실습조사선의 종합정보통신망시스템 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design and Implementation of Integrated Marine Data Networking and Communication System for Training-Research Ship)

  • A small, highly-trained crew working on the ship's automation has contributed to the improvement of operations and the labor environment on board ship. However, at the same time, having a small crew adds more responsibility to the ship's officers to safely operate and manage the ship. With the use of information and computer technology, efforts are being made towards the development of a system that will concentrate important information from the various pieces of navigational equipment. The purpose of this study is to set up and implement an integrated marine data networking and communication system on the training-research ship. Information relating to navigation, engine and office automation are investigated and analyzed, and implementation methods associated with navigation, engine and management information system were designed and presented. In addition, the networking system of the navigational signal interface unit for the integrated communication system, and the data communication method between the ship and land are also discussed.

  • 본 연구는 한국건설기술연구원(KICT)에서 제시한 토목공사용 정보분류체계(Information Classification System)를 기반으로 지하철공사의 정보분류체계를 제시하였다. 그리고 이 기준을 근거로 NAS(Network Analysis System) 운영체계인 공사정보분류체계 - 공정도표 - 작업별 투입 자원을 연동하는 데이터 모델링을 구축하여 통합 모형을 제시하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제시한 데이터 모델링의 통합모형은 다른 토목시설물공사에서도 동일한 절차와 방법으로 적용할 수 있어, NAS를 기반으로 한 공정관리 과학화를 유도할 수 있을 것으로 확신한다.

  • In this paper, We assume that strengths of two components system follow a bivariate pareto distribution. And these two components are subjected to a common stress which is independent of the strength of the components. We obtain maximum likelihood estimator(MLE) for the system reliability from stress-strength relationship. Also we derive asymptotic properties of the MLE and present a numerical study.

  • In this paper, we propose a robust music retrieval system based on the content analysis of music. New feature extraction method called Multi-Feature Clustering (MFC) is proposed for the robust and optimum performance of the music retrieval system. It is demonstrated that the use of MFC significantly improves the system stability of music retrieval with better classification accuracy.

  • It is well known that internet shoppers are very sensitive to sale prices. They visit the various shopping malls and collect the product information including purchase conditions for goods purchase decision-making. Recently the necessity of information support is increasing because of increase of information amount which is necessary and complexity of goods purchase decision-making process. The comparison shopping agent systems have provided price comparison information which is collected from various shopping malls to satisfy internet shoppers information craving. But the frequent price change caused by keen price competition is becoming the primary reason of information quality decline among price comparison sites. RSS which is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated is applied even in on-line shopping malls. This paper develops a RSS product information collection system to get real-time product information. The proposed product information system consists of (1) web crawler module for searching RSS feed shopping malls automatically, (2) RSS reader module for parsing product information from RSS feed file, (3) product DB and (4) product searching module. Performance of the proposed system is higher than the comparison shopping agent systems when it is defined with the volume of collecting product information per unit time.

  • This paper describes the development of an INS (Inertial Navigation System) integrated positioning system, which can monitor and track the firefighter's position for assisting effective fire-fighting activity and rescue services. The INS consists of highly accurate three-axis gyro sensor and three-axis accelerometer. By integrating an INS to positioning system, it is also possible to obtain the information of firefighter's physical state (e.g. standing, collapse and crouch) of posture including velocity. Consequently, this research would obviously make a contribution to effective rescue activities and safety of firefighters. Besides, this paper presents results from field tests conducted at Tokyo University demonstrating its viability and utility. We also summarize the overall system requirements and architecture, and describe the hardware and software used in the prototype system in detail.

  • 본 연구에서는 정확한 운동량 측정을 위하여 가속도 센서, MCU, 그리고 블루투스를 이용하여 운동량 측정 시스템을 모듈화하여 실시간 무선으로 이동거리 정보를 알아내는 간편한 운동량 측정 시스템을 제작하여 모의실험 및 분석하였다. 그 결과를 기성품과 신뢰성 및 정확도를 비교해 보았다. 결과를 토대로 소형 및 운동화 실장이 가능한 운동량 측정시스템을 제작하고자 하였다.

  • Though many have studied choosing one of the alternative ways to reach a destination, the factors such as average road speed, distance, and number of traffic signals, traffic congestion, safety, and services still presents an indisputable challenge. This paper proposes two approaches: Appropriate membership function and ambiguous rule-based approach. It aims to tackle the route choice problem faced by almost all drivers in any city. It indirectly helps in tackling the problem of traffic congestion. The proposed approach considers the preference of each driver which is determined in a flexible way like a human and stored in the driver profile. These preferences relate to the criteria for evaluating each candidate route, considering the average speed, distance, safety, and services available. An illustrative case study demonstrates the added value of the proposed approach compared to some other approaches.
