  • Recently, a new cellular metal, WBK(Wire woven Bulk Kagome) has been introduced. WBK is fabricated by assembling metal wires in six directions into a Kagome-like truss structure and by brazing it at all the crossings. Wires as the raw material are easy to handle and to attain high strength with minimum defect. And the strength and energy absorption are superior to previous cellular metals. Therefore, WBK seems to be promising once the fabrication process for mass production is developed. In this paper, an upper bound solution for the mechanical properties of the bulk WBK under compression is presented. In order to simulate uniform behavior of WBK consisted of perfectly uniform cells, a unit cell of WBK with periodic boundary conditions is analyzed by the finite element method. In comparison with experimental test results, it is found that the solution provides a good approximation of the mechanical properties of bulk WBK cellular metals except for Young's modulus. And also, the brazing joint size does not have any significant effect on the properties with an exception of an idealized thin joint.

An Upper Bound of the Longest Impossible Differentials of Several Block Ciphers

  • Impossible differential cryptanalysis is an essential cryptanalytic technique and its key point is whether there is an impossible differential path. The main factor of influencing impossible differential cryptanalysis is the length of the rounds of the impossible differential trail because the attack will be more close to the real encryption algorithm with the number becoming longer. We provide the upper bound of the longest impossible differential trails of several important block ciphers. We first analyse the national standard of the Russian Federation in 2015, Kuznyechik, which utilizes the 16-byte LFSR to achieve the linear transformation. We conclude that there is no any 3-round impossible differential trail of the Kuznyechik without the consideration of the specific S-boxes. Then we ascertain the longest impossible differential paths of several other important block ciphers by using the matrix method which can be extended to many other block ciphers. As a result, we show that, unless considering the details of the S-boxes, there is no any more than or equal to 5-round, 7-round and 9-round impossible differential paths for KLEIN, Midori64 and MIBS respectively.

  • Association rule mining searches for interesting relationships among items in a given database. Association rules are frequently used by retail stores to assist in marketing, advertising, floor placement, and inventory control. There are three primary quality measures for association rule, support and confidence and lift. If there is many item in the association rule, much time is required. Xiong(2004) studies new method which is to compute the support of upper. They used support of upper to the $^{\theta}$. But $^{\theta}$ is subjective. In this paper, we present statistical objective criterion for efficiently identifying correlated pairs.

  • Differential inequalities occurring in problems of obstacle contact problems are recast into variational inequalities and analyzed by finite element methods. A new a posteriori error estimator, which is essential in adaptive finite element method, is introduced to capture the errors in finite element approximations of these variational inequalities. In order to construct a posteriori error estimates, saddle point problems are introduced using Lagrange parameters and upper bounds are provided. The global upper bound is localized by a special mixed formulation, which leads to upper bounds of the element errors. A numerical experiment is performed on an obstacle contact problem to check the effectivity index both in a local and a global sense.

선형행렬부등식을 이용한 시간지연 특이시스템의 보장비용 제어기 설계방법 (Guaranteed Cost Controller Design Method for Singular Systems with Time Delays using LMI)

