Recently, a number of military intranet infiltrations suspected of North Korea have been discovered. There was a problem that a vulnerability could occur due to the modification of user authentication data that can access existing military information systems. In this paper, we applied mutual verification technique and API (Application Programming Interface) forgery / forgery blocking and obfuscation to solve the authentication weakness in web browsers that comply with FIDO (Fast IDentity Online) standard. In addition, user convenience is improved by implementing No-Plugin that does not require separate program installation. Performance tests show that most browsers perform about 0.1ms based on the RSA key generation rate. In addition, it proved that it can be used for commercialization by showing performance of less than 0.1 second even in the digital signature verification speed of the server. The service is expected to be useful for improving military information system security as an alternative to browser authentication by building a web secure storage.

Recently, the importance of cultural design has been increasing due to the globalization. However the cultural design is mainly focusing on the shape or color stereotype of different cultures, ignoring another important aspects of cultural design: the way of peoples' interacting with product. The study aims to develop usability test program for cultural user-interface design that operates in the world wide web. The study begins with discussing the nature of culture through defining culture and reviewing the depth and variables of culture. Based on the findings the structure of the usability testing program on the WWW design methods is identified. The usability testing program on the WWW comprises of five different modules: module for identifying users' demographic characteristics, module for cultural variables, module for population stereotype, module for usability testing, and module for data storage and analysis. Finally findings are summarized and further research prospects are outlined.

This study focused on the fitting window structure provided by the virtual fitting service web page. We analyzed the current cases and identified the user's needs for the service through usability assessment, survey, and FGI experiments. As a result of the design, the fitting window of the existing web page was opened at the same time as the site was accessed to improve the hassle of using the icons due to their small size and poor visibility. In the case of fitting windows, the problem of information delivery was supplemented so that even the initial user could understand the fitting map of the existing method, and additional items needed for user propensity were provided so that the service could be used accurately and easily. As a result of this study, it can be used as a basic research material in future virtual fitting service studies and is expected to provide good implications to fashion marketers.

When designing the interface of the web site, we must consider what users want and need in the design, because design trends are recently changing from user interface design to user experience design. In this paper, we present the method to apply the user experience design when designing the main page of the web site. We select representative online markets and analyze the information elements which compose the main page. Using the eye tracking method which measure user's visual attention frequency, we compare the main page with the wire-frame and analyze changes of the visual attention frequency over time. As a result of experiments, it is efficient to allocate the important information as the image or the moving image to the center of main page for use's visual attention at the time of designing the main page of the online market.

The computer programs based upon graphic user interface(GUI) became commonplace with the advance of computer technology. Nevertheless, programs for the visually-handicapped have still remained at the level of TTS(text to speech) programs and this prevents many visually-handicapped from enjoying the pleasure and convenience of the information age. This paper is, paying attention to the importance of character recognition in images, about the configuration of the system that converts text in the image selected by a user to the speech by extracting the character part, and carrying out character recognition.

In this paper, we propose an software architecture for home network gateway set-top-box that supports the connectivity between various consumer devices and the Internet simultaneously. To improve the scalability of the software, the proposed architecture uses the abstracted protocol driving structure, and to enhance the user-friendliness, the unified device access and management user interface is implemented using web technology. A prototype for the proposed architecture is implemented for evaluating the usability under the home network test bed.

Recently, massive amount of infonnation is provided for the internet users. So users want to search information on Internet, but it is difficult to search information what you want. In this paper, we propose a personal Web-agent system using Case-based learning, Web-Guide. Web-Guide consists of two sub-system, interface-system and learning-system. Interface-system operates other web-browser nearly the same and connects user to system. And interface-system transfer datas of current page to learning-queue. Learning-system visit and evaluate the value of each page in learning-queue using evaluation-function that gave weight values occupied by analyzing tag used the character of HTML document. After all users who are known about artificial intelligence well and not made experiments by using Web-Guide, they reached their desired sites faster than before.

The web might be today's most widely-used technology and over the past few years, the web has evolved through various phases and is a mature technology Specially, the web interface technologies, such as folksonomy, tagging, RSS have been developed and changed with respect to user-friendly. In this paper, we should apply to not only the general structure scheme but also the tagging technology for POI information management and develop POIM(POI Management tool)for it. For POI service with user-friendly, the user can available to define, modify, and delete for a specific POI object based on XML by using POIM and then these should be saved on GML.

WebDAV is a protocol to support collaboration among one or more groups in geographically distant locations through the internet. WebDAV extends the web communication protocol HTTP/1.1 to provide a standard infrastructure for .supporting asynchronous collaboration for various contents across the internet. A WebDAV client uses HTTP requests to perform a renewal and update action to the resources in WebDAY servers. So, it is desirable that the client supports the ability of authoring and version management with a good concurrency control and property management. In this paper, to enhance usability, we developed a .NET-based WebDAV client with a user interface similar to the Windows Explorer. The developed WebDAV client supports easy launching of the authoring application and appropriate lock control for the server resources. In addition, through the functionality of process monitoring, it supports automatic update of the server resources when the modification of the resources are completed by the user. The WebDAY client is a .NET-based application written in the C＃ language, running on any platform supporting a .NET framework.

In this paper, we describe TIGRIS Grid MPI Service, which is 4he WS-Resource Framework (WSRF) based services to enable an MPI job to be executed on Grid environments. It covers heterogeneous compute resources and diverse MPI libraries. The main functionalities are as follows. First, it allows an MPI user to seamlessly launch a job without knowing how to use the specific MPI library. Secondly, it executes an MPI job on the cross-site resources by supporting the Grid-enabled MPI library such as MPICH-G2. Thirdly, it enables the user to launch a job using the source code without compiling. The service is implemented on top of the services of Globus Toolkit. We provide the user interface as a web portal and CLI(Command Line Interface).
