<디스트릭트 9> 사회비평으로서의 공상과학 (District 9 : Science Fiction as Social Critique)

  • 이 연구는 2009년에 개봉한 영화 District 9이 인간과 외계인의 접촉을 주제로 삼는 SF 장르를 재작업하는 방식을 살펴본다. 같은 해에 개봉한 영화 Avatar처럼 District 9은 인간과 외계인 간의 갈등과 혼종성의 문제를 재고하고 인간과 대비되는 비인간들을 침략자가 아닌, 인간들의 억압과 잔인함의 대상으로 소개한다. 많은 공상과학 영화가 불분명한 미래의 시점에서 발생하는 반면, District 9 영화는 SF 장르의 경계를 넘어 도시 리얼리즘을 가까이 하며 현재의 도시 인구 문제들에 대한 비평을 제공한다. 외계 생명체는 인간의 기록된 과거의 한 부분으로 등장하게 되며 이 영화의 사건은 명확하게 확인되는 현재 시점과 요하네스버그라는 잘 알려진 도시에서 발생된다. 명백한 반-할리우드 영화인 District 9은 남아프리카의 대도시와 역사적으로 연관되어 있는 분열과 갈등, 그리고 도시 빈곤과 불법 이민의 문제점들을 다루면서 타자와의 접촉에 대한 인간의 불안감을 탐구한다. 이 논문은 이 특정 배경이 어떻게 이 영화를 구성하는지 그리고 외계인들이 도시 슬럼가의 비참한 환경에서 인간 이주민들과 혼합체를 이루며 도시 인구 정책아래에 생존하는 과정을 그려내면서 남아프리카의 가장 큰 도시와 오늘날의 대도시들이 직면한 현대의 사회 문제점들의 현실적인 검토를 어떻게 유도하는지를 들여다본다. 또한 이 논문은 이 영화에서 나타난 인간과 외계생물체 간 이루어진 하이브리드를 통해 타자에 대한 인간의 착취에 저항하는 힘으로써의 잠재력에 대해 살펴본다. 비록 이 영화의 배경은 매우 지역적이지만, District 9은 영리를 추구하는 다국적기업의 명백한 착취의 관습을 그려냄으로써 보다 더 넓은 범위의 세계 관객에게 일침을 가하기도 한다. SF 영화이면서 도시 인구 충돌에 대해 사회 비평을 시도하는 영화 District 9은 불안정감과 타자에 대한 공포감이 가득한 불확실하고 잠재적 폭력성을 가진 현대 인간 세계를 그리고 있다.

도시재생 종합정보시스템 구축 - 시군구단위 쇠퇴진단시스템 구현을 중심으로 - (Total Information System for Urban Regeneration : City and District Level Decline Diagnostic System)

  • 도시재생을 효율적으로 수행하기 위해서는 전국적으로 쇠퇴정도를 파악하고 지구단위별 쇠퇴지역 및 잠재력 등을 평가할 수 있어야 한다. 이를 위해서는 다양성과 복합성을 고려한 공간정보 기반의 종합적 진단체계의 구축이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 진단체계 구축의 일환으로 도시재생 종합정보시스템 아키텍처를 설계하였다. 시스템 개발을 위해 일차적으로 시군구단위 쇠퇴진단지표 DB를 구축하고, 쇠퇴진단시스템을 개발하였다. 또한 시스템의 고도화 추진방안을 제시하였다. DB 구축은 전국 시군구를 대상으로 하였으며 이에 대한 메타데이터를 구축하였다. 시스템은 Open API 기반으로 확장이 용이하도록 설계하였다. 그리고 RIA 기술 기반의 직관적인 UI를 구현하였다. 시스템의 주요기능은 지표관리, 진단분석(시군구단위 쇠퇴진단), 정보공개 등으로 구성하였다. 고도화 방안에서는 도시재생 DB의 공간적 관계성을 고려한 정보모형을 설계하고, 시멘틱 웹의 적용방안을 제시하였다. 지구단위 분석모형의 개선방안으로 지구단위 분석모형, GIS 기반의 공간분석 플랫폼, KOPSS 분석 모듈의 연계 활용방안 등을 제시하였다. 도시재생 종합정보시스템의 활용을 통해 도시쇠퇴의 현황 파악 및 재생대상의 우선적인 수요파악을 통해 정책결정이 용이해질 것으로 기대된다.

