국립공원 이용객의 변동요인과 수요예측 모형설정 (The Variables Affecting the Fluctuation of Visitors and the Construction of Models of Demand Projection in National Park)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify demand and methods of projection, including to prove the variables affecting the fluctuation of visitors and to analyze the relationship between these variables in National Park. Statistical analysis method (Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, ANOVA, and Model diagnostics) was carried out by computer program SAS/pc. 13 variables (1. Total Population, 2. Per Capita PDI, 3. Employment Ratio of S.O.C. & others, 4. NO. of Passenger Car, 5. Length of Roads, 6. Leisure Expenditure of Farm Household, 7. Leisure Expenditure of Urban Household, 8. Price Index, 9. NO. of Bus, 10. Exchange on Dollars, 11. Export, 12. Import, and 13. Visitors in National Park) had been used to this study. The scope of time period is during the last 17 years (1970-1986). The results were as follows; 1) Participation depends only on the specific characteristics of the economic factors (Price Index and Leisure Expenditure of Urban Household). These factors are the importance factors directly affecting the participation of visitors. The statistical Model for projecting the visitors in National Parks is the function of "Visitors in National Parks (thousand)=14915+0.210311*Leisure Expenditure of Urband Household (won)-157.835619*Price Index(1985=100)" 2) The external factors affecting the participation depends upon the interelated features of availability and accessibility (NO. of Passenger Car, Length of Roads, and NO. of Bus) of recreation resources or sites, and the economic factors (Per Capita PDI, Export, and Import). These factors are the factors indirectly affecting the participation of visitors. 3) The participation depends on the specific characteristics of demographic factors (Total Population and Employment Ratio of S.O.C. & others). These factors are the factors indirectly affecting the participation of visitors. 4) The unexpected fluctuation of yearly visitors depends on oil shock or inflation (1971, 1973-1974, 1979-1980), promulgation of national emergency decrees (1971-1972, 1974-1975, 1979-1980), and national events (assassination of president Park's wife, Madame Yuk in 1974 and president Park I 1979).

중국의 철광석 수입량과 철강 수출량이 부정기선 운임지수에 미치는 영향 (A Study of Correlation Between China Iron Ore Import, Steel Export Activity and Dry Bulk Index : Focus on Capesize C5/C10/C14 and Supramax S2/S3)

  • 본 연구에서는 중국의 철광석 수입량과 철강제품 수출량 변동이 부정기선 해운시장에 미치는 영향을 실증분석하기 위해 가설을 설정하고 검증하고자 하였다. 중국 철광석 수입량 및 철강제품 수출량과 기타 외생변수(선복량, 국제유가, 중국PMI지수)를 독립변수로 하고, 발틱운임지수(BDI) 및 중국 철광석 수입과 철강제품 수출과 상관관계가 있을 것으로 추정되는 Capesize의 지수인 BCI, C5, C10, C14와 Supramax 지수 BSI, S2, S3를 종속변수로하여, 각 독립변수별 상관관계 및 다중회귀분석으로 검증하였다. 상관분석결과 중국의 철광석 수입량은 C14 지수를 제외하고 나머지 BDI, BCI, BSI, C5, C10, S2, S3와는 관계가 없었으며, 기타 외생변수로 선복량과 국제유가와는 정(+)의 상관관계를 나타내었고 중국 PMI지수와는 관계가 없었다. 철강제품 수출량은 BDI, BCI, BSI, C5, C10, C14, S2, S3, 국제유가와는 부(-)상관 관계를 보였으며, 철광석 수입량, 선복량, 중국PMI지수와는 관련이 없었다. 다중회귀분석 결과를 통해 도출된 가설의 검증결과로써 중국 철광석 수입량과 선복량, 국제유가, 중국 PMI 지수 중 중국 PMI지수는 BDI, BCI, C5, C10, C14에 영항을 줄 것 이다라는 가설은 기각되었으며, 국제유가 및 선복량이 지수에 영향을 준다는 가설이 채택되었다. 중국 철강제품 수출량과 지수와의 가설검증에서는 BDI와 S3지수에 영향을 줄 것이다라는 가설은 채택되었으며, BSI와 S2에 영향을 줄 것이란 가설은 기각되었다. 본 연구 분석결과에서 공통적으로 선복량과 유가는 모든 가설 검증 결과에서 채택된 만큼 국내 부정기 해운 시장에 참여하고 있는 국내 기업들은 관련 지표의 지속적인 모니터링을 통해 대응 방안을 모색할 필요가 있을 것이다.

