Study of Air Quality and Land Use Correlation using GIS (GIS의한 대기오염과 토지이용상태와의 상관성분석에 관한 연구)

  • This study analyzes interrelationship with air pollution quality and land use patterns using GIS. The relationship can be obtained via three steps: (1) making out air pollution map from air pollution information of study area, (2) dividing land use patterns into residential area, commercial area, industrial area, traffic concentrated area, and non-polluted area, and (3) spatial overlaying analysis of GIS. Moreover, through analyzing air pollution quality by land use patterns, pollution sources can be identified. The results also coincide with the characteristics of conventional air pollution finding. More detailed analyses using articulated on site air pollution quality measurement databases are needed to correctly identify the pollution sources through finding interrelationship with land use patterns and air pollution Quality using GIS. The developed method can help trace the path of pollution sources and plan urban land use projects.

  • [ $\ulcorner$ ]국토의 계획 및 이용에 관한 법률$\lrcorner$ 개정은 국토 개발에 있어서 '선 계획 후 개발'이라는 원칙하에 국토 및 도시를 삶의 질 향상, 도시공간의 효율적 개발, 관리, 보전하는데 환경친화적으로 관리하고자 하였다. 선 계획 후 개발이라는 기조 하에 도시공간의 사회적, 지형적, 지리적, 문화적 등 다양한 측면으로 검토 및 분석을 통해 보전과 개발의 적합한 토지를 분류하는 방안이 필수적일 것이며, 이에 대한 의사결정을 함에 있어서 과학적 효율적인 분석방법이 필요하다. 본 연구는 증평군을 대상으로 충남 연기군의 행정중심복합도시의 입지, 진천 음성군의 혁신도시 선정, 증평지방산업단지조성 등 도시 내 외의 여건변화 및 도시의 확장, 주변 도시인구의 지속적 증가 등으로 인한 도시공간구조 재검토를 위하여 GSIS 기법을 이용하여 공간분석을 수행하여 도시개발 적지분석을 수행하였다.

  • Long time ago, Korea region based on the agriculture society has been changed in terms of a variety of factors, differently a metropolis. Specially the region located nearby urban area generates a number of variations by the environmental, economic and social factors, these variations have appeared with the similar characteristics in other areas. On that score, if we classify variation factors by means of analyzing quantitative or assign the standards or weights to apply as a agent concept, will anticipate mote accurate information of the land-use ratio, squares related of agriculture region in the future. In this study, we estimated applicable possibilities and extract the variation factor between annual surveying images and real values which estimated local products, variation factors related of attributes through Landsat images of Korea for the 5 years.

  • Recently, production and application of ortho image using high resolution image are increasing by acquired high quality data from development of photogrammetry and IT technology. Generally, An ortho image has some problems that cannot remove completely to relief displacement about cultural feature like building and overpass because of performance rectification using DEM. Therefore, in this study, I generated DSM each of four experiment cases for production of true ortho image which is removed relief displacement of building using digital photogrammetry technique and LiDAR data, presented the plan of DSM production that is appropriate to production true ortho image by analyzing an accuracy after manufacture an ortho image each of DSM.

  • Rule set is an important step which impacts significantly on accuracy of object-oriented classification result. Therefore, this paper proposes a rule set to extract land cover from Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) imagery acquired in Donganh, Hanoi, Vietnam. The rules were generated to distinguish five classes, namely river, pond, residential areas, vegetation and paddy. These classes were classified not only based on spectral characteristics of features, but also indices of water, soil, vegetation, and urban. The study selected five indices, including largest difference index max.diff; length/width; hue, saturation and intensity (HSI); normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and ratio vegetation index (RVI) based on membership functions of objects. Overall accuracy of classification result is 0.84% as the rule set is used in classification process.

Downscaling of MODIS Land Surface Temperature to LANDSAT Scale Using Multi-layer Perceptron

  • Land surface temperature is essential for monitoring abnormal climate phenomena such as UHI (Urban Heat Islands), and for modeling weather patterns. However, the quality of surface temperature obtained from the optical space imagery is affected by many factors such as, revisit period of the satellite, instance of capture, spatial resolution, and cloud coverage. Landsat 8 imagery, often used to obtain surface temperatures, has a high resolution of 30 meters (100 meters rearranged to 30 meters) and a revisit frequency of 16 days. On the contrary, MODIS imagery can be acquired daily with a spatial resolution of about 1 kilometer. Many past attempts have been made using both Landsat and MODIS imagery to complement each other to produce an imagery of improved temporal and spatial resolution. This paper applied machine learning methods and performed downscaling which can obtain daily based land surface temperature imagery of 30 meters.

Crime Mapping Based on Experts' and Residents' Assessments of Neighborhood Environment

  • This study examines the limitations of existing crime mapping that relies mainly on reported crime data, suggests a crime mapping method based on experts' and users' assessments of a neighborhood environment as an alternative approach, and conducts a case study on a real-world site by applying the suggested approach. According to the results of the case analysis, while the areas adjoining arterial roads with heavy pedestrian traffic were shown as high crime risk areas in the crime map based on actual reported crime data, the areas adjoining local roads with low pedestrian traffic were high-risk areas in the crime risk area map based on experts' and residents' evaluations. This study makes a contribution to the field in that it demonstrates the detailed application process of crime risk area mapping according experts' and residents' evaluations, compares the results with those of an existing crime map, and finally shows that the former can function as a complement to the latter.

  • We need the acquisition of accurate geographic information as well as immediate updates of information on the city in order to plan and manage the changes of the cities more systematically. The geographic information for judging the changes of the cities can be used not only in various policies and studies, but also as important data themselves that record the growth of cities. In this paper ore could build the GIS database with attribute data about the classification accuracy and the class and by providing the land cover map by each classification method according to the accuracy that the user requires, we could provide more reliable and various information.

Constructing 3D Models and Virtual Reality Contents of CheongGyeCheon (청계천의 3차원모델 및 가상현실컨텐츠 제작)

  • With the development of Geospatial Technology (GT), many countries and industries have been expanding their investment in constructing a cyber territory. As the critical components of this cyber territory, three-dimensional models and virtual reality contents based on these models of urban areas in particular have been considered. These models and contents can be intensively used for a city to decide the policies efficiently and to attract the interests of peoples while planning and performing large projects. In this study, we have thus constructed the 3D models and virtual reality contents of the large areas along the CheongGye stream to visualize the environment of these areas before and after the CheongGyeCheon restoration project being completed. Furthermore, we propose efficient methods to construct and visualize these large models, such as tile mapping and multiple LOD application.

  • 도시계획정보는 토지의 사회경제적 이용 가능한 잠재성을 보여주는 반면에 지적정보는 주로 법적 측면에서 토지정보를 다루고 있다. 지적정보시스템은 지적분야의 고유한 데이터뿐만 아니라 많은 다양한 정보를 다른 정보시스템으로부터 제공받아 이를 이용, 고부가가치의 정보를 생산하거나 의사(정책)결정을 지원하는 다목적시스템으로 진화를 시도하고 있다. 이런 점에서 지적정보와 도시계획정보의 교환의 필요성이 높아지고 있지만 두 정보분야의 이질적 요소를 제거하지 않고는 정보공유가 불가능하다. 도시계획과 지적분야의 정보공유를 연구의 중심으로 하여 특히 지적분야의 구성요소를 토지계획분야에서 원하는 정보로 변환, 사용하는 점에 역점을 두었다.
