultimately enhanced and we should make efforts to enhance the quality level of ERP. The purpose of this study is to work out strategy for utilization of Environmental Conservation Value Assessment Map (ECVAM) using the user survey. It surveyed system users of ECVAM about its recognition and satisfaction. The results of the survey, the ECVAM became more popular and were highly satisfied with updated data. Especially, the study found a relationship between the satisfaction of ECVAM and accuracy, utilization, and convenience of the system. However, the satisfaction has a difference between user groups, a government official and a agent for EIA including researchers. The satisfaction of the agent group was affected by the convenience, the accuracy, and the utilization in order. In the other hand, the satisfaction of the government official group was affected by the utilization, the convenience, the accuracy, and recognition in order. Therefore, we need to adopt different strategies for educations of ECVAM and publicity activities depending on user groups. To increase the satisfaction of ECVAM, we should research not only to attain pinpoint accuracy, but also to suggest the guideline to utilize the map for a government official.
Social Network Service (SNS) with emergence of Web 2.0 have been developed rapidly. Unlike other games, social network game is based on the relationship with smart devices and studied for user-centered behavior as a potential factor derived from the Technical Acceptance Model (TAM). This research is conducted for finding out influencing factors on continuous intention for smart device users. Therefore, the independent variables consist of subjective norm, mobility, playfulness, self-efficacy, and ease of use. The intermediate variables also compose of flow, and user satisfaction and the dependent variables as continuous intention. The result of study shows the following: First, subjective norm, playfulness, self-efficacy and ease of use except mobility have the positive effect on user flow. Second, subjective norm, mobility, playfulness and ease of use except self-efficacy have significantly the positive effect on user satisfaction. Finally, user flow has significantly the positive effect on user satisfaction and continuance intention and a factor of user satisfaction have significantly the positive effect on continuance intention.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate user satisfaction with village bathhouses, selected from a two-year pilot project of common facilities for seniors in rural areas from 2014 to 2015. A survey was conducted using a questionnaire to evaluate user satisfaction, and 96 questionnaires were collected from 10 village bathhouses. User satisfaction was evaluated in five categories with a five-point scale: location and spatial composition; emotions and intimacy; safety; hygiene and equipment; and maintenance and management. The results are as follows. First, scores on hygiene and equipment stood at four points or higher, indicating higher user satisfaction. However, scores on the other four categories were below four points. But when overall user satisfaction was evaluated on a five-point scale, the average score stood at 4.13out of five points and 89.5 out of 100 points. These findings suggest that users were generally satisfied with the bathhouses. Second, a comparison of bathing patterns from before and after bathhouse construction in villages revealed that 42.7% of residents had previously gone to neighboring villages to bathe. Local bathhouse construction led to an increase in overall bathing frequency, exerting a beneficial effect on hygiene. Third, general user satisfaction correlated more closely with items related to location and spatial composition than items of other categories, indicating that the architectural elements of the bathhouses have a major impact. Finally, access to a bathhouse at all times showed strong correlation with satisfaction levels, suggesting a need for the establishment of more bathhouses throughout rural areas.
