  • According to disclosure regulation, insider can hide their trading until disclosure day, because there be interval between trading time and disclosure time. To accommodate strategic trade, they have an incentive to be brought disclosure interval as long as possible. This research investigate whether strategical behaviour of informed traders using disclosure intervals exists in domestic stock market.ls xt, we aney he whether they can get abnormal return through stealth strategy after announcement date. We also evaluate the effect of mimicking trading on price impact with the assumption of existence of mimicking trading. Our major research results are as follows: In case of main shareholder without having no prompt disclosure duty, the frequency of trading started at the beginning of month is shown significantly higher than others. This result shows a direct evidence that informed traders buy or sell their equity strategically using disclosure intervals. Also, we find the result that the coefficient of strategic variables has highest value in middle size information. However, the empirical evidence that informed trader get abnormal return through strategic trading was not shown in this study. Meanwhile, stock price over-reacts for selling transaction on trading point and is recovered after disclosure date., so we assume possibility of mimicking trading exists in domestic stock market.

  • The Freedom of Information System has been introduced into the society based on the Fair Trade Transactions Act, which was established by Fair Trade Commission (FTC) on May, 2002. However, the system itself has showed limitations in guaranteeing a reliability and transparency of the disclosure document. Thus, since February, 2008, FTC not only made franchisors to register disclosure documents but also adopted the Disclosure Document Registration System, which forced them to provide registered disclosure documents to franchise applicants and franchisee. Franchisors consider the newly adopted Disclosure Document Registration System a restrictive system. However, considering the recent trend of fast growing franchising industry and the importance of being competitive, franchisors need to utilize the disclosure documents to promote their business and to gain trusts from franchise applicants by providing truthful information. In that way, franchisors will be able to establish a foundation that franchising industry might be successful and reduce the agency fee by cutting out conflicts with franchisees. Thus, this study aims to study the ways of effective preparation of disclosure document and its utilization from a franchisor viewpoint.

  • This study has attempted to provide an important understanding about the information asymmetry in markets through empirical analysis on how the disclosure of low quality can increase demand even in the short run. More specifically, this study has extended the previous findings from the related literature by considering the effect of information search cost and providing empirical evidences about the effect of voluntary disclosure of low quality, using an experimental method with purchase scenarios. The results from our analysis show that reduced perceived risk have an important effect on sharing negative information, while the effect of information search cost is minimal. We also explain the circumstances whereby the information disclosure of a seller with low-quality product can enhance not only the seller's profitability but also customers' welfare by increasing the market demand and the demand for the seller claiming high quality.

  • As the risk of privacy invasion due to self-disclosure increases in SNS environment, many studies have tried to discover the influencing factors of self-disclosure. This study is an extension of this research stream and pays attention to the role of interaction privacy controls(friend list and privacy settings) as a new influencing factor. Specifically, the study theorizes and test the logic that the ability to effectively control interactions between individuals using IPC(called IPC usefulness) satisfies the three psychological needs(autonomy, relationship, and competency needs) suggested by the Self-Determination Theory, and in turn increase the amount of self-disclosure. As a result of data analysis, it was found that IPC usefulness has a very strong influence on the satisfaction of psychological needs and is a major factor in increasing the degree of self-disclosure by users. Based on these findings, the study discusses the theoretical and practical implications as well as future research directions.

  • The healthcare and fitness wearable-device market is considered as the driving force of the entire wearable device market. However, there are concerns with respect to information privacy because wearable devices constantly collect sensitive data such as individuals' health information. Thus, there is a need for a comprehensive understanding from the perspective of information privacy concerns and related behavior. This study investigates factors considered in the privacy calculus of wearable fitness devices, and verifies differences obtained by the privacy calculus process according to the frequency of exercise. The results obtained from a survey of 248 undergraduate students in Korea revealed that service providers should consider users' interests and exercise characteristics in order to mitigate their privacy concerns and encourage continuous use of wearable devices. This study provides useful insights pertaining to users of wearable fitness devices, and targets researchers and practitioners.

  • This study examines whether, when, and how sellers with low-quality products can instantly enhance profitability by fully disclosing quality information. Our analytic model has found that a low-quality seller can increase demand even in the short run by voluntarily sharing the information about its quality, if he can sufficiently reduce perceived risk of buyers. Moreover, a low-quality seller's information disclosure may increase both the market's and the competitor's demand, depending on the level of perceived risk. The finding of this study is expected to provide meaningful implications to managers and policy makers on solving market dilemmas under information asymmetry.

  • This study aims to examine the effect of environmental performance, independent board of commissioners, and firm size on environmental disclosure measured by the Indonesian environmental index. The population in this study is manufacturing and coal mining companies that follow "PROPER" and are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2019. This research was conducted by reviewing annual reports to collect information on environmental disclosures. The sampling used in this study was purposive sampling technique and obtained a sample of 117. Also, the data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis with statistical hypothesis testing. The results showed that environmental performance and firm size had a positive effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, the independent board of commissioners does not affect financial performance. Furthermore, environmental performance, firm size, and financial performance have a positive effect on environmental disclosure. While the independent board of commissioners does not affect environmental disclosure. The findings of this research suggest that environmental performance has a significant positive effect on financial performance. The hypothesis is accepted, meaning that companies that are sensitive to environmental problems and run eco-efficiency operations will strengthen the company's profitability.

The data were collected conveniently by self reporting questionnaires given to the students from september 13 to october 23, 1999. The instruments used JSDQ and Self-esteem scale. The data were analyzed by $SAS/PC^+$ program using descriptive statistics, $x^2-test$, t-test, pearson correlation coefficient. The results of this study are as follows : 1. There was significant difference in religion(p=.001), motive of entrance of college( p=.001) and satisfaction of nursing practice(p=.038) between baccalaureate degree nursing students and associate degree. 2. The extent of self-disclosure in baccalaureate degree nursing students had significantly higher than that in associate degree nursing students(p=.0022). 3. An object for self-disclosure were girlfriend, mother, boyfriend and father successively. 4. The extent of self-esteem in baccalaureate degree nursing students had significantly higher than that in associate degree(p=.0224). 5. • Privacy preserving microdata publication has received wide attention. In this paper, we investigate the randomization approach and focus on attribute disclosure under linking attacks. We give efficient solutions to determine optimal distortion parameters, such that we can maximize utility preservation while still satisfying privacy requirements. We compare our randomization approach with l-diversity and anatomy in terms of utility preservation (under the same privacy requirements) from three aspects (reconstructed distributions, accuracy of answering queries, and preservation of correlations). Our empirical results show that randomization incurs significantly smaller utility loss.