  • This study does try to proceed on the assumption that complex buildings can vitalize urban life of modern society from contemporary complexity and cases of past failure, and intend to propose future planning guidelines and directions of the neighborhood mixed-use buildings in the housing development district of small cities. For this purpose, thirty buildings which had been built on Bugok housing district in Gimcheon from 1999 until 2007 were chosen and investigated in urban and architectural dimension. The scope of this investigation is that site size is below 400 square meter and the number of stories on the ground below 5 floor, and the method of that is through field investigation, field photographs, and recordings and drawings on those. Investigative contents could be divided and analysized into physical and functional elements in urban and architectural dimension. On the basis of these results, the future planning approach of complex buildings in medium and small cities will be considered as planning principles.

효율적 지구단위계획 수립을 위한 증강현실 기반 도시계획지원시스템 적용 연구 (Application of Augmented Reality based Urban Planning Support System for Effective District Unit Planning)

  • 본 연구는 공간계획의 일환으로 도입된 지구단위계획의 수립과정을 중심으로 GIS에 기초한 증강현실기법의 도입가능성을 검토하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위하여 증강현실 기반의 도시계획 지원시스템을 구축하였고 현행 지구단위계획 내용 중 공간적인 성격이 강하여 증강현실기법의 적용이 가능한 부분들을 검토하였으며 성남 여수지구를 대상으로 지형현황분석, 용도지역 구분 및 기반시설 배치분석, 건축물 형태 및 배치분석, 건축물 용도 높이 건폐율 용적률 및 경관계획에 시범 적용함으로써 증강현실기법의 지구단위계획으로 적용 가능성을 모색하였다. 또한 지구단위계획 수립과정에서 증강현실기법 적용 효과를 기존 방법과 비교하는 방식으로 분석하여 증강현실기법 적용을 통한 지구단위계획 수립의 실효성 확보 가능성을 제시하였다.

  • As part of the housing policy on the concentration of large cities due to economic growth, large-scale construction was carried out for many years, but the focus of the quality improvement was largely on the quality supply. With criticism that such large-scale housing construction is distorting urban and rural landscape, it was forced from 2000 to apply the district unit plan to the development of housing sites with a certain scale and the district unit plan. In addition, it evaluated how the rural and urban landscape would look during the planning of the District Unit Plan, and how the resulting space would have an objective effect on urban and rural areas and how it would be evaluated for harmony. Therefore, this study applies and evaluates the weighted value of each inspection point selected by Lee lim jung (2016) to compare and analyze the actual application of the inspection point and the review report. As a result, it was assessed that no rational landscape planning was established because many simulation presentations were made at the lower priority point, and little was presented at the higher priority. The view point weights were distributed in the Landscape Review of the District Unit Plan with a score of up to 36 points from the lowest of 6 points, which resulted in the view simulation being reviewed in terms of various aspects.

Low Impact Urban Development For Climate Change and Natural Disaster Prevention

  • Increase of impervious areas due to expansion of housing area, commercial and business building of urban is resulting in property change of stormwater runoff. Also, rapid urbanization and heavy rain due to climate change lead to urban flood and debris flow damage. In 2010 and 2011, Seoul had experienced shocking flooding damages by heavy rain. All these have led to increased interest in applying LID and decentralized rainwater management as a means of urban hydrologic cycle restoration and Natural Disaster Prevention such as flooding and so on. Urban development is a cause of expansion of impervious area. It reduces infiltration of rain water and may increase runoff volume from storms. Low Impact Development (LID) methods is to mimic the predevelopment site hydrology by using site design techniques that store, infiltrate, evaporate, detain runoff, and reduction flooding. Use of these techniques helps to reduce off-site runoff and ensure adequate groundwater recharge. The contents of this paper include a hydrologic analysis on a site and an evaluation of flooding reduction effect of LID practice facilities planned on the site. The region of this Case study is LID Rainwater Management Demonstration District in A-new town and P-new town, Korea. LID Practice facilities were designed on the area of rainwater management demonstration district in new town. We performed analysis of reduction effect about flood discharge. SWMM5 has been developed as a model to analyze the hydrologic impacts of LID facilities. For this study, we used weather data for around 38 years from January 1973 to August 2014 collected from the new town City Observatory near the district. Using the weather data, we performed continuous simulation of urban runoff in order to analyze impacts on the Stream from the development of the district and the installation of LID facilities. This is a new approach to stormwater management system which is different from existing end-of-pipe type management system. We suggest that LID should be discussed as a efficient method of urban disasters and climate change control in future land use, sewer and stormwater management planning.