수성 폴리머 도료를 이용한 초음파 스프레이 공정으로 형성된 폴리머 절연층 미세구조 특성 (Morphology Characteristics of Insulating Laser based on Aqueous Polymer Resin Fabricated by Ultrasonic Spray Coating Process)

  • Commonly used oil-based polymer resin has environmental and safety issues. Many researches for replacing the harmful solvent-borne resins to water-borne resins have been investigated to purify harmful environmental resources and follow the export and import of hazardous materials regulations. In this research, ultrasonic spray coatings of aqueous polymer resin were studied to fabricate thin insulating layer (${\sim}{\mu}m$) on the rectangular copper wire. It needs to have appropriate wettability between resin and substrate during the ultrasonic spray coating process to coat aqueous polymer uniformly. Furthermore, stabilities of coating solution and fabricating process are required to form thin insulating layer on the substrate. In here, physical characteristics such as viscosity of 6 types of commercial polymer dispersions and emersions were analyzed to confirm compatibility for ultrasonic spray coating process. These resins were dissolved in isopropyl alcohol, used for true solvent, and were diluted with ethanol, utilized for diluent. Also, solubilities, dispersion characteristics, and viscosities of these diluted polymer resin solutions were confirmed. Dispersion characteristic and viscosity of coating solution affects jetting of ultrasonic spray coating and these jetting characteristics influence morphologies of insulating layer. In conclusion, we have known that aqueous polymer solution should have outstanding dispersion characteristic and certain range of viscosity to fabricate thin polymer insulating layer uniformly with ultrasonic spray coating.

Analysis of Factors Influencing Korea's Air Trade with China

  • This study aims to identify the representative factors affecting the air trade between the two countries over the past 20 years, targeting China, Korea's largest trading partner for air transport. In the analysis, the two countries' GDP, GDP per capita, and tariff rates, as well as exchange rates, international oil prices, and FTAs were used as variables. For the analysis method, OLS multiple regression analysis was performed, and each was analyzed by dividing the export amount, import amount, and trade amount. As a result of the analysis, China's GDP and Korea's GDP per capita showed a positive (+) direction, an increase in the exchange rate resulted in an increase in the amount of trade, and an increase in the tariff rate resulted in a decrease in the amount of trade. Whether the FTA was concluded or not acted as a factor in increasing the amount of trade between the two countries.

아파트매매가격지수와 거시경제변수에 관한 시계열모형 연구 (Time series models on trading price index of apartment and some macroeconomic variables)

  • 아파트매매 가격지수의 변동은 국가의 경제뿐만 아니라 사회, 산업, 문화 등의 전 분야에 영향을 준다. 본 연구에서는 아파트매매 가격지수를 거시경제변수로 설명하는 시계열모형을 연구하고자 한다. 설명변수로 사용한 거시경제변수는 우리나라 주택담보 대출금리, 원유수입 물가지수, 소비자 물가지수, KOSPI 주가지수, 국내총생산 (GDP), 국민총소득 (GKI)의 6가지 변수를 사용하였다. 아파트매매 가격지수와 모든 경제변수는 2001년 9월부터 2017년 5월까지 약 16년간의 월별 자료를 사용하였다. 아파트매매 가격지수 자료의 설명을 위해 시계열 모형 중 자기회귀오차 (ARE) 모형을 사용하여 분석하였다. ARE 모형 분석 결과 아파트매매 가격지수는 1개월 전 아파트매매 가격지수, 주택담보 대출금리와 KOSPI 주가지수에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.

Multiplex PCR 방법을 이용한 국내 승인 5개 LM 유채의 검출법 개발 (Development of multiplex PCR-based detection method for five approved LM canola events in Korea)

  • 캐놀라(canola)는 식용유 및 바이오 에너지 생산을 위해 전 세계적으로 널리 재배되는 작물이다. 캐놀라의 수요가 증가하면서 유전자변형 캐놀라에 대한 중요성이 높아짐에 따라 LM 캐놀라 재배면적이 해마다 증가하고 있다. 국내에서는 상업적으로 활용되는 캐놀라를 100% 전량 수입에 의존하고 있으며, 이에 따라 비의도적으로 유출 가능성이 있는 수입 LM 캐놀라의 안전관리 및 생태계 위해성 평가가 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 국내 수입 승인 유통 LM 캐놀라 5개 이벤트(Topas 19/2, Rf3, Ms8, RT73, T45)의 명확한 검출을 위한 동시증폭 검출법(multiplex PCR)을 확립하고자 하였다. PCR 반응 조건은 5개 LM 이벤트가 동시에 명확히 검출되는 최적 primer 농도 및 반응 조건을 통해 Topas 19/2 (95 bp), Rf3 (139 bp), Ms8 (250 bp), RT73 (317 bp), T45 (378 bp)의 서로 다른 생성물 크기로 명확히 구분되도록 하였다. 최적 primer 농도는 반응액 최종농도 0.3~1.0 pmol로 primer 쌍 마다 각각 다른 cocktail을 만들었고, PCR 반응 조건은 $95^{\circ}C$ 5분 반응 후, $95^{\circ}C$ 15초, $55^{\circ}C$ 20초 20회 반응하고, 다시 $95^{\circ}C$ 15초, $60^{\circ}C$ 20초 20 회 반응하였을 때 최적 검출이 이루어졌다. 본 연구의 결과로 제시된 multiplex PCR 검출 조건은 국내 수입 유통 LM 캐놀라의 자연환경 모니터링을 위한 검출에 있어 소요되는 연구인력, 비용 및 시간을 보다 효율적으로 개선할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

