  • XML schema matching is the task of finding semantic correspondences between elements of two schemas. XML schema matching plays an important role in many application, such as schema integration, data integration, data warehousing, data transformation, peer-to-peer data management, semantic web etc. In this paper, we propose an XML element matching algorithm based on rules and structural properties. The proposed algorithm involves classifying elements as unique or non-unique elements according to the structural properties of XML documents and deciding on element matching in accordance with rules. We present experimental results that demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

  • Ever since Viollet-le-Due began to examine Gothic structural elements using his method of geometrical analysis in the nineteenth century, art and architectural historians and a few engineers have periodically attempted to ascertain the structural advantages of the various characteristic features of Gothic architecture. In none of these studies, however, has the way forces work within the lightweight and spacious masonry Gothic buildings been precisely interpreted. The approach taken by art and architectural historians has therefore tended to be primarily descriptive and to be based on intuitive assumptions. This study intend to analyze the Gothic non-vaulted nef unique(aisleless) structures of Lower Languedoc which has never been scientifically tested, and to provide as comprehensive an explanation as possible of the way in which these non-vaulted buildings work. In order to achieve this goal, this paper Is to examine, by means of finite element analysis. the links between the width of non-vaulted aisleless structures, the configuration of the arches, diaphragm arch, and the buttress. Finite element analysis with a computer provides a more accurate analysis than the methods of analysis that have been heretofore applied to Gothic structures, as well as permits us to visualize the global stress behavior of the structure. Combined with traditional methods of studying historical buildings, therefore, finite element analysis inevitably give us a broader understanding of the processes involved in the design and construction of medieval buildings.

  • 21C modern society is a time when enough design to dominate the world, a unique design is required new in all aspects. In addition, there is a religion to the best of Zen art. In our cultural heritage with a ethnicity unique unparalleled in the world, and a new recognition of traditional culture and identity of its own in our country, lattice door flower temple the beauty of Korea in the way you tell, it was modernized by interpreting a new one to utilize as a design element of a wood lattice door flower temple. In this study, to re-appear in openwork having regard to the symbolism of pattern and shape of the lattice door flower temple molding properties were highlighted, change the part of the motif, repeated the curve geometric has been designed to simplify as. As a result, it is possible to present the possibility of a design element that can design a traditional Korean is reinterpreted Modern thereby simplify the repetitive element of the related art, for a new aesthetic changes unique. Design Development of wood with a Buddhist temple flower lattice modern re-interpretation, it suits while a strong indication Korea imagery and expressed a variety of needs and personality to the design elements that are competitive in the world the cage, and design of wood, various studies competitive on to be applied to each field is required.

  • A theoretical investigation to find thermodynamically optimum design conditions of conduction-cooled Peltier current leads is performed. A Peltier current lead (PCL) is composed of a thermoelectric element (TE), a metallic lead and a high temperature superconductor (HTS) lead in the order of decreasing temperature. Mathematical expressions for the minimum heat flow per unit current crossing the TE-metal interface and the minimum heat flow per unit current from the metal lead to the joint of the metal and the HTS leads are obtained. It is shown that the temperature at the TE -metal interface possesses a unique optimal value that minimizes the heat flow to the joint and that this optimal value depends on the material properties of the TE and the metallic lead but not the joint temperature nor electric current. It is also shown that there exists a unique optimal value for the joint temperature between the metal and the HTS leads that minimizes the sum of the power dissipated by ohmic heating in the current leads and the refrigerator power consumed to cool the lead, for a given length of the HTS.

  • Suncheon Songgwangsa has unique ventilation roofs. In the meantime, these roofs have been known as a characteristic element of Songgwangsa architecture and a unique element of Korean traditional architecture. I would like to review the installation time of the ventilation roof and check the installation time through Songgwangsa's records and photographs. According to the results of this study, it was confirmed that the ventilation roofs installed in various buildings including the temple of Songgwangsa were installed between the 1920s and 1930s. This can be summarized by comparing the history of Songgwangsa and the history of each building of Songgwangsa by comparing the paintings of Songgwangsa in 1886 and 1915 with the photographs of 1920s and Songgwangsa in the 1930s. It is a matter of further study whether the installation of the ventilation roof of Songgwangsa Temple is influenced by the Japanese occupation period.

  • The adjusting parameter set which enable control systems to locate on stability limit can be derived from theoretical or trial methods for an existing real system. The data from the results are much available to keep a system in the Proper stability condition even to site engineers who are inexperienced in the control system. In this paper, a general one loop control system was adopted for a model system the process of which was assumed to consist of a time-delay element and a first order-lag element in series. After obtaining the corresponding parameter set for the model system by mathematical procedures, their loci on the parameter space was taken according to frequency change. The parameter set loci of stability limit showed unique pattern, and particularity , the curves on the Kg-Ti parameter space were able to be generalized in the form of, an unique exponential formula. These properties were also compared with the results taken from experimental procedures by Nyquist response method and Ziegler & Nichols method on the time domain, and both results were confirmed to be nearly same.

  • In furniture design, it is very important to choose adequate materials. Transparent materials provide expectations and reveals unique effects unlike others. As transparent materials, glass and acrylic have light and fresh impression from their transparency, and are frequently used in structuring neat space. Despite its good merits, glass is not able to satisfy designers desire in making various shape and structure. It has defect in manufacturing process because it requires professional, specialized studio. Compared to glass, acrylic has its merit in processing and stability, and also is very economical. Acrylic is easily used with woodworking tool. In addition, acrylic has unique texture. This study is on the attempt to apply acrylic to the furniture as artistic element.

  • In this article we have presented a unique representation for interval arithmetic. The traditional interval arithmetic is transformed into crisp by symbolic parameterization. Then the proposed interval arithmetic is extended for fuzzy numbers and this fuzzy arithmetic is used as a tool for uncertain finite element method. In general, the fuzzy finite element converts the governing differential equations into fuzzy algebraic equations. Fuzzy algebraic equations either give a fuzzy eigenvalue problem or a fuzzy system of linear equations. The proposed methods have been used to solve a test problem namely heat conduction problem along with fuzzy finite element method to see the efficacy and powerfulness of the methodology. As such a coupled set of fuzzy linear equations are obtained. These coupled fuzzy linear equations have been solved by two techniques such as by fuzzy iteration method and fuzzy eigenvalue method. Obtained results are compared and it has seen that the proposed methods are reliable and may be applicable to other heat conduction problems too.
