A HELPDESK system design for communication network service (데이터 통신서비스를 위한 EJB기반 통합 HELPDESK 설계에 관한 연구)

  • We need the flexible method for communication network configuration and fault management business procedure. Therefore development of systematic integrating fault management system is essential to meet on these requests. We must design the integrating fault management system so that can run the repair processing for both data communication network management and new next generation data communication network of various type. In general it is effective that the system is consisted of decentralized module to be accessibele for business logic and datum to remote area. To Solve these problem, a method is to use object-oriented design technique. That is, it is to abstract reusability objects and make component module using the abstracted objects. In this paper, we propose a fault management system of communication network service using object-oriented design techniques which are UML(Unified Modeling Language) and EJB(Enterprise Java Bean).

Synchronization of SMIL Documents using UML Use Case Diagrams and Sequence Diagrams (UML 사용 사례 다이어그램과 순서 다이어그램을 이용한 SMIL 문서 동기화)

  • SMIL(Synchronized Multimedia integration Language) allows integrating a set of independent multimedia objects into a synchronized multimedia presentation. In this paper, I propose modeling rules, formal models, modeling function and an algorithm for SMIL documents using use case diagram and sequence diagram of UML(Unified Modeling Language), It will be used the use case diagram and collaboration diagram for object-oriented visualizing tool to describe the temporal behavior of the presentation. The main contribution of this paper is that developers of SMIL documents easily generate them using this rules and algorithm. And, the formal models and modeling functions provide an environment for processing object-oriented documents.

  • Nowadays an information exchange on XML such as B2B electronic commerce is spreading. Therefore the systematic and stable management mechanism for storing the exchanged Information is needed. For this goal there are many research activities for connection between XML application and relational database. But because XML data have hierarchical structures and relational database can store only flat-structured data, we need to store XML data in object-oriented database that support hierarchical structure. Accordingly the modeling methodology for storing XML data in object-oriented database is needed. In order to build good quality application systems, modeling is an important first step. In 1997, the OMG adopted the UML as its standard modeling language. Since industry has warmly embraced UML, its popularity should become more important in the future. So a design methodology based on UML is need to develop efficiently XML applications. In this paper, we propose a unified design methodology for XML applications based on object- oriented database using UML. To this goal, first we introduce a XML modeling methodology to design W3C XML schema using UML and second we propose data modeling methodology for object-oriented database schema to store efficiently XML data in object-oriented databases.

  • 프로덕트 라인 공학에서 프로덕트 라인 아키텍처는 가장 중요한 산출물 중에 하나이다. 지금까지 여러 프로덕트 라인 방법론들에서는 프로덕트 라인 아키텍처를 모델링 하기 위한 아키텍처 기술 언어를 제안하여 왔다. 하지만, 이들 아키텍처 기술 언어는 유사한 개념을 상이한 표기법으로 정의함으로써, 서로 다른 아키텍처 기술 언어로 표기된 모델 간에 호환성이 떨어지는 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 사실상 표준으로 자리잡고 있는 UML (Unified Modeling Language)를 이용하여 프로덕트 라인 아키텍처를 모델링하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • 컴포넌트 기반의 개발과 컴포넌트 개발에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 이를 위하 개발 방법론과 개발 도구들의 도입이 확산되고 있다. 또한 컴포넌트의 재사용 범위를 확장시키기 위해 컴포넌트 개발 시 나타나는 Hot Spot 처리를 위한 분석, 설계 기법에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 분석, 설계기법을 이용하여 융통적인 계층적 접근 권한에 대한 분석, 설계 모델을 제시한다. 본 논문에서는 다지인 모델링을 위한 표기법으로서 객체지향 모델링 기법인 UML(Unified Modeling Language)를 이용하여 모델링 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존에 구현한 유닉스 버전 CASE(Computer Aided Software Engineering) 도구인 OODesigner를 윈도 버전으로 이식한 연구 결과에 대하여 논한다. 유닉스 버전 OODesigner는 Rumbaugh가 제안한 OMT(Object Modeling Technique) 기법을 지원하기 위해 구현되었지만 윈도 버전은 UML(Unified Modeling Language)을 지원할 수 있도록 기능이 향상되었다. 본 논문은 구현된 윈도 버전 OODesigner의 설계 문서와 구현 결과를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 음성 중심의 통신이 아닌 데이터 중심의 통신을 위한 네트워크인 PSTN/IP 통합망의 기본 호처리 프로세스를 객체 지향 관점에서 모델링을 하였다. 데이터 통신의 빠른 증가를 충족 시키기 위해, 기존의 하드웨어로 구성된 교환기를 범용 컴퓨터를 이용해 구현하고자 하는 PSTN/IP 통합망의 개발은 하드웨어 관점의 모델링이 아닌 소프트웨어 관점의 모델링을 기반으로 구축되어야 한다. 이를 위해 기존의 하드웨어 교환기 모델링에서 사용되던 State Model을 객체 지향 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 모델링의 표준인 UML(Unified Modeling Language) 표기법을 이용해 재모델링하였다.

A Study on Automatic Classification of Class Diagram Images (클래스 다이어그램 이미지의 자동 분류에 관한 연구)

  • UML class diagrams are used to visualize the static aspects of a software system and are involved from analysis and design to documentation and testing. Software modeling using class diagrams is essential for software development, but it may be not an easy activity for inexperienced modelers. The modeling productivity could be improved with a dataset of class diagrams which are classified by domain categories. To this end, this paper provides a classification method for a dataset of class diagram images. First, real class diagrams are selected from collected images. Then, class names are extracted from the real class diagram images and the class diagram images are classified according to domain categories. The proposed classification model has achieved 100.00%, 95.59%, 97.74%, and 97.77% in precision, recall, F1-score, and accuracy, respectively. The accuracy scores for the domain categorization are distributed between 81.1% and 95.2%. Although the number of class diagram images in the experiment is not large enough, the experimental results indicate that it is worth considering the proposed approach to class diagram image classification.

  • The relational data model can't be applied to CAD/CAM, CE, and CIM since it can't support the semantic model concept such as complex object, random data definition, manipulation, version control, generalization, aggregation and so on. In this paper, the IPCS(Integrated Production Control System) for hand-rail of ship is parted into several module according to process function. further more, the object oriented data model is designed with UML(Unified Modeling Language). UML is the object oriented design methodology of industrial standard that combines the Booch's methodology, the Rumbaugh's On(Object Modeling Technique), and the Jacobson's OOSE(Object-Oriented Software Engineering) methodology. The efficient management is expected with object-oriented data model construction, since this developed system can achieve efficient process control, system maintenance, repair and extension.

  • U-City is the key element of the future knowledge-based society where every citizen will be benefited from the most advanced information technology. The following research reengineers the old process to define the rational and efficient process of the U-City construction project(BPR: Business Process Reengineering). In order to achieve the goal, identify and diagnose problem points, outline the improved plan, and readjust the managing system and process to propose better process. And Lastly, redefine the best efficient process by simple modeling using the UML(Unified Modeling Language). The goal of the systematic proposal is to make contributions to a base of the green growth to be the development of the Sustainable U-City.