한국수산업의 해외진출전략에 관한 연구 (Foreign Entry Strategies for Korean Fishery Firms)

  • Fishery resources are still abundant compared with other resources and the possibility of exploitation is probably great. The Korean fishery industry has grown remarkably since 1957, and Korea is ranked as one of the major fishery countries. Its of fishery products reached the 9th in the world and the value of exports was 5th in 1982. But recently a growth rate has slowed down, due to the enlargement of territorial seas by the declaration of the 200 mile, Exclusive Economic Zone, the tendency to develop fishery resources strate-gically in international bargaining, the change in function of the international organizations, the expansion of regulated waters, the illegal arrest of our fishing boats, the rapid rise in oil prices, and the fall in fish prices, the development of fishery resources as a symbol of nationalism, the fishing boats decreptitude, the rise of crew wages, regulations on fishing methods, fish species, fishing season, size of fish, and mesh size, fishing quotas and the demand of excessive fishing royalties. Besides the the obligation of coastal countries, employing crews of their host countries is also an example of the change in the international environment which causes the aggravation of foreign profit of fishing firms. To ameliorate the situation, our Korean fishery firms must prepare efficient plans and study systematically to internationalize themselves because such existing methods as conventional fishing entry and licence fishing entry are likely to be unable to cope with international environmental change. Thus, after the systematic analysis of the problem, some new combined alternatives might be proposed. These are some of the new schemes to support this plan showing the orientation of our national policy: 1. Most of the coastal states, to cope with rapid international environmental change and to survive in the new era of ocean order, have rationalized their higher governmental structure concerning the fishery industries. And the coastal countries which are the objectives of our expecting entry, demand excessive economic and technical aid, limit the number of fishing boats’entry and the use of our foreign fishing bases, and regulate the membership of the international fishery commissions. Especially, most of the coastal or island countries are recently independent states, which are poorer in national budget, depend largely on fishing royalties and licence entry fees as their main resources of national finance. 2. Alternatives to our entry to deep sea fishing, as internationalization strategies, are by direct foreign investment method. About 30 firms have already invested approximately US $ 8 million in 9 coastal countries. Areas of investment comprise the southern part of the Atlantic Ocean, the Moroccan sea and five other sea areas. Trawling, tuna purse seining and five other fields are covered by the investment. Joint-venture is the most prominent method of this direct investment. If we consider the number of entry firms, the host countries, the number of seas available and the size of investment, this method of cooperation is perhaps insufficient so far. Our fishery firms suffer from a weakness in international competitive ability, an insufficiency of information, of short funds, incompetency in the market, the unfriendliness of host coastal countries, the incapability of partners in joint-ventures and the political instability of the host countries. To enlarge our foreign fishing grounds, we are to actively adopt the direct investment entry method and to diversity our collaboraboration with partner countries. Consequently, besides proper fishing, we might utilize forward integration strategies, including the processing fied. a. The enterprise emigration method is likely to be successful in Argentina. It includes the development of Argentinian fishing grounds which are still not exploited in spite of abundant resources. Besides, Arentina could also be developed as a base for the exploitation of the krill resources and for further entries into collaboration with other Latin American countries. b. The co-business contract fishing method works in American territorial seas where American fishermen sell their fishery products to our factory ships at sea. This method contributes greatly to obtaining more fishing quotas and in innovation bottom fishing operation. Therefore we may apply this method to other countres to diffuse our foreign fishing entry. c. The new fishing ground development method was begun in 1957 by tuna long-line experimental fishing in the Indian Ocean. It has five fields, trawling, skipjack pole fishing and shrimp trawling, and so on. Recently, Korean fisheries were successful in the development of the Antarctic Ocean krill and tuna purse seining. 3. The acceleration of the internationalization of deep sea fishing; a. Intense information exchange activities and commission participation are likely to be continues as our contributions to the international fishery organizations. We should try to enter international fishery commissions in which we are not so far participating. And we have to reform adequately to meet the changes of the function of the international commissions. With our partner countries, we ought to conclude bilateral fishery agreements, thus enlarging our collaboration. b. Our government should offer economic and technical aids to host countries to facilitate our firms’fishery entry and activities. c. To accelerate technical innovation, our fishery firms must invest greater amount in technical innovation, at the same time be more discriminatory in importing exogeneous fishery technologies. As for fishing methods; expanded use of multi-purpose fishing boats and introduction of automation should be encuraged to prevent seasonal fluctuations in fishery outputs. d. The government should increases financial and tax aid to Korean firms in order to elevate already weak financial structure of Korean fishery firms. e. Finally, the government ought to revise foreign exchange regulations being applied to deep sea fishery firms. Furthermore, dutes levied on foreign purchaed equipments and supplies used by our deep sea fishing boats thould be reduced or exempted. when the fish caught by Korean partner of joint-venture firms is sold at the home port, pusan, import duty should be exempted.
