  • The purpose of this study was to examine the factors related to satisfaction of users for the order communication system (OCS). The subjects of this study were 98 clerks at Chosun university hospital. The instruments used for this study were the conveniency and the practical application of the data developed by Lee, the satisfaction level developed by Sea Seang-mi and Kim in-sook. The data was analyzed by using the t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation, Stepwise Multiple Regression with SPSS 10.0 program. The mean scores of the conveniency, the practical application of the data and the satisfaction level of user for the OCS was 3.28, 3.29 and 3.34, respectively. In general characteristics of the respondents, influencing factors to the perceived the conveniency of user for the OCS were gender, career and department. In general characteristics of the respondents, influencing factors to the perceived the practical application of the data of user for the OCS were department. In general, characteristics of the respondents, influencing factors to the perceived the satisfaction level of user for the OCS were gender, career and department. The correlation between the satisfaction level and the practical application of the data were statistically significant. The main factors influencing to the satisfaction level of user for the OCS were the practical application of the data (90.3%). In conclusion, The main factors influencing to the satisfaction level of user for the OCS were the practical application of the data. Therefore, it is recommended that guidebooks of user for the OCS or various OCS programs to promote the satisfaction level of user for the OCS and to improve the satisfaction level of user for the OCS should be developed.

  • This study figured out how could mobile contents quality factors, such as usefulness, accuracy, timeliness, entertaining, economic, security etc., affect satisfaction by user individuality using empirical analysis with an aim of finding difference in content quality factors which have an influence on mobile contents satisfaction by user characteristics in integrated view systemically. The result of analysis shows that usefulness has an influence on satisfaction in principle regardless of user characteristics. This study discovered that both of usefulness and entertaining are significant to satisfaction in the groups with high-user individuality. On the other hand, in the groups with low-user individuality both of usefulness and accuracy affect satisfaction. Findings show that contents preference can be different based on user characteristics. Implications are discussed and limitations are proposed based on empirical analysis.

  • Flexible display interface is capable of creating new user behaviors based on its characteristics of outstanding surface representation and display transformations such as bending, rolling, and folding. Thus, it is being discussed that the newly emerging flexible display interface can offer a different user experience that the previous flat display couldn't. However, as it is hard to find studies that identify the general attributes of user experience in the area of flexible display research, this study was intended to identify and label experience that users expect in a flexible display interface. For this purpose, this study first investigated literature reviews about user experience in previous digital media interface and flexible display interface and conducted interview research in order to reflect the users' perception, collecting 52 items that represent user experience. In addition, these items were used as measurements to deduct different types of user experience, and 308 interviewees participated in the interview research process. As a result, 10 types of user experience were developed from the results of the survey: functionality, understandability, pleasure, convenience, familiarity, stimulation, adaptability, collectivity, reality, and aesthetic.

  • Web sites are needed to approach the lots of ways that increase the user intuitive play over communicating information nowadays. So the stimulus of tactile sense establish it's importance through active study in other fields and we expect great effect to applicate this tactile sense in web site. This study analyzed both the experience for intuition and the increase of intuitive play in web site and investigated the importance of tactile sense. This user experience through the tactile sense not only communicates between designer and user but has the intuitive play for users. So we analyzed the factors of tactile user experience in web site and considered it's application and then applied these factors in internet shopping mail. After that, we analyzed the users'response in the Internet shopping mall using the tactile user experiences through the research.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the optimal user/librarian interface in information searching. In order to achive the purpose, the 150 unskilled students as subjects have participated in the study. According to the change of the subjects' psychological information states by the access points within the library system, the subjects have been classified into the five types of model: the initial information state, the accepted identification information state, the bibliographic information state, the stack information state, and the location information state. Librarian's searching support is done for 10 minutes at the each access points. To develop the optimal user/librarian interface, the expected values of the models are calculated. The resultants are as follows: 1) The expected value of the initial information states model is 18.94: 2) The expected value of the accepted identification information model is 27.06: 3) The expected value of the bibliographic information state model is 27.06: 4) The expected value of the stack information state model is 22.38: 5) The expected value of the location information state model is 22.38. Those expected values are compared with each other. The model with the lowest expected value is chosen as the optimal user/librarian interface model. In the result, the user's initial information state model of the optimal user/librarian interface in information searching is developed. In order to search the information with the most effect, user must be interfaced with the librarian at his/her own initial information state.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine a user-centered and interactivity-based user-participatory design that could be completed by users by helping them to better understand a diverse experience and be involved in a design process. The aspects of expression that were marked by direct user participation and subsequent interactivity in the areas of design, the arts and fashion were investigated to determine their characteristics. The kind of fashion that is characterized by interactivity is of significance in that it is variable according to the purpose of the users, it's possible to have sustained communication with them through their direct participation, and that the designer is consequently able to build a new, communicative relationship with the users as co-creators. This study found that the characteristics of interactivity through direct user participation are classified into four characteristics; One is playfulness. which offers a new experience and way to create fun and vale. Another is variability, which is changeability of form; the third is the convergence of technology and function. Lastly, the fourth is virtuality. This is to embody images in virtual space.

  • By exploring plausible relations between factors of service quality and user satisfaction, this study has derived significant determinants of user satisfaction. Based on the analytical findings, this study suggested practical measures to enhance user satisfaction of special libraries. If we determine the priority order of three dimensions of service quality depending on specialized areas of special libraries, and revise the items of higher correlations with user satisfaction, then we could effectively and efficiently level up user satisfaction of special libraries.

  • This study is to examine how big data collects user's information and is used; the status quo of exposures of user's information, and various measures of self-control by the user. This study is also to look their ethical issues and discuss problems of privacy concerning big data. As a way for users to self-control their information, they need to check the log-in state of web portal sites and set up their account so that customized advertisement and location information cannot be tracked. When posting a blog, the value of posting should be controlled. When becoming a member of a web site, users must check the access terms before agreement and beware of chained agreements and/or membership joins in order to control the exposure of their personal information. To prevent information abuse through big data through which user's information is collected and analyzed, all users must have the right to control, block or allow personal information. For an individual to have the right to control over his information, users must understand the concept of user's information and practice ethics accompanied by newly given roles in the Internet space, which will lead to the establishment of the sound and mature information society on the Internet.

  • The purpose of this study is to survey the real user educations which are practiced at school libraries in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeongi provinces, to analyze them, and to propose the efficient methods for user education in school libraries. The results of this study are like these: 1) Teacher librarians have to be placed in every school library. 2) Teacher librarians have to develop the education contents for library user education. 3) School libraries ought to be supported by education authorities and school directors. 4) School libraries should practice the user education based on the regular school curriculum. It's thought that it's important to solve the problems like these: teacher librarians' disposition, and the attentions of school directors, students, teachers, and parents, the development of education contents, and the having plenty time for user education.
