A hybrid structural design and optimization methodology that combines the strengths of genetic algorithms, local search techniques, and parallel computing is developed to evolve optimal truss systems in this research effort. The primary objective that is met in evolving near-optimal or optimal structural systems using this approach is the capability of satisfying user-defined design criteria while minimizing the computational time required. The application of genetic algorithms to the design and optimization of truss systems supports conceptual design by facilitating the exploration of new design alternatives. In addition, final shape optimization of the evolved designs is supported through the refinement of member sizes using local search techniques for further improvement. The use of the hybrid approach, therefore, enhances the overall process of structural design. Parallel computing is implemented to reduce the total computation time required to obtain near-optimal designs. The support of human-computer interaction during layout optimization and local optimization is also discussed since it assists in evolving optimal truss systems that better satisfy a user's design requirements and design preferences.

통신과 방송 미디어 정보의 단순 융합으로 출발한 IPTV가 이제는 이용자 요구에 능동적으로 적응하는 개인형 IPTV 서비스 형태로 발전하고 있다. 본 논문은 IPTV 서비스의 개인화 및 사용자 중심의 서비스 기능을 제공하기 위하여 서비스 오버레이 네트워크 기반위에서 IPTV 서비스를 능동적으로 제어 관리하는 DSON 구조를 제안한다. 또한 능동적인 서비스 제어 기능을 수행하기 위하여 DSON을 이용한 커뮤니티 IPTV 서비스, DSON 기반 홈 IPTV 방송 서비스 모델들이 제안된다.

We present a visual programming system for signal analysis; it allows the user to construct signal processing algorithms by assembling visually fundamental signal processing blocks, and to observe the processed signals as well as the original signals in detail by magnifying a portion and measuring the time interval and amplitude between two points. Each fundamental signal processing block is implemented as an independent dynamically linked library module. Therefore, the user can expand the system processing capability by simply adding dynamically linked library modules without restructuring the entire system.

The purpose of this study is twofold: first, to identify the factors affecting the relationships between the organizational context for work innovation(organizational citizenship behaviors, IS innovation resistance, and user IT capability) and the intention of ERP extension usage, and second, to examine the mediating effect of the ERP performance on the relationships between the ERP adaptation and the intention of ERP extension usage. In order to achieve the goals of this study, data were obtained from 304 members of the seven organizations such as manufacturers, distributors and service industries, and were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 5.0. The study results are as follows. There were positive effects of the organizational citizenship behaviors and the user IT capability on the change management activity. The IS innovation resistance had a negative effects on the change management activity. The change management activity had a positive effect on the ERP adaptation. The ERP adaptation had a positive effect on the ERP performance and the intention of ERP extension usage. The ERP performance had a positive effect on the intention of ERP extension usage. In addition, there was a partial mediating effect of the ERP performance on the relationships between ERP adaptation and intention of ERP extension usage. Based on these findings, the implications and limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.

최근 사용자 정보와 주변 환경의 정보를 수집할 수 있는 센서의 기술과 휴대 디바이스의 성능이 매우 발달되어 왔다. 이러한 기술 발달로 인해 사용자는 매우 다양한 콘텐츠를 이용할 수 있게 되었다. 그러나 사용자가 휴대한 디바이스의 특성에 따라 이용할 수 있는 콘텐츠가 제한적이다. 이것을 해결하기 위해 하나의 콘텐츠를 여러 디바이스에서 사용하기 위한 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 본 연구에서는 사용자 주변의 센서를 통한 다양한 정보를 수집하여 사용자의 상황에 맞는 특정 콘텐츠를 선정하고, 선정된 콘텐츠를 사용자가 휴대한 디바이스 특성에 맞게 변환하여 서비스를 제공하는 시스템을 제안한다.

본 논문에서는 색상과 밝기가 조절 가능한 LED 조명 기기를 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 조명 기기는 RGB와 백색 LED로 구성되고 마이크로 컨트롤러에 의해 구동된다. 4색 LED를 사용하여 자연계의 거의 모든 색상을 조명 시스템 내에서 표현하도록 하였다. 조명기구의 수명 연장을 위해 LED를 흐르는 전류는 최대값을 넘지 않도록 PWM을 이용한 전류 제어를 실시하였다. 또한 사용자가 미리 설정한 여러 개의 색상과 밝기정보를 저장하고 다시 불러올 수 있는 기능을 탑재하여 사용자가 손쉽게 원하는 조명을 설정하여 사용하도록 하였다. 구현된 조명시스템은 전자기적합성 검사 등을 통과하였으며 실제 조명기구 제품으로 사용가능하다.