  • 본 논문에서는 시변 시간지연을 가지는 특이시스템에 대한 보장비용 상태제환 제어기 설계방법을 제시한다. 보장비용 제어기가 존재할 충분조건과 보장비용 제어기 설계방법 및 보장비용 함수의 상한치를 구하는 최적화 문제를 선형행렬부등식, 특이치 분해(singular value decomposition), 슈어 여수(Schur complements) 정리, 변수 치환 등에 의하여 제시한다. 구한 충분조건은 선형행렬부등식의 형태로 되기 때문에 보장비용 제어기의 이득과 보장비용 함수의 상한치를 포함하는 충분조건의 모든 해를 동시에 구할 수 있다, 또한, 제안한 알고리듬을 이용하면 변수 불확실성과 시변 시간지연을 동시에 가지는 특이시스템에 대한 강인 보장비용 제어기 설계문제에도 쉽게 확장됨을 보인다. 마지막으로, 제안한 알고리듬의 타당성을 수치예제를 통하여 확인한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 퍼지추론과 신경망 학습을 이용하여 무선망의 핸드오프호 손실율 가능성 분포의 상한계 값을 추정하고, 이를 기반으로 한 호 수락제어를 제안한다. 퍼지규칙의 소속함수는 신경망 오류역전파 알고리즘으로 튜닝하고, 핸드오프호 손실율의 상한계 값은 퍼지집합의 가중치 평균에 기초하여 추정한다. 이 방법은 호 손실율 값을 실제보다 과도하게 큰 값으로 추정하는 것을 방지하고, 추정된 값이 실제값보다 작을 때는 실시간적으로 자기보상을 실시하여 호 수락 제어시 호 손실율을 줄인다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안한 방법에 의한 핸드오프 호 손실율의 상한계 값의 추정성능을 보이고, 이를 이용한 호 수락제어 방법이 핸드오프 호 손실율을 사용자가 원하는 핸드오프 호 손실율 이하로 유지할 수 있음을 보인다.

Hot - wall epitaxy 방법으로 성장한 ZnSe 박막의 열처리 효과 (Annealing effects of ZnSe epilayer grown by hot-well epiraxy method)

  • 우리는 hot-well epiraxy 방법으로 성장된 ZnSe 박막의 광발광 측정을 10 K에서 실행하였다. as-grown 박막은 upper polartion과 lower polarition으로 분리된 중성 도너(donor) bound exciton $I_2$($D^{\circ}$,X)가 아주 우세하게 관측되었고 Se분위기 열처리 결과 $I_2$기원이 Se-vacancy에 관련이 있음을 알았다. 또 중성 억셉터(acceptor) bound exciton $I_1$$^d$발광이 관측되었다. 그런데 ZnSe는 self-compensated에 의해 p-type 반전이 어렵다. 우리는 Se 분위기 열처리로부터 $I_1$$^d$ 봉우리가 아주 우세함을 보였다. 이것은 열처리한 ZnSe 박막에 억셉터가 풍부하게 존재한다는 것을 의미하며 결과적으로 광학적인 p-type 반전을 분명하게 관측 할 수 있었다. 또한 엑셉터 불순물의 결합 에너지는 268meV이였다. 장파장대에서 SA 발광은 Se 분위기 열처리 후 사라진 것으로 보아 Se-vacancy와 관련이 있는 것으로 고찰되었다.

EXCIPLEX법에 의한 디젤분무의 구조와 분사계 개선에 관한 연구 (A study on the structure of a diesel spray and the Improvement of the Injection System by the Exciplex Method)

  • The goals of this study are to apply exciplex method to the visualization of the fuel spray of a diesel engine and to investigate the liquid phase of fuel spray that injected at the various tips of a fuel injector. This study provides the informations for the improvement of the diesel injection system and the structures of diesel spry with the boiling of fuel droplets in combustion chamber by the exciplex method. Hexame was used as fuel for approximation to injection condition of the engine. And naphthalene and TMDP were added to the fuel for the visualization by exciplex method. Experimental injectors were 4hole, 8hole, and 1hole impinging injectors. In the injection condition of actual engine the exciplex was sufficient to catch the liquid phase signal. The spray penetration of impinging injector was small than that of actual 4 and 8hole injector but atomization was better. The upper bound of impinging injector was determined by the geometry of a cylinder head and the lower bound was determined by spray angle. On impinging injector the atomization was better at the edge of disk than at center of disk and also the mixing with environmental gas was better.

  • We propose robust control scheme for flexible joint manipulator in the presence of nonlinearity and mismatched uncertainty. The control is designed based on Lyapunov approach. The robust control which is based on the computed torque scheme and state transformation via implanted control is introduced. The design procedure starts with the construction of linearized subsystems via the computed torque method and then uses state transformation. With this approach we do not impose an upper-bound constraint on the inertia matrix in case it is known. Thus, this control can be applied to arbitrary manipulators. The resulting robust control guarantees practical stability for both the transformed system and the original system. The transformation is only based on the possible bound of uncertainty.
