IEC61850 프로세서 버스 기반 분산형 전력품질감시 (IEC61850 Process Bus Based Distributed Power Quality Monitoring)

  • In this paper, authors deal with an application of power quality monitoring using the Sampled Value which is described in the IEC61850 International Standard for substation communication. Firstly, while Merging Unit is designed as a process level device transmitting sensor data, the practical problems such as time delay compensation and optical fiber communication are issued. Secondly, the Sampled Value message which is proper to a power quality monitoring system is presented. Because the power quality monitoring system requests non time critical service comparing to protection and control applications, the Sampled Value service message structure is introduced to improve efficiency. At last, the power quality monitoring server having various power quality analysis functions is suggested to verify the performance of Merging Unit. With the diverse experiments, it is proved that the process bus distributed solution is flexible and economic for the power quality monitoring.

모듈러 주거시설의 단위유닛 제작품질 확보를 위한 공장제작도서 개선 연구 (Improvement of Manufacturing Drawings for Manufacturing Quality Assurance of Modular Housing Unit)

  • In modular architecture, manufacturing drawing which includes whole information for modular unit production is essential since works for modular unit have to be performed in manufacturing factory not construction field. Although the manufacturing drawing is important as known it is insufficient to utilize the manufacturing drawing in modular architecture project and this makes modular unit low-quality with re-work and work time delay. To prevent low-quality modular unit caused by insufficient manufacturing drawing, in this research firstly manufacturing drawing's current situation and error cases in manufacturing phase of past modular housing project were analyzed, and correlation between reduction of errors occurance frequency and improving manufacturing drawing was verified. Secondly manufacturing drawing improvement factors were deducted in interior, furniture, mechanical work phase which errors' occurance rate is high and the way of deducting manufacturing drawing lists and contents were suggested with light-weight work as an example in case of new type of errors occurance. A series of research process can contribute to good-quality modular unit by errors reduction. As a result of research, about half of errors occurance can be reduced with suggested manufacturing drawing improvement factors. And the manufacturing drawing process can contribute to modular production which have uniform quality.

고속 생산형 필름 진동판 성형기 및 금형 국산화 개발(II) - 다량 생산 진동판 성형기 - (Domestic Development of Vibrational Film Forming Machine and Die in the High Speed Production(II) - Multi-production forming machine -)

  • This study consists of two parts. The first discusses the development of a single production forming machine which was reported in earlier papers. The second outlines the development of a multi-production forming machine, which consists primarily of a film feeding unit, an unwinding unit, and a heating block unit. The heating block unit of the multi-production forming machine has 30 members per die. An analysis of the stress deformation and temperature deviation of this machine is carried out using ANSYS Workbench and CFX-11 under the design conditions. According to this analysis, the maximum deflection in the Z-direction is $0.05104{\mu}m$ and the maximum temperature deviation is $0.7^{\circ}C$ when the temperature of the heating block unit is $175^{\circ}C$. It was also found that these values are structurally safe. The advantage of the developed multi-production forming machine is demonstrated to be in its offering of a proper voice test.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a teaching strategy focused on problem solving process and explore its effects on science creative problem solving ability, science process skills, science academic achievements and scientific attitudes of students after applying it. Teaching strategy focused on problem solving process employed brainstorming and PMI thinking strategies. The participants were the third grade students of both an experimental class(26 students) and a comparative class(25 students) at the S elementary school located in Goyang-City, Kyonggi Province. The developed strategy was applied to the experimental class for 9 periods of 'Separation of mixture' unit. The results of the tests on the science creative problem solving ability, the science process skills, scientific achievement and scientific attitude were statistically higher in the experimental class.

Robust Unit Root Tests with an Innovation Variance Break

  • A structural break in the level as well as in the innovation variance has often been exhibited in economic time series. In this paper we propose robust unit root tests based on a sign-type test statistic when a time series has a shift in its level and the corresponding volatility. The proposed tests are robust to a wide class of partially stationary processes with heavy-tailed errors, and have an exact binomial null distribution. Our tests are not affected by the size or location of the break. We set the structural break under the null and the alternative hypotheses to relieve a possible vagueness in interpreting test results in empirical work. The null hypothesis implies a unit root process with level shifts and the alternative connotes a stationary process with level shifts. The Monte Carlo simulation shows that our tests have stable size than the OLSE based tests.