OMG가 개발한 비즈니스 프로세스 모델링 언어인 BPMN은 하위 프로세스를 하나의 노드로 나타낼 수 있게 하여, 사용자가 프로세스의 세부사항으로부터 추상화된 뷰(view)를 볼 수 있도록 한다. 이러한 능력은 수평적 추상으로 불릴 수 있는 유용한 추상의 방향이다. 그러나 다양한 비즈니스 이해당사자(stakeholder)들이 비즈니스 프로세스를 자신의 관심(interest)의 관점에서 볼 수 있기를 희망하는 경우에는 수직적 추상이라는 다른 종류의 추상능력이 필요하다. 예를 들어, 이해당사자들이 특정 수행자집단의 관점에서 프로세스를 보기를 원할 수도 있고, 특정한 목표들의 관점에서 프로세스를 보고자 할 수도 있다. 이 논문은 슈퍼에지(super edge)의 개념을 도입하여 BPMN의 수평적 추상능력을 확장하고, 나아가 '관점속성(aspect attribute)'과 '관심명세(interest specification)'의 개념과 기호를 도입하여 BPMN이 수직적 추상능력을 갖도록 확장한다.

최근 기업 간 기술격차 해소로 사용경험 개선을 위한 제품 디자인 혁신이 기업 경쟁력의 핵심 요소로 인식되고 있으나 국내 중소 중견 기업들의 사용경험 평가 지원을 위한 서비스 시스템 개발은 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구는 국내 중소 중견 제조기업의 차별적인 제품 설계를 지원하기 위한 사용자 관점의 웹 기반 제품 사용경험 인증 평가 시스템 개발을 목표로 한다. 사용자 중심의 웹기반 시스템의 인터페이스 설계를 위해 사용자의 기능적 요구사항을 파악한 후, 이를 바탕으로 사용자 중심의 워크플로우 분석, 사용자별 태스크 정의, 사용자 니즈를 고려한 기능 정의를 수행 하였으며 최종적으로 주요 메뉴를 구성해 시스템을 설계하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 사용경험 인증 평가 시스템은 사용자별 인터랙션을 고려해 설계되었으며, 특히 평가 효율화 데이터베이스를 통해 일정 수준 이상의 사용경험 평가 프로세스 수행을 지원하고, 지식 데이터베이스를 제공하여 평가 설계 및 제품 개선에 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 서비스 플랫폼은 사용경험 평가를 수행하는 컨설팅업체와 사용경험 평가에 어려움을 겪고 있는 중소 중견기업을 연결함으로써 기업의 실질적 사용경험 평가를 지원하고 자체적인 제품 개발 역량 제고에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

A web based E-mail system consists of serves which supply mail accounts and service, and clients which take part of interfacing with users. The web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer are the popular clients. Users who cannot afford to get an E-mail id in general mail servers are, therefore, able to reach a e-mailing service in the web environment by using client programs in connection with a mail server. Although the quality of service has been upgraded a lot in recent days, it doesn't provide with satisfactory services anymore. In this paper, we intend to design a mail agent system based on the web environment. Through this system we could reach a convenient user interface based on Internet Explorer and could easily access administratory environment on the basis of NT Server 4.0. Using the service engine dominent in mail agent system, it could provide with convenient user interfacing tools like responding the absence of users, mail filtering and refusing messages, etc. And it would ultimately make possible a constant system security, by preventing system failure phenomena caused by extraordinary uses beyond its capability.

본 논문은 서로 다른 시스템들 간에 구조화된 멀티미디어 문서정보 교환을 위한 국제표준 문서구조인 ODA의 문서 포맷터 설계 및 구현에 관한 것이다. 포맷터는 공통배치구조로부터 특정배치구조를 생성함과 동시에 사용자의 상호작용에 따라서 특정배치구조와 특정논리구조의 관계를 설정토록 하였으며, 이를 위해 역추적(backtracking) 메커니즘과 배치 지시자(layout directive)의 처리규칙을 제안하였다. 특히 복잡한 내부구조를 투명하게 보임으로써 보다 용이하게 문서작성을 수행토록 사용자 인터페이스를 대화식 처리방식으로 구현하였다.
