The purpose of this study was to develop a data base system for the information on science education research and development. As a part of this study, a data base program was developed on the Macintosh SE using the 4th Dimension from ACI. The data base consisted of two files, dissertation and journal. The information on the 107 theses including the master's theses and the doctoral dissertations from the Department of Scince Education, Seoul National University and on the 640 papers on science education from the first issues to the 1991 issues of five selected science education journals was input into the data base. The selected five Journals were Journal of the Korean Association for Research in Science Education(published by the Korean Association for Research in Science Education, 148 papers), Teaching Physics(published by Korean Physical Society, 164 papers),Chemical Education(published by The Korean Chemical Society, 98 papers), The Korean Journal of Biological Education(published by The Korean Society of Biological Education, 148 papers), and Journal of Science Education(published by Science Education Center, College of Education, Seoul National University,82 papers).

The purpose of this study is to find out the answer to the Question as "What is the meaning of the Science Education?". Semantic analyses were done according to each situations and contexts in science, education and science education. The following result was drawn: It is concluded that science education is the practtical behavior for the human as the purpose, through the science and education as the means and methods.

초등학교에서 소프트웨어 교육이 필수화되고 인공지능 교육의 중요성이 강조됨에 따라 소프트웨어 사교육 시장이 성장하고 있지만, 이에 대한 조사와 연구가 부족한 상황이다. 공교육에서 제공하는 소프트웨어 교육 이외에 추가적으로 소프트웨어 사교육을 학부모가 참여하는 동기와 인식에 대한 기초적인 조사와 분석이 필요하다. 본 연구는 소프트웨어 사교육에 참여하고 있는 초등학교 자녀를 두고 있는 학부모를 대상으로 소프트웨어 사교육에 참여하게 된 동기와 필요성, 소프트웨어 교육에 대한 인식을 설문하였다. 연구결과, 소프트웨어 사교육에 참여하는 가장 큰 동기는 초등학교에서 소프트웨어 교육을 제공하는 시간과 환경이 부족하기 때문으로 나타났고, 소프트웨어 사교육의 필요성에 대해 소프트웨어 교육을 위한 별도의 정식과목에 대한 요구가 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

In Korea, many local university mathematics faculty knew that the institution faced serious student shortage problems and the restructuring and cut actions for such a mathematics major programs. In general, undergraduate mathematics education in korea is in the crisis. In general, lots of mathematics departments in korea was not prepared for such a severe risk. In this article, university mathematics education and research business are studied in the context of the size of korea-usa population, economy(such as GDP), SCI indices. Korea-usa university mathematics education profile data are presented to compare korea-usa university mathematics education business. Lots of precious data on mathematics education are being helped to prepare for the university mathematics education crisis.

Purposes： This review is designed to assess the current status of health education in Korea, to identify problems within the curriculum, and to suggest ways to improve health education in Korea. Results： Korean schools currently lack a regular standardized health education curriculum. Subjects related to health education are presently taught in other disciplines, such as physical education, home management, biology, and other related subjects. The Korean health education curriculum suffers from many significant problems, including a lack of educational goals for health education, absence of designated time for health education, a lack of continuity between contents, knowledge-oriented health education, and an overall disconnect with the needs of the students. Other problems include an exclusion of health education experts in the development of the curriculum, no designated times for health education within the regular curriculum, and a lack of health teachers in schools. Conclusion： To improve health education in schools, standard health education curriculum should be developed. Health education curriculum needs to be sequential, comprehensive, and skill-based. Health education needsto be a essential subject, health teachers need to be trained, and provided with technical support.

The Purpose of this study was to develop a data base system for the information on science education research and development. 현재 정보통신기술은 나날이 발전하여 우리의 생활과 교육현장에 혁신적인 변화를 불러일으키고 있으나 2007 교육과정 개정이후 학교 컴퓨터교육은 점점 위축되어 가고 있다. 이런 상황에서 교육대학 교육과정개편은 학교 컴퓨터 교육과정에 영향을 받을 수 있을 것이다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 교육대학 컴퓨터관련 교육과정의 방향을 모색하고자 전국교육대학 컴퓨터교육과정 현황을 조사 및 분석하고 교사, 학생, 교수의 설문결과를 바탕으로 교육대학 컴퓨터관련 교육과정 개선안을 제안하였다. 본 논문의 결과가 교육대학 컴퓨터관련 교육과정 개정작업에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

The National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education plays a crucial role in education in Ukraine, as an independent entity creates and ensures quality standards of higher education, which allow to properly implement the educational policy of the state, develop the economy and society as a whole. The purpose of the article: to reveal the crucial role of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education to create quality management of higher education institutions, to show its mechanism as an independent entity that creates and ensures quality standards of higher education. and society as a whole. The mission of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education is to become a catalyst for positive changes in higher education and the formation of a culture of its quality. The strategic goals of the National Agency are implemented in three main areas: the quality of educational services, recognition of the quality of scientific results, ensuring the systemic impact of the National Agency. The National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education exercises various powers, which can be divided into: regulatory, analytical, accreditation, control, communication. The effectiveness of the work of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education for 2020 has been proved. The results of a survey conducted by 183 higher education institutions of Ukraine conducted by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education are shown. Emphasis was placed on the development of "Recommendations of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education regarding the introduction of an internal quality assurance system." The international activity and international recognition of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education are shown.

The Asian Conference on Engineering Education has organized and is held in Busan. This paper tells the steps for the process of planning of this conference. Firstly, the Innovation Center for Engineering Education in Korea Maritime University and the Center for Innovation and Creativity Development in The University of Tokushima signed the mutual interchange agreement on engineering education in 2005. The interrelation of both centers has made a continuous relation by mutual visiting of teachers and students. The first symposium on engineering education between the two universities was held in 2006. Three symposia were succeeded until now. By the way, the Japanese five-university coalition of engineering education was composed in 2004. This five-university coalition annually held the symposium on engineering education. Two teachers and two students of each university participated in the symposium and introduced their activities. Annual symposium was held every year from 2004 to 2008. Based on these two kinds of symposium, we have planned to enlarge the relationship by including partner universities in both countries. The capstone design coalition on engineering education between the Center for Innovation and Creativity Development in the University of Tokushima and the innovation center for engineering education in Korea Maritime University are introduced. The interrelation of both centers has held by mutual visiting of teachers and students during four years. The capstone design activities of Korea Maritime University and the students' creative design projects of the University of Tokushima were introduced each other. This coalition is planned that it needs to be enlarged by including partner universities in Asian countries.

본 연구에서는 R&E 프로그램에 참여한 270명의 학생을 대상으로 R&E의 목적, 주제 선정 과정, R&E의 장단점에 관하여 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 4명의 학생을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 실시하였다. R&E의 목적과 장점에 대하여 학생들은 '예비 과학자로의 자질 함양, '연구 기회 제공', 탐구 수행 능력 신장'으로 인식하였으며, 단점으로는 '연구에 소비된 시간', '타율적 참여', '연구 내용의 어려움' 등을 언급하였다. R&E 프로그램은 정해진 주제 제시된 실험과정 문제 발생 시 전문가의 도움으로 진행되는 기술적 도제과정이 대부분이었으며, 창의적 문제해결능력 신장보다는 새로운 실험 장비나 첨단 기술을 접하는 기회 제공 차원이 큰 것으로 나타났다. R&E 프로그램에서 멘토의 역할이 중요하며, 멘토의 역할은 학생들의 생산적 참여 정도와 과학 및 과학자의 인식에 큰 영향을 주었다.