  • Recently the number of lectures of offered as part of distance education courses is increasing due to the necessity of continuing education in this era of rapidly changing technologies. To promote this, Web-based distance education systems have been developed and put into practical use. To step further, we propose a virtual space, distance education platform called interactive virtual laboratory. The proposed system is expected to overcome many obstacles in performing the unit operations laboratory at the current setting. The server/client system implementation was programmed with ASP and Visual Basic. The availability of simple and efficient technological supports for dissemination and remote use of virtual lab systems supports more experimental practices regardless of the number of participating students and their locations. Variety of instruments, process equipments and lab procedures are being added to make it a complete package of virtual lab fur undergraduate unit operations course.

공작기계용 공작물 자동 적재장치의 제어장치 설계 및 제작 (Design and Manufacture of a Machine Tool Control System for Workpiece Automatic Loading System)

  • In this paper, we describe the design and manufacture of a control system for an automatic loading system that inserts and removes workpieces after machining. The control system was manufactured using DSP for high speed and consists of a power unit, a control unit, a communication unit, and a display unit. We connected the control system to the mechanical system of the automatic workpiece loader to test the characteristics, which allowed us to raise and lower the automatic workpiece loading system to the desired position. The successful test demonstrates that we can use the control system to control the workpiece automatic loading system.

국소적 강력 단위근 검정 (Locally Powerful Unit-Root Test)

  • 시계열 자료를 분석할 때, 시계열 자료가 가지고 있는 추세를 제거하기 위하여 결정적 추세인 경우 회귀모형을 이용하고, 확률적 추세인 경우 차분하는 방법을 이용한다. 이 때 제거의 옳바른 기준이 되는 검정 방법이 단위근 검정이다. 그러나 기존의 Dickey-Fuller 검정 (Dickey와 Fuller, 1979)은 표본 수가 작고, 단위근에 가까울 경우 검정력이 낮으며, 베이지안 단위근 검정은 절차가 복잡하다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 두 방법들의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여, 전통적 Dickey-Fuller 검정 방법과 베이지안 방법을 결합한 형태의 검정방법으로 제안하였다. 제안된 검정방법은 모형 AR(1)에서 계수가 거의 1이거나 표본 수가 작을 경우, 기존의 Dickey-Fuller 검정보다 검정력이 높을 뿐만 아니라 일반적인 베이지안 방법 보다 절차가 간단한 검정법이 된다.

실시간 3차원 레이저 레이더 영상 생성을 위한 CUDA 기반 병렬처리 소프트웨어 설계 (The Design of Parallel Processing S/W Using CUDA for Realtime 3D Laser Ladar Imaging System)

  • 본 논문은3차원레이저레이더(LADAR, Laser Ladar) 영상 생성 시스템 개발을 수행함에 있어, 요구되는 실시간 처리를 구현하기 위해 CPU(Central Processing Unit) 및 GPU(Graphic Processing Unit)의 병렬처리 구조를 설계하는 CUDA(Common Unified Device Architecture) 기반 소프트웨어(SW, Software) 구현 기법에 대하여 설명한다. LADAR 시스템은 레이저 거리정보를 기반으로 3차원 영상을 생성하는 복잡도 높은 시스템으로써, 각 단계별로 많은 량의 처리 자원이 필요하다. 따라서, 한정된 시스템 자원 내에서 이를 실시간으로 처리하기 위해서는 반드시 병렬처리 구조를 설계 및 적용해야 한다. 본 논문에서는, 처리 알고리즘의 단계적 분석을 통해 분할 가능한 작업에 대하여 CUDA GPU로 할당 및 처리를 수행함으로써, 시스템에서 요구하는 실시간 처리를 달성하였으며, 처리 속도 분석을 통해 최대 46%의 처리 속도 향상을 확인할 수 있었다.

원통연삭가공시 반도체 레이저 빔을 이용한 금속표면거칠기의 인프로세스 측정 (A Study on the In-process Measurement of Metallic Surface roughness in Cylindrical Grinding by Diode Laser)

  • This paper proposed a simple method for measuring surface roughness of ground surface. utilizing non-contact in-process measuring system using the diode laser. The measurement system is consisted of a laser unit with a diode laser and a cylindrical lens a detecting unit with polygon mirror and CCD array sensor. and a signal processing unit with a computer and device. During operation, this measuring system can provide information on surface roughness in the measuring distance with a single sampling and simultanilusly monitor the state of the grind wheel. The experimental results, showed that the increase of the feed rate and the dressing speed an caused increase in the surface roughness and when the surface roughness is 4Rmax-10Rmax, the cutting speed is 1653m/min-1665m/min. the feed rate is 0.2m/min-0.9m/min, the dressing speed is 0.2mm/rev-0.4mm/rev, the stylus method and the in-process method can be obtained the same results. thus under limited working conditions. using the proposed system. the surface roughness of the ground surface during cylindrical grinding can be obtained through the in-process measurement method using the diode laser.
