Korean construction companies are now in very difficult situation due to the recent construction accident, opening of domestic market, the advent of boundless competition period in WTO, etc .Introduction of quality management system is quite urgent in order to strengthen our international competitiveness through the superiority of quality and foster the long term growth of organization. Substantially, many companies are proceeding with or completed the introduction of quality management system but small and medium sized construction companies have difficulties due to lack of money and man power. In this paper, five stage procedures, which can be efficiently applied to introduction and operation of qualify management system, have been suggested to help the minor construction companies which want to adopt the quality management system. This study is considered to be helpful for the companies which will introduce quality management system.

The object of this paper is to Study the work measurement which is one of the principal technique in work study for the improvement of Productivity in the foundry industry. Most of domestic mechanical enterprise using the expensive foreign machinerise is inoufficient for the standardization of the operation method and time. Therefore, the improvement of operation and productivity through the introduction of the work measurement is an urgent task. Therefore, this paper is contribute to the improvement of operation and to reduce the loss time through the application of the work measurement based on the case study conducted at W-Foundry Corporation. The summary of this study is follows; 1. The measurement of operation efficiency can be accomplished by the standard time. 2. The detailed causes and counter-proposal of loss time can be established, 3. More than 50% of loss time is attributed to c/p.

In this paper, a personal air-conditioning system considering the human thermal adaptability is analyzed. Although the conventional personal air-conditioner was proofed to be satisfactory in providing for the thermal comfort, it is being questioned on the term of its energy efficiency. Therefore, it is important and urgent to develop new types of personal air-conditioning system with sustainable control strategy that can ensure energy saving and thermal comfort simultaneously. In this study, we first examined the problems of the conventional personal air-conditioning system with field interview and laboratory experiment in terms of usage, management and thermal comfort, and proposed the energy-saving personal air-conditioning system considering the human thermal adaptation. Then a laboratory experiment was performed to analyze the characteristics of the human thermal comfort under severe indoor thermal conditions, which were controlled using a new personal air-conditioning unit designed according to the proposal. The results help to illustrate the alleviation effect of the new personal air-conditioning system, and indicate that the thermal alleviation time is useful to maintain the thermal comfort with efficient usage of energy.

A novel audio watermark algorithm, the Modified Patchwork Algorithm, is applied to the speech to show that it is effective for digital broadcasting systems. Digital broadcasting system does not separate speech from audio data. However. speech data is very important especially for educational broadcasting. Speech can carry more information than video data. Thus, intellectual property management and protection for speech data is urgent. This paper addresses the technical issues, speech watermark algorithm, and its robustness against malicious attacks.

Lately, among concrete component used in construction works, the aggregate is the most important material because it hold about 70~80 Vo1% of most structural materials. Considering that the demand of aggregate is on the continuous increase in the construction works year after year, it is a very urgent thing to develop a substitute aggregate for river aggregate. This paper, an experimental study on the effect of corrosion protection by tighting concrete used fly-ash and silica fume, is to investigate workability and engineering properties of concrete used fly-ash and silica fume. As a test results, contrary to SF, workability of concrete used FA is inclined to be improved. And in the case of containing SF, the compressive strength containing admixtures is higher than plain concrete with increasing curing age.

The frame of pipe greenhouses in Korea have been collapsed increasingly due to very weak in structure caused by the heavy snow and strong wind. In order to reduce the collapse of green houses, it is urgent to develop the new structural system in stress tolerant greenhouses. Therefore, this paper performed the structural analysis of greenhouse frame in accordance with snow loads and wind loads. Three type models in structural frame configuration of greenhouses, that is, existing type, diagrid type, and honeycomb type are selected. It was classfied the section shape of structural frames in greenhouses into arch style, standard style, and diagonal standard style. As a result of this paper, it was verified that the structural system of diagrid type is better than that of existing type against snow loads and wind loads in the frame of greenhouses.

This study proposed a plan to seek a more practical way of life norm education of today's families on the basis of family rule in the traditional society by comparison between the older generation's family life rule education and college students. The study was made by analysing rules in Chosun Dynasty questionaire nair was drawn up on the basis of it. The subjects of this study were college students of one largest cities and their 800 parents. Collected data was processed by frequency analysis, ANOVA, interrelation and regression which are used through SPSS computer programs, Study results show that acceptance level is higher among the older generation but the necessity of family standare education is urgent beyond the generations. Also people who have lived with grand parents feel more necessity of education family norm. When the education could not be made in families because parents excessive protection examination-centered education, and bad effects of mass media then emphasis has to be made to create life culture which makes family norms to be kept continuously by the education at schools, education culture centers and public facilities.

Natural and social disasters, such as typhoons, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, fires, explosions, and traffic accidents occur frequently around the world. In Korea, a vicious cycle of large-scale accidents caused by natural disasters and insensitivity to safety is repeated each year. In particular, the tragic sinking of the Sewol ferry in 2014 and strong earthquakes with a magnitude of 5.0 and greater in Gyeongju and Pohang in 2016 and 2017, respectively, threw the entire country into a state of shock, increasing the public anxiety regarding disaster preparedness. This paper discusses the trends in broadcast emergency alert systems used to minimize damage from a disaster by delivering urgent status information quickly and accurately through a broadcast network, and to provide information regarding disaster risk and emergency evacuation procedures.

Opening 21th Century, all the Countries of the world has been focusing on build up the foundation of cultural infrastructure in a various way, since the awareness of importance for cultural design products has been turnover. For this reason, all the countries in the world, recognize that it is more important than any other things to plan to establish a structure which is suitable to the real conditions of a region in order to efficiently manage or operate their cultural environment, in particular, they think it is urgent they should contrive to develop their regional industries with new information media, introduction and spread of the up-to-date technique of design. However, our regional related industries very difficulty for the moment for them to apply new, designing technique or to settle technical bottlenecks themselves. Accordingly, in order to resolve such a structural point at issue, this study has carried the newly designed and developed, wooden, cultural craft items that were produced by utilizing the ultramodern digital technology installed at TIDIC, it would contribute to achieve some global cultural products.