수복형 도시정비사업의 정비기반시설 적정 기부채납에 관한 연구 - 서울시 공평구역 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study of Appropriate Contributed Acceptance of Urban Infrastructure in Urban Renewal Project - Focused on the Gongpyung Renewal District -)

  • This research aims to find the issues and explore policy agenda of contributed acceptance of urban renewal project. Through the analysis of urban renewal project in Seoul, three isssues was found as follows. Firstly, the ratio of contributed acceptance in each district was quite different. Secondly, the donated land was scattered around whole project area. Thirdly, infrastructures are not constructed until all renewal projects were implemented. For this issues, this research proposed that a proper standard of the ratio of contributed acceptance is needed and land donation should be designated to adjacent lot or block. Also public support should be for developing urban capacity and completing infrastructure.

유치거리 분석을 통한 도시공원의 적정배치에 관한 연구 (Proper Arrangement of City Park though Analysis of Disposition Distance)

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis of disposition distance of city park for the plan of suitable arrangement of city park based on the date examining Daegu Metropolitan City. The results of this study are as follows. 1) The result of analysis of population density as the case of districts, it appeared highly in city center area which Seo-Gu district and Nam-Gu district besides Jung-Gu district. However, it apperared in a low Buk-Gu district, Dong-Gu district and Salseong-Gun. 2) The result of analysis of population density as the case of regions, it appeared very highly Joukjun-Dong of Dalseo-Gu district($31,554per/km^2$), Naedang-Dong of Seo-Gu district($29,922per/km^2$). However it appeared in a low Yeuga-Maen($85per/km^2$) and Gachang-Maen($94per/km^2$) of Dalseong-Gun. The regions where the population density is high have very low green space and live a lot of low income layer. 3) The result of analysis of disposition distance, in the case of children park, it appeared an intensive distribution in Dongcheon-Dong and Guam-Dong of Buk-Gu district, Whanggm-Dong and Dusan-Dong of Suseong-Gu district, Sangin-Dong and Yeongsan-Dong and Walsung-Dong of Dalseo-Gu district. however, it appeared in a low in Jung-Gu district. The case of urban park of the neighboring area, it appeared the most in Dalseo-Gu district except 2 parks in Jung-Gu district, the case of urban park of the walking area, it appeared in equality in city. 4) In conclusion, the area have high population density and lots of low income layer, is in out of disposition distance should be considered in first for city park plan.

  • This study is a case study of system improvement measures for urban regeneration of the historical and cultural environment. The example areas are Hwangnam and Inwang Hanok districts in Gyeongju City, which operate various systems to solve the urban decline problem caused by the historical and cultural environment regulations. The subjects of this study are resident support programs and district unit planning systems under the advanced promotion system established in the case area. As research methods, literature studies, field surveys, and in-depth interviews were conducted. Through this, the background and purpose of introduction of each system, major plan contents, and problems of the system application process were analyzed. This study drew the following implications through case studies. First, in order to more effectively promote the urban regeneration of the historical and cultural environment, it is necessary to improve the related systems in an integrated and systematic manner. Second, in order to resolve the policy distrust of local residents in the historical, cultural and environmental management system, a wider variety of planned alternatives to narrow the difference in interests between the public and private sectors should be presented.

일본 전통적 도시공간의 경관변용에 관한 연구 - 주차장소와 용도변경의 분석을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Transformation of Traditional Urban Space - Focused on Parking Space and Change of Building Use -)

  • Recently, the traditional urban space has been transformed gradually by the renovation due to increased acquisition of cars and change of building use. This study deals with the transformation of traditional urban space. This contents of this paper as follows. 1)Based on a questionnaire distributed to residents of the Hachiman preservation district, it analyzes actual condition of the possession of cars and its parking spaces. And it shows how traditional houses have been repaired and reconstructed due to the increased acquisition of cars and as a result how the townscape has been transformed. 2) Based on field survey in 1999 and detail map from 1977 to 1999 in Sanneizaka preservation district, it analyzed the change in building use since 1976(when this area was designated as preservation district). It was discovered that the renovation for the building use has been a considered influence on the transformation of the townscape.
